  • This paper proposed that the eddy-current measurement method can be used a means of in-process measuring the hardening depth in Laser surface treatment process. Also, this paper deal with the numerical analysis of magnetic flux distribution and experimental result of measurement. In Laser heat treatment process of steels, a thin layer of the substrate is rapidly heated to austenitizing temperature and subsequently cooled at a very fast rate due to the self-quenching by heat conduction into the bulk body, to produce a martensite structure which have low magnetic permeability. The eddy-current measurement method depends on the properties of material to be measured such as electric conductivity, magnetic permeability and geometry. In this paper, the hardening depth was measured by detecting relevant magnetic permeability changes caused by heat treatment of steels.

한국인 인체 측정 데이터를 이용한 내수용 승용차 내부 설계 평가 및 개선에 대한 연구

  • 본 연구는 현재 국내에서 생산되는 주요 승용차의 운전석과 운전석 주변 제어장치간의 규 격이 한국 성인의 신체에 맞게 설계되었는지를 분석하고 평가하여 한국인의 신체에 적합한 승용차 내부설계의 개선안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 최근의 한국인 인체 측정 자료를 이용하여 운전자가 운전석에서 갖추어야 할 편안한 자세를 3차원 인체 모델링 도구인 SAFEWORK을 이용하여 모델링하였다. 이 모델링을 위해 본 연구에서는 사람과 환경과의 관계를 고정적인 인체 측정 데이터와 기능적인 인체 측정 데이터를 동시에 고려하여 삼차원으로 모델링한 다음 현재 국 내에 판매중인 소형, 준중형, 중형승용차 3종류의 규격차를 적용한 시트를 SAFEWORK으로 설계하였다. 한국인 인체 측정 데이터로 만들어진 마네킨을 설계된 각각의 시트에 앉혀 시트의 규격과, 운전석 주변의 제어장치간의 규격에 대한 적합성 여부를 판단한 결과, 운전석에서 accelerator pedal까지의 거리와 volume control 까지의 거리, 운전석의 깊이와 뒷좌석 폭 등 연구대상이 된 3종류의 내수용 승용차의 주요 규격이 한국 성인의 신체에 부적합하다는 결과가 나왔다. 이에 한국 성인의 인체 측정 데이터에 적합한 시트와 주변 제어장치간의 설계 규격을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 키넥트(Kinect) 센서를 이용한 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 특히, 키넥트 센서는 2차원 칼라 영상 뿐만 아니라 2차원의 깊이(depth) 정보를 제공하므로 그 활용가치가 높다고 볼 수 있다. 현재 주목받고 있는 분야는 제어시스템 분야를 들 수 있으며, 인체 모션을 이용하여 특정 명령을 수행하거나 기계의 움직임을 제어할 수 있도록 하는 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 키넥트 센서를 이용하여 윈도우즈 운영체제의 키보드와 마우스를 하나로 통합하고 Window7 기반의 응용프로그램을 제어할 수 프로그램을 설계하여 다양한 입력 모션에 대한 패턴인식을 통하여 3차원 입력장치의 구현을 키넥트 기반으로 실현 가능한 것을 제시하고자 한다.

  • Techniques to recognize depth values using Kinect infrared projectors continue to evolve. Techniques to track human movements are being developed from the Marcris method to the Bimarris method. Capture of facial movement using Kinect has disadvantages that are not sophisticated. In addition, a method to control the gestures and movements on the face in real time requires much research. Therefore, this paper proposes a technique to create natural 3D image contents by studying technology to apply and control branding technology to extracted face recognition data using Kinect infrared method.

  • 'Gesture' except for voice is the most intuitive means of communication. Thus, many researches on how to control computer using gesture are in progress. User detection and tracking in these studies is one of the most important processes. Conventional 2D object detection and tracking methods are sensitive to changes in the environment or lights, and a mix of 2D and 3D information methods has the disadvantage of a lot of computational complexity. In addition, using conventional 3D information methods can not segment similar depth object. In this paper, we propose object detection and tracking method using Depth Projection Map that is the cumulative value of the depth and motion information. Simulation results show that our method is robust to changes in lighting or environment, and has faster operation speed, and can work well for detection and tracking of similar depth objects.

Design Evaluation of the Post-installed Anchor considering Effective Embedded Depth and Concrete Strength (유효 묻힘 깊이와 콘크리트 강도를 고려한 후설치 앵커의 설계식 평가)

  • Post-installed anchor is a structural material that connects structural and non-structural members to existing concrete members. However, there are cases where rebar interception and construction error occur at the site. In that case, measures are needed to prevent performance degradation of the rear-installation anchors. In this study, in order to evaluate the performance of torsional control expandable post-installed anchors for compressive strength and effective depth of the reference concrete was tested. The results of the most commonly used tests of M10 and M20 showed that had variable coefficients within 15%, satisfying the reliability presented in KCI(2017). It was also confirmed that the depth of the buried and the strength of concrete affect the strength of the pavement. Based on the results of the existing similar studies and the results of this study, the design equation of the post-installed anchor was proposed and the results were compared with the existing design.

3D Pointing for Effective Hand Mouse in Depth Image (깊이영상에서 효율적인 핸드 마우스를 위한 3D 포인팅)

  • This paper proposes a 3D pointing interface that is designed for the efficient application of a hand mouse. The proposed method uses depth images to secure high-quality results even in response to changes in lighting and environmental conditions and uses the normal vector of the palm of the hand to perform 3D pointing. First, the hand region is detected and tracked using the existing conventional method; based on the information thus obtained, the region of the palm is predicted and the region of interest is obtained. Once the region of interest has been identified, this region is approximated by the plane equation and the normal vector is extracted. Next, to ensure stable control, interpolation is performed using the extracted normal vector and the intersection point is detected. For stability and efficiency, the dynamic weight using the sigmoid function is applied to the above detected intersection point, and finally, this is converted into the 2D coordinate system. This paper explains the methods of detecting the region of interest and the direction vector and proposes a method of interpolating and applying the dynamic weight in order to stabilize control. Lastly, qualitative and quantitative analyses are performed on the proposed 3D pointing method to verify its ability to deliver stable control.

Characteristics of the Lateral Resistance of Pile according to the Lateral Loading Rate in Dense Sand (조밀한 모래지반에서 수평재하속도에 따른 말뚝의 수평저항 특성)

  • Recently, research on the lateral resistance of pile foundations has been actively conducted. In experimental studies on the lateral resistance of pile foundations, displacement control or load control methods are used. However, in the case of the displacement control method, the lateral resistance of the pile varies depending on the rate of the load applied to the pile. Therefore, this study seeks to determine the change in lateral resistance of pile foundations according to lateral loading rate through model experiments. The experimental results showed that the lateral resistance of the pile tended to decrease as the lateral loading rate applied to the pile head increased. In order to confirm this, a model experiment of the side change of the ground and pile according to the loading rate was additionally conducted. Through inverse analysis, the change in the depth of the rotation point according to the lateral loading rate was identified. Through the change in the lateral resistance of the pile foundation and the depth of the rotating point according to the lateral loading rate, it was proposed to test the loading rate within 1.5 mm/min during the lateral loading test of the pile.

User Detection and Main Body Parts Estimation using Inaccurate Depth Information and 2D Motion Information (정밀하지 않은 깊이정보와 2D움직임 정보를 이용한 사용자 검출과 주요 신체부위 추정)

  • 'Gesture' is the most intuitive means of communication except the voice. Therefore, there are many researches for method that controls computer using gesture input to replace the keyboard or mouse. In these researches, the method of user detection and main body parts estimation is one of the very important process. in this paper, we propose user objects detection and main body parts estimation method on inaccurate depth information for pose estimation. we present user detection method using 2D and 3D depth information, so this method robust to changes in lighting and noise and 2D signal processing 1D signals, so mainly suitable for real-time and using the previous object information, so more accurate and robust. Also, we present main body parts estimation method using 2D contour information, 3D depth information, and tracking. The result of an experiment, proposed user detection method is more robust than only using 2D information method and exactly detect object on inaccurate depth information. Also, proposed main body parts estimation method overcome the disadvantage that can't detect main body parts in occlusion area only using 2D contour information and sensitive to changes in illumination or environment using color information.

방전 가공을 이용한 미세 구멍 가공 시 발생하는 테이퍼 형상의 제어

  • 미세 방전 가공은 전도성 재료에 미세 구멍을 가공할 때 주로 적용되는 방법이다. 그러나 미세 방전가공을 이용하여 구멍을 가공할 때 직경이 일정한 공구를 사용하더라도 입구와 출구의 직경에는 차이가 생긴다. 구멍의 벽면과 공구사이에는 2차 방전이 발생하고 상대적으로 2차 방전의 영향을 많이 받는 입구가 출구보다 직경이 커지게 된다. 이 때문에 미세 구멍의 단면 형상은 깊이 방향으로 테이퍼가 생기게 되며, 이로 인해 진직 구멍을 가공할 수 없게 된다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 이러한 테이퍼 형상을 제거하여 진직 구멍을 가공하는 방법에 관해 연구하였다.(중략)
