  • This study was to investigate the level of knowledge and adherence to EBP guidelines for hemodialysis among nurses in dialysis units. Self-administered questionnaire was used that data were collected. The sample consisted of 173 nurses who worked in hemodialysis units located in three different district areas in Korea. Using SPSS/WIN 20.0, t-test, ANOVA and Scheff's analysis were performed. About 98.8% of nurses in dialysis units had received education mostly from dialysis conferences or symposium. The knowledge score for EBP was 15.77 (out of 23) on average. Subjects with more than 8 years of work experience, master degree and those working in tertiary hospital showed significantly higher scores. Despite that there are internationally acknowledge evidence based guidelines for hemodialysis, the actual adherence to guidelines varies by experience, education level and types of hospital. The findings of this study can be baseline data for further research into development of strategies to enhance knowledge of hemodialysis nurses and utilization of EBP guidelines.

  • This study aims at analysing the differences on visitors' satisfactory level based-on personal lifestyles in a Korean national park. The lifestyles were classified and differences of satisfaction level among the groups were verified from a questionnaire survey in Bukhansan National Park, Korea. Lifestyles by the factor analysis, 5 factors were sorted. 4 clusters classified as the suitable clusters by clustering analysis. As a result from differences of satisfaction level on the lifestyle types, satisfaction level for each cluster has been shown to be statistically meaningful difference. Satisfaction level in active tendency cluster was the highest among the 4 cluster types(Social>Individual>Passive cluster). Satisfaction differences according to the lifestyles suggests that a fragmented approach is needed rather than an integrated approach for managing facilities and programs in Korean national park system.

A survey was carried out in coffee shops(2010, 12/6~12/20), and 175 out of 200 copies of questionnaire were returned from the coffee shops. After excluding 27 unusable cases which had an unacceptable level of missing data, 148 cases were used for analysis. The IPA showed that an attractive facade, toilet cleanliness, coffee freshness, coffee taste were included in the area of maintaining good results while coffee price was in the area of concentrating efforts, which coffee shop managers should improve. Also, the analysis using the Fishbein attitude model showed that coffee taste, an attractive facade, toilet cleanliness, and coffee freshness were in order of importance, and Starbucks, Angelinus, Caffebene, and Pascucci are in order of brand preference. Although this study has some limitations(such as self-report, common method bias), it shows significant implications to coffee shop managers.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting intention and attitude of artificial intelligence technology(AI) of university students in healthcare using UTAUT model. Participants were 278 college students and the data were collected through self-reported questionnaire from May 15 to June 14, 2016. The collected data were analyzed using PASW Statistics/AMOS 22.0. The results were as follows. The effect of expectation factor, social influence, usefulness of work, anxiety factor had a significant effect on use of AI technology Intention. Factor of expectation effect, social influence, usefulness of work, anxiety factor had a significant effect on use of AI technology. As a result of verifying the significance of the indirect effect, it can be seen that the direct effect of the anxiety factor on the attitude factor is partially mediated by the use intention factor and the intention to use was partially mediated in the direct effect of the usefulness factor of the task on the attitude factor. This result means that it is important to increase the expectation factors, social effects, and perceived usefulness through accurate information based on facts and to reduce vague anxiety in order to increase the positive intention and attitude of university students' use of AI technology.

Negative correlation was found between job stress and OHIP-14 and between job stress and subjective happiness and positive correlation was found between OHIP-14 and subjective happiness. As for the explanatory power of the independent variables affecting subjective happiness, gender, self-reported living status, self-reported general health, dental checkups, and job stress were significant variables. It is therefore necessary to run an industrial oral intervention program on a regular basis and cope positively with stress with the objective of helping workers improve their subjective happiness.
