  • 최근 인터넷 사용자의 급속한 증가와 함께 정보 표현 방식도 실세계와 유사한 3차원 공간으로 바뀌고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 개발된 수화 편집기와 수화학습 시스템에서의 수화 동작의 편집 및 수화 학습의 효율을 높이기 위하여 frame 단위의 동작처리를 action 단위로 바꾸어 처리하도록 개선하였다. 개선된 수화 편집기와 수화학습 시스템은 VRML 뷰어와 애플릿간의 자료 이동이 줄어들어 처리 속도의 향상을 가져왔고 자연스러운 수화 동작 구현이 가능하게 되었다.

Students' attitudes toward learning proofs and learning proofs with GSP (증명학습에 대한 학생들의 성향과 GSP를 활용한 증명학습)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate what attitudes students have toward learning proofs and what difficulties they have in learning proofs, and to examine how the use of dynamic geometry software, the Geometer's Sketchpad, helps students' proof learning. The study involved 117 9th graders in 2 high schools. According to questionnaire data, over 50 percent of the total respondents(116) indicated negative attitudes toward learning proofs, on the other hand, only 16 percent of the total respondents indicated positive attitudes toward the learning. Memorizing and remembering many kinds of theorems, definitions, and postulates to use in proving statements was the most difficult part in learning proofs, which the largest proportion of the total respondents indicated. The study found that the use of the Geometer's Sketchpad played positive roles in developing students' understanding of proofs and stimulating students' interests in learning proofs.

Skemp's concept development of underachievers' analytic geometry using the exploratory software, GSP & Excel (탐구형 소프트웨어를 활용한 해석기하에서 학습부진학생들의 개념형성에 관한 연구: 관계적.도구적 이해를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine How the exploratory activities using Excel and GSP which are exploratory software, in learning analytic geometry affected on the underachievers' analytic geometry concept development process. The subjects of 5 students who received the 8th~9th grades from their examination of the last semester, participated in a total of 7 units based on Skemp's intelligent learning model. The results of the study showed that there were two important cases found to nearly achieve the category $R_2$. One was reflective thinking could happen through exploratory software in category $R_1$. The other was the exploratory activities which could have the same effectiveness as the relational understanding in category $I_2$, as Skemp mentioned that there is a room to be achieved in the elementary level when such relational understanding is achieved.

  • The k-Nearest Neighbor classifier that does not require a training phase is appropriate for a variable number of classes problem like face recognition, Recently distance metric learning methods that is trained with a given data set have reported the significant improvement of the kNN classifier. However, the performance of a distance metric learning method is variable for each application, In this paper, we focus on the face recognition and compare the performance of the state-of-the-art distance metric learning methods, Our experimental results on the public face databases demonstrate that the Mahalanobis distance metric based on PCA is still competitive with respect to both performance and time complexity in face recognition.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new pattern classifier which is based on the learning algorithm of Extreme Learning Machine the sort of artificial neural networks and fuzzy set theory which is well known as being robust to noise. The learning algorithm used in Extreme Learning Machine is faster than the conventional artificial neural networks. The key advantage of Extreme Learning Machine is the generalization ability for regression problem and classification problem. In order to evaluate the classification ability of the proposed pattern classifier, we make experiments with several machine learning data sets.

  • 일반적으로 기계학습은 교사신호의 유무에 따라 교사학습과 비교사학습, 그리고 간접교사에 의한 강화학습으로 분류할 수 있다. 강화학습이란 용어는 원래 실험 심리학에서 동물의 학습방법 연구에서 비롯되었으나, 최근에는 공학 특히 인공생명분야에서 뉴럴 네트워크의 학습 알고리즘으로 많은 관심을 끌고 있다. 강화학습은 제어기 또는 에이전트의 행동에 대한 보상을 최대화하는 상태-행동 규칙이나 행동발생 전략을 찾아내는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 최근 많이 연구되고 있는 강화학습의 방법과 연구동향을 소개하고, 특히 인공생명 연구에 있어서 강하학습의 중요성을 역설한다.

  • 딥러닝의 발달로 기계번역, 대화 시스템 등의 자연언어처리 분야가 크게 발전하였다. 딥러닝 모델의 성능을 향상시키기 위해서는 많은 데이터가 필요하다. 그러나 많은 데이터를 수집하기 위해서는 많은 시간과 노력이 소요된다. 본 연구에서는 이미지 생성 모델로 좋은 성능을 보이고 있는 생성적 적대 네트워크(Generative adverasarial network)를 문장 생성에 적용해본다. 본 연구에서는 긍/부정 조건에 따른 문장을 자동 생성하기 위해 SeqGAN 모델을 수정하여 사용한다. 그리고 분류기를 포함한 SeqGAN이 긍/부정 감성인식 학습데이터를 자동 생성할 수 있는지 실험한다. 실험을 수행한 결과, 분류기를 포함한 SeqGAN 모델이 생성한 문장과 학습데이터를 혼용하여 학습할 경우 실제 학습데이터만 학습 시킨 경우보다 좋은 정확도를 보였다.

  • 미래의 지식기반사회를 준비하기 위한 컴퓨터 교육이 나아가야할 방향은 컴퓨터 과학교육의 강조이며 또한 컴퓨터 과학교육은 프로그래밍과 알고리즘 등의 내용을 학습하고 이를 통해 컴퓨터의 기본 원리와 논리적인 사고력을 배양해야 한다는 많은 연구가 있었다. 이에 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 과학교육의 중요한 한 부분인 알고리즘을 초등 컴퓨터 교육에 적용하여 학습자가 컴퓨터 알고리즘과 알고리즘의 과정을 이해하고 더 나아가 자신만의 알고리즘을 개발하는 과정을 통해 알고리즘적 사고능력을 기를 수 있도록 학습내용을 선정, 조직하여 적용하였다. 인지발달이 구체적 조작기에 머물고 있는 학습자들의 인지수준을 고려하여 문제해결학습모형을 기반으로 하여 구체적 조작활동이 포함된 교수-학습 모형을 구안해 적용해보았다.

Performance Improvement by a Virtual Documents Technique in Text Categorization (문서분류에서 가상문서기법을 이용한 성능 향상)

  • This paper proposes a virtual relevant document technique in the teaming phase for text categorization. The method uses a simple transformation of relevant documents, i.e. making virtual documents by combining document pairs in the training set. The virtual document produced by this method has the enriched term vector space, with greater weights for the terms that co-occur in two relevant documents. The experimental results showed a significant improvement over the baseline, which proves the usefulness of the proposed method: 71% improvement on TREC-11 filtering test collection and 11% improvement on Routers-21578 test set for the topics with less than 100 relevant documents in the micro average F1. The result analysis indicates that the addition of virtual relevant documents contributes to the steady improvement of the performance.

  • Using a geometric computer program achieve learning effects as handling various function and has advantage to overcome the environment of classroom through providing an inquiring surroundings in the figure learning at an elementary school. There are many software for drawing the geometric. But currently most is focus on how to use the softwares without contents. So, It is necessary to develope a geometric software adapted cognitive development of primary schoolchildren. This study is aim to analyze elementary mathematic curriculum based on Van Heiles theory, to develope the software(Geometry for Kids : GeoKids) considering cognitive level of the primary schoolchildren. This software is developed to substitute a ruler and a compass considering cognitive level of the primary schoolchildren. Using mouse, GeoKids software help a child to draw easily lines and circles and this software notice another lines and circle automatically for a more accurate drawing figures. Children can use practically this software in connection with subjects of elementary mathematic curriculum.
