  • Purpose: This study purpose to comparison the effects of passive scapular alignment exercise and hold & relaxation technique on craniovertebral angle (C1~C7) with forward head posture due to using variety bag and using computer in healthy subjects. Design: Randomized Controlled Trial. Methods: 22 subjects were divide into two groups: PSAEx group and H/R group two groups. After exercise, the CVA were measured using C7 and tragus. Collected data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 20.2 Results: There were significant differences pre and post the exercise. Conclusion: PSAEx and H/R technique was effective to correct a abnormal CVA posture. The result of this study may helpful as basic data for orthopedic physical therapy.

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to examine the Effect of Lunge Exercise on the Balance of Stable and Unstable Supporting surface. Method : The experimenter was a healthy twenties male and female. The period was two weeks, divided into a stable group and a unstable group. Setting the holding time 4 sec 3 sets of 10 times using the Stable and Unstable Supporting Surfaces. The break time was set at one minute for each set. Balance cushions were used for unstable supporting surfaces. Results : After Lunge Exercise, Both groups had an impact on improving their ability to balance. Conclusion : There has not been much change in the ability to balance the stable and Unstable Supporting Surfaces. However, considering surface conditions, the pre and post exercise comparisons had an effect on improving the ability to balance.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of olfactory stimulation on the balance ability of the elderly. Design: Randomized controlled trial. Methods: A total of 20 subjects were randomly assigned to the olfactory stimulation group (2 males and 8 females) and deception olfactory stimulation group (3 males and 7 females). Subjects were subjected to 30 second 3 times olfactory stimulation and deception olfactory stimulation, and the assessment measured pre and post postural distance and postural speed. Results: In the elderly, the olfactory stimulation group was significantly improved the postural distance and postural speed in the eyes closed state than the deception stimulation group (p<.05). Conclusion: As the information is provided through the olfactory stimulation, the postural distance and postural speed are significantly improved. therefore, it is expected that the olfactory stimulation in the elderly will be an effective intervention method to prevent fall.

  • 경상북도 서부에 위치한 김천(金泉)은 예로부터 역을 둔 교통의 요충지였으며 이후 경부선 첡도와 경부고속도로의 건설과 함께 비약적인 발전을 거듭했다. 문화의 고장 김천은 소백산맥 자락인 대덕산과 황악산에서 흘러내린 풍부한 물과 바람이 적당하여 일찍이 포도와 자두, 참외와 같은 원예시설농업이 발달했다. 특히 포도와 자두는 그 생산량에 있어 전국대비 13%와 30%를 각각 차지하는 김천의 대표적인 농특산물로서 그 명성이 잘 알려져 있다.

The Effects of Body Blade and Thera Band Exercise in Upper Extremity Muscle Strength, Grip Strength and Balance in University Students (바디블레이드와 세라밴드를 이용한 운동이 대학생의 상지근력 악력 및 균형에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of body blade and Thera band exercise on upper extremity strength, grip strength and balance of university students. Design: Single Blind Randomized Controlled Trial. Method: twenty healthy adults, participated in this study, and were recruited by G University in Gimcheon Korea. The subjects were randomly divided into A group that went through Thera band exercise and B group that went through Body blade exercise. Each group had 10 subjects. All subjects did the experiment for 3 times a week for 3weeks. Spss was used for statistical analysis. Result: 1) Grip strength: After exercising, for the BE group, there were statistically significant differences in dominant and non-dominant hand. However, for the TE group, there were no significant statistical differences in both hands. 2) muscle strength: In the TE group there were no significant statistical differences in the dominant and non-dominant arm. But in the BE group there were differences which were found. 3) balance: After exercising, both groups had no significant statistical difference in medial lateral balance. In anterior and posterior balance, TE group had no statistical significant difference but BE group did. Conclusion: To improve muscle strength balance and grip strength, body blade exercise is more effective than Thera band exercise.

  • Purpose: This study was to examine the differences in muscle activities for some muscles of the legs used in a broad jump after applying tape to healthy people. The purpose of this study was to improve the exercising ability of patients and athletes during the rehabilitation training. Design: Randomized Controlled Trial. Methods: The experimental group was attached with the Kinesio tape on Rectus femoris, Biceps femoris and Gastrocnemius. Before doing broad jumping, they had stretching with the following order. And we measured broad jumps five times. We gave the rest period between trials. After every trial was measured, they were performed to cool-down exercise with the same way of warm-up exercise. And the control group did the same exercises as the experimental group except for attaching the Kinesio tape on muscles. Results: The results of Rectus femoris, Biceps femoris and Gastrocnemius activities according to tape application of femoris muscle were significantly increased (p<.05) compared to untreated group. Conclusion: Therefore, Kinesio tape has an effect on the improvement of the broad jump recorded by affecting the increase in muscle activities.

Estimation of distributed groundwater recharge in Gimcheon region (김천지역의 분포형 지하수 함양량 산정)

  • 지하수 관리를 위해서는 시공간적인 변동성을 고려한 지하수 함양량의 정량적 산정이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 지표수-지하수 연동해석이 가능하며 토지이용 특성과 국내 토양특성을 가장 잘 표현할 수 있는 한국형 장기 유출 모형 SWAT-K를 이용하여 김천지역의 분포형 지하수 함양량을 산정하였다. 행정경계와 수자원단위지도에서 제시하는 표준단위유역을 기준으로 하여 김천시를 포함하는 유역을 SWAT-K 구동을 위한 모델영역으로 설정하여 주하도를 따라 19개의 소유역으로 구분하였다. SWAT-K를 구동하기 위해서는 기상 및 수문자료를 구축해야 하는데 강우량을 비롯하여 기온, 풍속, 일사량, 상대습도 등의 기상자료가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 대상유역 내에 위치한 구미, 추풍령, 거창, 상주 기상관측소와 김천, 지례, 부항1, 부항2, 선산 강우관측소의 자료를 이용하여 기상 및 강우자료를 구축하였으며, 모형의 계산시간, 모형결과의 정확도 등을 판단하여 30m 공간해상도를 가지는 DEM을 300m 공간해상도로 가공하여 사용하였다. 토지이용도는 모의시 다양한 토지이용상태를 반영할 수 있도록 중분류(1:25,000) 토지이용도를 사용하였다. 토양도는 국립농업과학원에서 토양도 전산화 사업을 통해 구축된 1:25,000 축척의 정밀토양도를 사용하였다. SWAT-K를 이용하여 김천시를 포함한 전체유역에 대해 지표수-지하수 통합 물수지 분석 결과(2008년~2015년) 연평균 강수량 대비 유출률은 61.2%, 증발산률은 36.3%, 함양률은 18.0%로 나타났다. 지표수 유출과정과 지하수위 변동을 동시에 고려하여 산정한 소유역별 연간 함양량 결과를 산정하였고, 총 19개의 소유역별 연간 지하수 함양량을 제시하였다. 또한 SWAT-K 모형을 이용한 모델 영역중 김천시에 속하는 행정구역별, 표준권역별 연평균 함양량을 산출하였으며, 그 분석 결과 김천시 평균 함양률은 18.2%로 산정되었다.
