  • The Korean domestic construction management at risk (CMAR) market is in the process of completing the pilot project execution under the leadership of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as of December 2019. The government starts practicing CMAR an alternative delivery method widely in order to diversify delivery methods and enhance construction technology. The CMAR market is thus expected to grow. This study was conducted to improve CMAR firms' capability by developing self-assessment tools for them to evaluate current capability more effectively. As a result of defining standard core capability and additional elements categorized by project execution phase and management area, and performing evaluation from the CMAR project participants, it was found that the general project management capability in the pre-design and procurement phase and quality management area was lower compared to the construction phase and other areas. In addition, the capability of cost management area was lower in spite of its high importance. Communication and coordination, process optimization, and target values achievement were at the initial level of capability and continuous improvement was required.

  • This study investigates the perception among college students on business ethics using Q methodology. The respondents are 34 business-major students attending a national university or a private university. The students are asked to choose words that, they think, would best represent business ethics. Results are as follows. First, we divide words related to business ethics into four types. and the explanatory power of type I, type II, type III and type IV are 25.72%, 10.87%, 6.49%, and 5.14% respectively, or 48.21% collectively. Type-I words are related to 'corporate social responsibility', type-II ones to 'sustainable management', type-III ones to 'integral management', and type-IV ones to 'responsible management', respectively. Results show that there is no significant difference in business ethics perceptions between the respondents from two different schools. Few of the sample students have ever taken a business ethics class before. The students perceive 'management philosophy and values', 'rules and regulations', and 'voluntary involvement of market participants in management,' as important factors to create a management environment for business ethics. In the $21^{st}$ century firms will be more sustainable by implementing business ethics. Therefore ethical management is not only a management philosophy but also a business strategy for a firm to survive.

  • Those of the growth of e-business, the development of the cultural creative industry, the contents and knowledge industry have expanded and diversified the existing business models and created new ones. They are triggering new interpretations and discussions on business models. Such of changing business environment has paved the way for the expansion of design management within the design industry and opened new windows of opportunity for the traditionally small and non-specialized design business. Until now, the design business has not been distinguished from design industry or design service, and has not been viewed as an independent field. Rather, the design business has merely been part of a process. As such, the lack of dear definition and structured system had been a bottleneck for many design companies trying to achieve capital and social success and establish the foundation for growth and for companies striving to advance the design management in developing design business models or growth strategy in line with the changing environment. Against these sort of backdrops, this paper attempts to dearly define the design business. To this end, the paper tries to developed a design business model framework which classifies design business model into four types - customized, ready-made, provider and contract - according to the business activities between the producer and the end user, and business items into product, additional sonics, knowledge and promotion. The framework will expand the definition of design business and contribute to the expansion of design business activities and the development of diverse business models.

  • Recently the Korean life-long occupational skill development system is undergoing rapid change and innovation on the basis of NCS (National Competency Standards). In order for the NCS-based occupational training system to be successfully established, it is required to be accepted and applied in the higher education. Universities, however, hesitate to adopt NCS-based contracted education programs of the work-and-study cooperative system due to low relevance of university education to industrial needs and absence of the reference operation model for the NCS-based contracted education programs considering Korean small companies' particular needs. This study aims to develop and apply a reference operation model for NCS-based contracted education programs of the university-linked work-and-study parallel system, focusing on the Department of Mechanical Design Engineering of College of Work and Study in Parallel, Koreatech. In addition, several operational guidelines are suggested within the framework of current law and regulations for successful diffusion of the NCS-based reference operation model. The results of this study are expected to contribute to nation-wide proliferation of NCS-based contracted education programs in the higher education and motivating companies and universities to participate in the work-and-study parallel initiatives.

  • This study identified factors related to the technological characteristics of conversational generative AI services and the user's task characteristics. Then, it analyzed the effects of task-technology fit on user satisfaction and continued use. The effects of trust, which represents the degree of users' belief in the information provided by generative AI, on task-technology fit, user satisfaction, and user continuance intention were also examined. A survey was conducted among users of various age groups, and 198 questionnaires were collected and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 to validate the proposed model. As a result of hypothesis testing, it was confirmed that language fluency and interactivity among technology characteristics and ambiguity among task characteristics significantly affect user satisfaction and intention to continue using via task-technology fit. However, creativity among skill characteristics and time flexibility among task characteristics did not significantly affect task-technology fit, and trust did not directly affect task-technology fit and intention to continue using, but only positively affected user satisfaction. The results of this study can provide meaningful implications for vendors who want to develop and provide conversational generative AI services or companies who want to adopt generative AI technology to improve business productivity.

As detailed tasks, it also presents fostering new markets and new industries, maintaining supply chains, and emergency support for COVID-19 to maintain the nuclear power plant ecosystem. This reflects the social public good after the recent COVID-19 incident. In order to improve the management conditions of partner companies, productivity improvement, human resources enhancement, and customized funding are being implemented as detailed tasks. This is a plan to practice win-win growth with partner companies emphasized by corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ISO 26000 while being faithful to the main job. Until now, ESG management has focused on the environmental field to cope with the catastrophe of climate change. According to KHNP is presenting a public enterprise-type model in the environmental field. In order to strengthen the future capabilities of the nuclear power plant industry as a state-of-the-art energy company, it has set tasks to attract investment from partner companies, localization and new technologies R&D, and commercialization of innovative technologies. This is an effort to develop advanced nuclear power plant technology as a concrete practical measure of eco-friendly development. Meanwhile, the EU is preparing a social taxonomy to focus on the social sector, another important axis in ESG management, following the Green Taxonomy, a classification system in the environmental sector. KHNP includes enhancing local vitality, increasing income for the underprivileged, and overcoming the COVID-19 crisis as part of its shared growth activities, which is a representative social taxonomy field. The draft social taxonomy being promoted by the EU was announced in July, and the contents promoted by KHNP are consistent with this, leading the practice of social taxonomy

  • As the number ofconnected cars grows, the security of the connected cars is becoming more important. There are also increasing warnings about the threat of attacks via the CAN bus used for in-vehicle networks. An attack can attack through a vulnerability in the CAN bus because the attacker can access the CAN bus remotely, or directly to the vehicle, without a security certificate on the vehicle, and send a malicious error message to the devices connected to the CAN bus. A large number of error messages put the devices into a 'Bus-Off' state, causing the device to stop functioning. There is a way to detect the error frame, or to manage the power of the devices related to the bus, but eventually the new standard for the CAN bus will be the fundamental solution to the problem. If new standards are adopted in the future, they will need to be studied.

  • Compared to the wide spread of convergence in government and industries there are still lack of theoretical foundation and effective methodologies to successfully implement it. Especially, there are few remarkable results on the ideal types of convergence business model (BM) in both domestic and foreign researchers. In this paper we show theoretical types, strategic alternatives, and design steps of convergence BM could be developed based on '4WH1H model' which is a conceptual framework of a BM. 4W1H model includes 5 constituents of a BM, i. e., customer value, value proposition, operation, target market, and supply capability. We derive 5 theoretical types of convergence BMs depending on the focus of innovation, i.e., value, product, operation, market, and capability. After defining the constituents and types (i.e., structural aspects) of convergence BM, we also show a BM could be linked with business strategy by defining the interaction among 5 constituents (i.e., behavioral aspects) of convergence BM.
