When a robot hand grasp an object, the number of ways to grasp it stably are infinite and thus an optimal grasp planning is needed to find the optimal grasp points for satisfying the objective of the given task. In this paper, we first define some grasp indices to evaluate the quality of each feasible grasp and then a weighted composite grasp index by combining all of the grasp indices is also defined. Next, we propose a method to find the optimal grasp points of the given object by comparing the defined weighted composite grasp index for each feasible grasp points. By simulation results, we show the effectiveness of the proposed optimal grasp planning method and also discuss the trend of each grasp index as the grasp polygon.

The effect of air gap between specimen and jig on the material constant (permittivity, permeability) and attenuation characteristics of electromagnetic wave absorbers in the coaxial line method was investigated. The presence of a air gap made both permittivity and permeability measured lower than true value, and the tendency was greater in the case of permittivity. An inner gap compared to an outer gop was found to yield a larger difference between measured and true values. The effect of air gap was measured for a Ni0.3Zn0.7Fe2O4, with the gap eliminated by metallizing with Ag-paste. The measured characteristics were in good agreement with corrected values by calculation.

융액인상법에 의하여 Nd3+ 이온이 15 at% 주입된 LaSc3(BO3)4 단결정을 성장하였다. 최적의 결정성장 조건하에서 성장된 결정은 결정형이 잘 발달되고 보라색 투명하였다. 편광 현미경에 의한 결정결함 분석결과 성장된 결정 중심부에서 0.1 mm 크기의 기포가 검출되었고, B2O3가 증발하여 결정에 증착된 shoulder 부위에서는 균열이 발생되었으나 body에서는 결함이 검출되지 않았다. X선 회절에 의하여 cell parameter를 측정한 결과 a=7.73 , b=9.85 , c=12.05 , β=105.48o 및 공간군 C2/c의 monoclinic 구조로 분석되었다. 양질의 단결정을 성장하기 위한 결정성장 요소는 회전속도 10 rmp, 인상속도 1.5 mm/h이었다. 성장된 결정은 808 nm에서 강하고 넓은 흡수대와 1050∼1080 nm에 걸친 형광 방출대가 관찰되었다. 성장된 결정을 이용하여 직경 3 mm, 두께 1mm 크기의 micro-chip laser 소자의 제조기술을 확립하였다.

부유대용융법에 의하여 전이금속, 희토류금속, 및 3A족 금속이온의 종류와 농도를 조절하면서 Rutile 단결정을 성장하였으며, 결정결함과 1.55 ㎛에서의 광 투과도에 미치는 각 불순이온의 영향을 조사하였다. 주입된 불순이온 중에서 양호한 결정형을 나타내는 이온은 V5+, Fe3+, Al3+, Zr4+, Ga3+, Sc3+이었으며, Al3+, Zr4+, Sc3+ 이온은 우수한 투과도를 나타내었다. 성장된 결정 중에서 가장 양호한 결정형을 제공하고, 산소결핍 및 low-angle grain boundaries의 형성을 최대로 억제하며, 양호한 투과도를 나타낸 우수한 품질의 Rutile 단결정은 TiO2 99.4 at%-Al2O3 0.6 at%로 평가되었다.

Study on the analysis of sodium spray fire using Gaussian drop size distribution, which redistributes a droplet spectrum with given mean diameter if its size classes with critical diameter(D>8mm) occur, was carried out. In this case, the oversized droplets were reduced to a stable diameter. Results calculated by the code using Gaussian drop size distribution were in better agreement with AI experimental results than those of NACOM and SPRAY code. The effect of variance on pressure in the test cell appeared greatly by introducing Gaussian function, which could represent various sodium droplet size distribution. The increase of the variance with mean droplet size resulted had an important effect upon the pressure in the test cell.

Dense glass-ceramics for low firing temperature substrate were prepared by addition of CeO2 flux to the glass of MgO-Al2O3-SiO2 system. Glass powders were fabricated by melting at 150$0^{\circ}C$ and ball milling. Glass powder compacts were sintered at 800~100$0^{\circ}C$ for 3h. The crystallization and the shrinkage behaviors of glass powder compacts were analyzed by XRD, DTA and TMA. The shrinkage of glass powder compact increased with increasing the amount of CeO2. Because the softening temperature decreased and the crystallization temperature increased with increasing the amount of CeO2. Apparently, addition of CeO2 prevented formation of $\mu$-cordierite phase from the glass-ceramics and improved formation of $\alpha$-cordierite phase. Therefore crystallization properties were enhanced.

Mullite and cordierite were prepared by the sol-gel route. Boehmite, fumed silica and Mg(NO3)2$.$6H2O were their starting materials. Mullite and cordierite powder were mixed by various weight percent. These mixed sols were ball-milled for 48hrs, dried at 100$^{\circ}C$, pressed, cold isostatic pressed and sintered at 1490$^{\circ}C$ for 2hrs. Mullite-cordierite composites sintered at 1490$^{\circ}C$ for 2hrs had>98% of theoretical density. Bending strength of the sintered bodies were 329-249MPa, dielectric constant 7.1-6.7 at 1MHz and thermal expansion coefficient at 800$^{\circ}C$ was matched with Si in the range of 30-35wt% cordierite.

This study aims to the increasing the reliability of gun firing system of patrol killer guided missile from failure mode analysis. In order to find out the breakdown parameter, the examination process of the sources of the problems and the quality improvement activities are analyzed with performance testing data. From this study, the rate of operation and the reliability of 76 mm naval guns will be increase. And the result of the study is expected to be used as a reference data in the naval gun firing system for another failure mode analysis.

Larger area will be constructed in a harbor land and container terminal which are constructed in reclaimed land using the dredged materials. Soil improvement work is to be carried out including constructibility, in which is monitoring devices, measuring frequency, installations etc. The ground water tables in the reclaimed area are affected by the several factors which are design reclamation level, consolidation settlement, remaining surcharge pressure and remaining excess pore water pressure. The plan wii be drawn up in which monitoring results for the ground water tables are capable to provide the reliable ground water table when designers and civil engineers construct the harbor structures considering constructibility.

This study is to compared with 7-ga mathematics textbooks of 13 types in the middle school by 7-th curriculum. A synopsis of the Analysis and comparison about the contents of these textbooks is as follows. -The order of contents almost is same about the title and contents in 13 types of textbooks. -It is very important that the definition of terminology should be simple and correct. I investigated the terminology in thirteen textbooks of material at 7-th curriculum. -Most of their textbooks present the motivation of learning mathematics with resource of life such as a story of mathematics and famous mathematicians. -The chapter about numbers and operations has the biggest volume of all. -The evaluation of lessons presents at the each end of chapters with many problems as levels.
