몽골 남성의 체형특성에 관한 연구 - 18~24세를 중심으로 - (A Study on Body Types Characteristics of Mongolian Men)

  • The purpose of the study was to offer basic documents to the textile fashion industry by investigating changes of figures by various factors as each other social and environment. This study analyzes characterization and classification of body types of Mongolian men. 100 adult subjects within the 18 to 24 age group were studied. The physical measurements of the research subjects come up to a total of 63 items. Data was statistically analyzed with SPSS program using basic statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan-test, factor analysis and cluster analysis. The conclusions are as follows. In the result of factors analysis in physical measurements of Mongolian men, 10 factors such as the vertical size of body, on the obesity of body, the leg size, the bust from back length, the bust from front length, the shoulder size were extracted. The accumulated contributory rate of these was 73.86%. The cluster analysis for the comparison of the body types, by categorizing the body types produced three types. The comparison of 45 items in physical measurements between Korean men and Mongolian men resulted in the differences in 20 items. While the height items including stature between them showed negligible differences.

8주간의 슬링을 이용한 요부안정화 운동이 천장관절 증후군 남성의 근체형 및 주관적 통증정도에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Sling Lumbar Stabilization Exercise to Muscle Body Type and Subjective Pain Degree of Men Who Have Sacroiliac Joint Syndrome)

  • 본 연구는 천장관절 증후군으로 진단받은 중년남성 17명을 대상으로 슬링을 이용한 요부 안정화 운동이 근체형 및 주관적 통증에 영향을 주는지를 규명하여 슬링을 이용한 요부안정화 운동의 효과성을 증명하는데 있다. 본 연구의 대상자는 C시에 소재한 S정형외과에서 X-Ray 등의 검사를 통하여 천장관절 증후군으로 진단 받은 6개월 이상의 병력이 있는 만성 요통환자를 대상으로 슬링을 이용한 요부안정화 운동을 8주간 주 3회씩 1회 30분 통 24회 실시한 후 3차원 Moire 근체형검사기를 사용하여 근체형의 변화와 변형된 VAS통증 자각도를 이용하여 주관적 통증정도의 전 후 변화를 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 근체형의 변화는 운동전과 운동 후 통계적으로 유의하게 향상됐고 주관적 통증정도 역시 통계적으로 유의한 감소를 나타내었다. 따라서 슬링을 이용한 요부안정화 운동은 천장관절 증후군 환자의 근체형 및 통증개선에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 판명되었다.

  • This study utilized data to classify and characterize the body types of plus-size adult men aged in their 30s and 40s. Diversity is an important factor in the era of inclusive design, and discussion about size diversity to include the plus size should be accommodated. Data from 493 adult men classified as obese (with a World Health Organization criterion ≥25 BMI) were used for the analysis. The results of the study are as follows. Six independent factors were extracted using factor analysis for cluster analysis, which were then classified into five types. Type 1 (29.01%) was identified as body type I with the smallest degree of obesity. Type 2 (15.4%) was identified as body type Y with wide shoulders and a thin waist. Type 3 (14.2%) was the largest body volume (body type O), while the fourth (19.27%) identified as body type H has a large height and upper body. Lastly, type 5 (22.11%) has a long lower body and a slim abdomen, referred to as body type X. This study presents a basis for the development of various clothing sizes utilizing the body shape characteristics of plus-size men in their 30s and 40s. Follow-up research is needed to develop patterns for plus size men and to design various products.

178cm 이상의 키 큰 성인남성에 대한 체간부 체형 유형화 연구 (Study on torso body types of adult males over 178cm tall)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the body type characteristics of tall adult men aged 20 to 69 years to present base material on body dimensions for men's clothing companies. The research method comprised statistical analysis of 3D measurements after selecting items from the 8th Korean human body size survey related to the torso body types of 495 adult men who were at least 178cm tall. As a result, six factors were extracted, and the total explanatory variable of the entire factor was shown to be 80.499%. As a result of cluster analysis using this as an independent variable, three types were derived: Type 1, "a normal body type with an oval cross-sectional shape" (37.6%), with a larger vertical size and an oval chest cross-sectional shape compared to other types; Type 2: a "cylindrical thick body shape" (31.1%), which is the first stage of BMI obesity, with narrow shoulders and a cylindrical shape with a round cross-section; Type 3, "a body shape with broad shoulders and developed chest parts" (31.3%), with a horizontal size similar to Type 2 above the waist, but similar to Type 1 below. The results of this study are expected to be used as a basis for a clothing dimension system and clothing development for tall men reflecting the characteristics of the torso.

  • This study was conducted to offer basic data that can be used in a clothing industry for active senior males that are emerging as a new consumer bracket in a rapid aging age. To this end, this study conducted an analysis of 'younger' older male body types based on data from the 6th Size Korea. As a result of the body type analysis of 'younger' older males who are considered active seniors in comparison to 'middle' aged males, the former's height items became shorter compared to 'middle' aged males, but circumference items were bigger. Males aged 35-69, who are 'middle' aged males and 'younger' old males were divided into three body types in this study: Type1- small body type with protruded belly, compared to weight. Type 2- body type of slim torso with wide shoulder-back widths. Type3- big body type overall with tall height and heavy weight. According to body type distribution by age group, the middle-aged males had Type2 body type the most. The younger-old males showed type1 the most. There is a need to reflect the body types of active senior male characteristics in apparel pattern design because the current fits are not appropriate if active senior males wear clothing targeted for males aged 30-50.

패션 CAD 시스템을 활용한 성인남성의 타이트 핏 토르소원형 설계방법 연구 - 휜체형과 숙인체형을 중심으로 - (A study on the design method of tight fit Thorso patterns for adult males using fashion CAD system - Focusing on the sway back somatotype and the bend forward somatotype -)

  • This study tried to suggest a drafting method to draft tight fit torso patterns suitable for adult males with a sway back somatotype and a bend forward somatotype by setting and distributing the ease through the completion of the somatic surface pattern using the 3D body surface segment method. It was intended to be presented as a drafting method. As for the research method, the suitability of the somatic surface patterns and the tight fit torso patterns were confirmed by the evaluation of virtual wear, and the patterns were modified and supplemented. The research results are as follows. In the first evaluation of the tight fit torso patterns, the average, for 55 evaluation items, was 3.92 points for the sway back somatotype and 3.89 points for the bend forward somatotype. In the second evaluation, the bend forward somatotype was 4.51 points and the sway back somatotype was 4.62 points. The chest circumference ease amount for the bend forward somatotype and the sway back somatotype are 6.5% (6.8 cm) and 7% (6.8 cm) of the chest circumference, respectively, and the distribution of the front and back ease is the same at 4:6 (2.72 cm:4.08 cm). The waist circumference ease amount is 6.5% (5.8cm) and 6.5% (5.6 cm) of the waist circumference dimensions, and the distribution of the front and backease are 5:5 (1.45 cm: 1.45 cm) and 4:6 (2.24 cm: 3.36 cm), respectively. The completed tight fit torso patterns were converted into institutional formulas and presented as a drafting method.

남성정장 치수규격를 위한 성인 남성의 체형 연구(I) - 상반신 체형을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Figure Types af Adult Males for the Sizing System of Men′s Suits - Focusing on the Upper Body -)

  • This study classified figure types of adult males into several kinds of shape to provide fundamental data for their clothing sizing system. The subjects were 1496 men aged between 20 and 60 years old. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis and discriminant analysis. The results were as follows 1. For the result of the interview, the data were grouped into three age brackets: 20-35,31-45 and 41-60 years. 2. Factor analysis using values, which were measurements divided by either weight or height, was carried out to extract factors which characterize the various figures. fve factors to determine the figure types were extracted. 3. Cluster analysis using factor scores was carried out to categorize the figure types within the age groups. Figure types, describing shoulder angie and body shape, were categorized into 3 per age group. 4. Stepwise discriminant analysis w3s used to ensure that these clusters could be utilized with appropriate hit ratio. The hit ratio for each age group was around 80%.

3차원 인체 스캔 데이터를 활용한 중년 남성 정면 비대칭 체형 특성 분석 (Analysis of Middle-aged Men's Frontal Body Shape Asymmetry using 3D Body Scan Data)

  • This study aims to analyze middle-aged men's frontal body shape asymmetry by measuring the left and right body dimensions and angles of 388 middle-aged men aged 40 to 59 using 3D body scan data and comparing the measured values. The study also compares the measured values of width, height, and angle and their relationships using Size Korea's anthropometric measurement and posture index of the New York Posture Rating Scale. The results confirm that the asymmetric shape characteristics of the upper and lower body appear differently. In addition, the asymmetrical characteristics between the upper and lower body differed, indicating that the close parts of the body affect each other. Similar to the difference in the left and right frontal body shapes and the average angle distribution, the asymmetrical upper and lower body characteristics also are found to be dissimilar when the correlations are examined. In contrast, there is no asymmetry in the width, height, and angle considering the age and BMI groups. Finally, the study classifies three body types and identifies their asymmetric characteristics. Overall, this study contributes primary data for further research on pattern production for asymmetric and unique body types and the development of customized apparel products.
