Flexural and Shear Strength of RC Deep Beams related to Anchorage Failure (정착파괴가 관련된 깊은 보의 휨-전단 강도에 관한 연구)

  • This study presents the plastic analysis for the flexural and shear strength of RC beams related to anchorage failure. Five failure mechanisms based on the upper bound solution were constructed and the ultimate strength equations were formulated from them. The parametric study herein was carried out to observe the variation of the controlling failure mechanism depending on the parameters in the ultimate strength equations. The results of the parametric study show that controlling failure mechanism and ultimate strength are determined through the interaction of each parameter. This indicated that respective structural configuratins must be treated in a unified manner. Additionally this study proposes the scope of the parameter to induce the flexural of RC deep beams.

  • This paper proposes a genetic fuzzy controller ensemble (FCE) for improving the control performance of of fuzzy controller in the non-linear and complex problems. The design procedure of each fuzzy controller in the FCF consists of the following two stages, each of which is performed by different genetic algorithms. The first stage generates a fuzzy rule base that covers the training examples as many as possible. The second stage builds fine-tuned membership funcitons that make the control error as small as possible. These two stages are repeated independently upon the different partition patterns of input-output variables. The control performance of the proposed method is compared with that of wang and mendel's approach[1] in terms of either the percentage of successful controls reaching to the goal or the average traveling distance.

Model Development of Daily and Hourly Energy Load for Department Stores (백화점 건물의 에너지 부하모델 개발)

  • Case study was peformed to analyze energy load for department stores and develop energy load model to be applied to a cogeneration system. Energy loads of 14 departments were analyzed based on energy load sheets written by operators and energy load of one department store was measured through modem communication for a year. Energy load of department stores shows various variations depending on when they are opened or closed and, hours, days and months. In this paper, the measurement was compared with data in energy load sheets and resolved, and energy load model for a department store was built. It is important to use an accurate energy load model for an accurate feasibility study applying a cogeneration system to buildings.

  • 본 논문에서는 8VSB수신기가 다중경로신호에 따른 성능이 나쁜 것에 대한 원인 분석과 나아가 개선책을 제시하기 위해 다중경로 신호가 디지털 지상파 TV의 수신성능에 미치는 영향에 대해 수신단의 STR(Symbol Timing Recovery)과 등화기를 중심으로 분석한다. 첫째 등화기의 성능 분석을 위해 에코의지연시간이 7.5 $\mu$sec일 때 시불변 환경에서 전산 모의 실험을 하였다. 등화기 수렴후의 에로 레벨에 따른 TOV(Threshold of Visibility) S/N(Signal to Noise)를 구해보면 호주의 실험실 측정과는 달리 0dB에서도 S/N이 26dB 정도이면 등화기는 안정적으로 수렴한다. 둘째 세그먼트 동기 복원을 세그먼트 싱크 필터(Segment Sync:+1, +1. -1, -1)를 사용했을 때 짧은 시간 지연 에코와 긴 시간 지연 에코에 대해 S 커브를 보면 짧은 시간 지연에코에서는 심볼 타이밍이 어긋났으며 긴 시간 지연 에로에서는 문제가 없이 타이밍 동기가 된다. 셋째 짧은 시간 지연 에코신호가 있을 때 세그먼트 동기 복원과 등화기를 연동한 전산 모의 실험을 하여 에코의 영향을 분석하고 FSE(Fractionally Spaced Equalizer) 등화기 사용에 따른 장점을 분석한다.

A Density Functional Theory Study on a Series of Functionalized Metal-Organic Frameworks (작용기를 치환한 Metal-Organic Frameworks 에 대한 DFT 연구)

  • In order to find out rational design and synthetic strategies toward efficient hydrogen storage materials, we performed quantum mechanical calculations on a series of the Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) containing functionalized organic linkers. Based on the shape of frontier orbitals and the electrostatic potential map of various MOFs from density functional theory calculations, it was found that the delocalization of electron and asymmetric polarization of the organic linker play an important role in the hydrogen storage capacity of Metal-Organic Frameworks. The prediction of the modeling study could be supported by the hydrogen adsorption experiments using MOF-5 and amine substituted MOF-5, which showed more enhanced hydrogen storage capacity of amine substituted MOF-5 compared with that of MOF-5.

  • In this study, disk type of thermal barrier coating system for gas turbine blade was isothermally aged in the furnace changing exposure time and temperature. The aging conditions that delamination occurs were determined by the extensive microscopic analyses and bond tests for each aging condition. The delamination map was drawn from the time-temperature matrix form which summarize the delamination conditions. Finally, a method to draw the delamination life diagram of a thermal barrier coating system by using the delamination map was suggested.

Effect of Sodium Hydroxide Treatment on Nutritive Value of Pelleted Rye Hay (호밀건초 Pellet 조제시 NaOH 처리가 사료가치에 미치는 효과)

  • This syudy was conducted to increase the utility of forage rye which are suitable to be cultivated at high altitude Taekwllyong area. For that purpose two cultivars of rye (winter-more, kool-glazer) were cultivated for 3years using a randomized block design with 3 replications. The dry matter digestibility (DMD) was evaluated with the pelleted rye hay produced by adding sodium hydroxide and then the TDN value was calculated by the DMD. By adding NaOH, DMD and TDN value of rye pellets (Y=46.92+ 1.8X, ~ 0 . 9 7 )w ere increased significantly (p<0.05) and NDF (neutral detergent fiber) decrease significantly. However, ADF (acid detergent fiber) and lignin did not significantly decrease (p<0.05). Rye could be cultivated as a second crop after com at high altitude area in the same year and pelleted with NaOH in order to increase the nutritive values (p< 0.05).   • 본 논문에서는 Local Binary Pattern(LBP)과 Top-N Block Matching을 조합한 얼굴 인식 방법을 제안한다. 실제 상황에서 촬영된 얼굴영상에는 다양한 조명의 변화와 부분적인 가려짐의 영향을 크게 받기 때문에 실제 상황에서의 적용에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 기존의 LBP만을 이용한 얼굴 인식 방법은 좋은 성능을 보여주지 못한다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 LBP와 Top-N Block Matching을 조합한 얼굴 인식 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 얼굴 인식 방법이 기존의 LBP만을 사용한 얼굴 인식에 비해서 PF07 Database에서 약 7%의 성능향상이 이루어졌음을 실험을 통해서 보여주고 있다.

Adipocyte Cellularity of Abdominal Fat Pad in the Farmed Korean Ring-necked Pheasants and Broiler Chicken (한국꿩과 육계의 복부지방 세포 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Abdominal fat pad from farmed Korean ring-necked pheasants that had scanty fat depot was characterized in terms of adipocyte size as determined by free fat cells liberated by collagenase incubation. Similar parameters was also measured in the broiler chicken with similar body weight to those of pheasants. The adipocyte from pheasants was much smaller than that of broiler chicken. The results of this study suggested that the scanty development of abdominal fat pad in the pheasants appeared to be due to a smaller size of adipocyte.
