A Study on Intelligent Value Chain Network System based on Firms' Information (기업정보 기반 지능형 밸류체인 네트워크 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • Until recently, as we recognize the significance of sustainable growth and competitiveness of small-and-medium sized enterprises (SMEs), governmental support for tangible resources such as R&D, manpower, funds, etc. has been mainly provided. However, it is also true that the inefficiency of support systems such as underestimated or redundant support has been raised because there exist conflicting policies in terms of appropriateness, effectiveness and efficiency of business support. From the perspective of the government or a company, we believe that due to limited resources of SMEs technology development and capacity enhancement through collaboration with external sources is the basis for creating competitive advantage for companies, and also emphasize value creation activities for it. This is why value chain network analysis is necessary in order to analyze inter-company deal relationships from a series of value chains and visualize results through establishing knowledge ecosystems at the corporate level. There exist Technology Opportunity Discovery (TOD) system that provides information on relevant products or technology status of companies with patents through retrievals over patent, product, or company name, CRETOP and KISLINE which both allow to view company (financial) information and credit information, but there exists no online system that provides a list of similar (competitive) companies based on the analysis of value chain network or information on potential clients or demanders that can have business deals in future. Therefore, we focus on the "Value Chain Network System (VCNS)", a support partner for planning the corporate business strategy developed and managed by KISTI, and investigate the types of embedded network-based analysis modules, databases (D/Bs) to support them, and how to utilize the system efficiently. Further we explore the function of network visualization in intelligent value chain analysis system which becomes the core information to understand industrial structure ystem and to develop a company's new product development. In order for a company to have the competitive superiority over other companies, it is necessary to identify who are the competitors with patents or products currently being produced, and searching for similar companies or competitors by each type of industry is the key to securing competitiveness in the commercialization of the target company. In addition, transaction information, which becomes business activity between companies, plays an important role in providing information regarding potential customers when both parties enter similar fields together. Identifying a competitor at the enterprise or industry level by using a network map based on such inter-company sales information can be implemented as a core module of value chain analysis. The Value Chain Network System (VCNS) combines the concepts of value chain and industrial structure analysis with corporate information simply collected to date, so that it can grasp not only the market competition situation of individual companies but also the value chain relationship of a specific industry. Especially, it can be useful as an information analysis tool at the corporate level such as identification of industry structure, identification of competitor trends, analysis of competitors, locating suppliers (sellers) and demanders (buyers), industry trends by item, finding promising items, finding new entrants, finding core companies and items by value chain, and recognizing the patents with corresponding companies, etc. In addition, based on the objectivity and reliability of the analysis results from transaction deals information and financial data, it is expected that value chain network system will be utilized for various purposes such as information support for business evaluation, R&D decision support and mid-term or short-term demand forecasting, in particular to more than 15,000 member companies in Korea, employees in R&D service sectors government-funded research institutes and public organizations. In order to strengthen business competitiveness of companies, technology, patent and market information have been provided so far mainly by government agencies and private research-and-development service companies. This service has been presented in frames of patent analysis (mainly for rating, quantitative analysis) or market analysis (for market prediction and demand forecasting based on market reports). However, there was a limitation to solving the lack of information, which is one of the difficulties that firms in Korea often face in the stage of commercialization. In particular, it is much more difficult to obtain information about competitors and potential candidates. In this study, the real-time value chain analysis and visualization service module based on the proposed network map and the data in hands is compared with the expected market share, estimated sales volume, contact information (which implies potential suppliers for raw material / parts, and potential demanders for complete products / modules). In future research, we intend to carry out the in-depth research for further investigating the indices of competitive factors through participation of research subjects and newly developing competitive indices for competitors or substitute items, and to additively promoting with data mining techniques and algorithms for improving the performance of VCNS.

  • Plastics are comparatively new polymeric materials that are manufactured by chemical synthesis, making them different from natural materials such as wood, paper, stone, metal, and glass. Due to a wide range of properties, including processing capabilities and duration, plastics have become rapidly ubiquitous, being used in all industries, and have improved our quality of life. However, it is true that plastics cause environmental contamination problems that have become important social issues, such as environmental hormone leakage due to incineration or reclamation, difficulty in securing reclamation sites, and deadly poisonous dioxin generated by the incomplete incineration of waste plastic materials. To solve these problems, it is urgent to develop and commercialize degradable plastics that can be stably and conveniently used just as general plastics, and that are easily decomposed by sunlight, soil microbes, and heat generated from reclaimed land after use. This review presents recent worldwide trends in the development and marketing of environmentally degradable plastics.

  • Prospecting future social environmental changes and improvement research on future technologies is required for prospecting promising technology, as it would be useful for institution·company to set up technical planning. This study aims at providing a methodology for retaining international technology competitiveness, marketable industry, and sustainable promising technology in a field of new growth engine industry such as national unmanned aerial vehicle industry. We draw a result by analysing with tools such as KrKwic, Excel, NetMiner, presenting methods of a Social Network Analysis, sub-group analysis, and cognitive map analysis based on patent data in a field of unmanned aerial vehicle industry. Therefore, this study explored the technology evolution of UAV and to prospect promising technology. As a result, some future promising technologies are prospected as what worths concentrated investment, such as 'system integration tech', 'assessment/airworthiness certification tech', 'avionics', 'pilot control tech', 'identification of friend or foe', 'flight control tech', 'supportive equipment'.

  • 우리나라의 방송콘텐츠 시장은 2012년까지 연평균 성장률 3.5% 수준에 머무를 것으로 전망되고 있다. 원인으로는 콘텐츠 산업의 높은 파급효과에도 불구하고 영세한 제작환경 및 유통구조로 인해 양적/질적 측면에서의 낙후성을 벗어나지 못하는 것을 들 수 있다. 이는 경쟁 활성화를 가로막는 규제제도, 방송통신 플랫폼 사업자와 콘텐츠 제작자간 불공정 거래, 콘텐츠 제작자의 영세성 등에 기인한다. 이러한 우리 방송 환경을 고려할 때 신디케이트 도입은 성숙되지 않은 콘텐츠산업에 새로운 동력을 공급하는 계기가 될 것이다. 이러한 신디케이트 중 '온라인신디케이트'라는 것은 방송콘텐츠 유통전문기관을 설립함으로써 방송통신콘텐츠 판매창구를 개발하고, 제작사의 이익을 보장하며, 수요자에게 안정적으로 콘텐츠를 공급할 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라 국내외 시장 개척을 통해서 보다 확장된 창구화 효과를 거둘 수 있고, 현재의 변화된 방송환경에 맞추어 체계적이며 안정적인 공급과 판매를 통해서 우리나라 방송통신콘텐츠 산업 발전에 크게 이바지 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 또한 방송통신콘텐츠 제작의 활성화와 유통구조의 개선은 전 세계를 대상으로 글로벌콘텐츠를 판매할 수 있어야 함으로 국제적 유통망 구축이 필수적이라고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 온라인신디케이트는 국제적 유통망구축에 효과적이며 결국 유통과 제작, 제작과 유통이 상호간 높은 관련성을 의미한다. 향 후 프로그램의 제작은 해외의 수출시장 파악이 우선이다. 그 후 국내 프로그램의 유통 성공여부를 가름하고, 해당 국가의 유통시장을 면밀히 분석할 필요가 있으며, 필요하다면 현지 유통사 및 제작사와 협력관계를 유지할 필요가 있다. 최종적으로 성공가능성을 타진하여 현지 유통사를 인수하는 것이 위험 부담을 크기 때문에 이러한 과정을 통해서 글로벌 유통기업을 만들어야 하나, 설립은 막대한 자금이 필요하므로 이러한 '온라인 유통공사(신디케이트)의 설립'은 처음 시작해야 하는 위험 부담을 줄이는 지름길일 것이다.

A Study of the Activation Plan for the Hinterland of Busan New Port (부산항 신항 배후단지 활성화 방안에 관한 연구)

  • The ports have been confronted with rapid environmental changes. This means that it is imperative to enhance the competitiveness by resolving the chronic and difficult problems regarding Busan New Port. This paper, hence, suggests how to activate the hinterland of the New Port. The New Port was designed to become a leading logistics port in Northeast Asia and its economic ripple effect was expected to be much greater with the construction of New Port Hinterland. The government should also seek to supply the sufficient land as well as establish port clusters with various port-related industries, which enables the New Port to survive the forthcoming harsh environmental changes and meet the diverse demands. Those measures also enable the New Port to overcome the deterioration of the competitiveness and enjoy the economies of scale. The cluster-based hinterland policy framework is sure to be very efficient but should be complemented with infrastructure policies for the better policy-mix.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the current status and future prospects through the Classification of sports and ICT convergence technology for the health. Sports and ICT convergence technology could be classified into three types-sports and virtual reality, wearable devices, application and platforms. First, the application of virt ual reality technology gives a user the feeling of reality, fun, and flow through the sensing technology. And this was extended to 'Gamification' concept, gamification of the Nike Plus has become a catalyst in the spread of wea rable devices market. Second, the fastest growing sector in the wearable device area is the health and sports. Chin ese and start-up companies as well as global ICT companies is competing for expanding the pool by releasing the fitness-related wearable devices. Third, the building of platform that can utilize the health and exercise-related dat a collected through the application is expanding.

  • 외환위기 이후 IT는 우리 경제의 견인차로 인식되어 왔으나 2000년대 초두의 IT 버블 붕괴 이후 극심한 성장정체를 겪으면서 일부 학자 및 정책입안자를 중심으로 IT 역할에 대한 회의론적 시각이 제기되어 왔다. 그러나, 지난 2~3년간의 각종 경제지표를 볼 때, IT는 여전히 우리 경제에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 확인할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 미래사회에의 대응을 위해서도 IT에 대한 관심 제고가 무엇보다도 절실한 시점이라 하겠다. 특히, 스마트폰의 등장에 따라 스마트폰 환경에 최적화된 다양한 애플리케이션의 등장과 이를 이용한 모바일 서비스의 보급 확산으로 IT 기기 및 서비스 산업의 경쟁구조에 근본적인 변화가 발생하면서 IT 강국이라는 국가적 브랜드마저 위협받고 있는 시점이어서 더욱 그렇다. 스마트폰의 등장으로 국가경쟁력 결정 패턴이 노동과 자본 등 전통적인 생산요소에 기반한 개별 산업분야의 경쟁우위를 기초로 결정되던 형태에서 감성과 창의성 등 소프트 파워의 보유 정도에 따라 결정되는 형태로 전환되었다는 점에서 R&D전략에 있어서도 중요한 전환점을 맞고 있다고 보여진다. 또한, 산업사회와 정보사회에 이어 급격한 기술혁신에 따른 기술간 및 산업간 융합의 정도가 산업 전반의 경쟁구도에 영향을 미칠 것으로 대부분의 전문가들이 예견하고 있으나, 산업현장이나 기술분야에서 실제적으로 발생되는 융합의 양상은 그다지 신속하지 못한 것으로 나타나고 있다. 따라서, 기술간 및 산업간 융합촉진을 통한 전산업 경쟁력 제고를 위한 R&D 방향 모색이 필요한 시점이다. 이에 따라 본고에서는 스마트폰의 등장에 따른 IT산업의 경쟁구도 변화와 글로벌 기업들의 전략, 대응방향 등을 살펴보는 한편 IT의 전반적인 활용도 증가에 따라 더욱 가속화될 것으로 전망되는 기술간 및 산업간 융합시대에 대응한 IT R&D 방향을 살펴본다. 이는 궁극적으로 IT 강국이라는 국가적 브랜드 이미지의 고착화 전략인 동시에 IT 기반의 융합을 촉진시킴으로써 스마트한 IT Korea라는 국가적 미래비전을 달성해 나가기 위한 방향이 될 것이다.

  • A manufacturing industry has secured its competitiveness through cost reduction, research for new products, development of manufacturing technology traditionally. However, many manufacturers are being required of innovative efforts for business sustainability by emergence of new technology and industry owing to fast technology development and convergence among technologies and industries. Continuous growth can not be expected with the way of simple manufacturing and sales under the 4th industrial revolution era. Separation of service from product is getting more vague in some specific area and a service provider is often offering its own product together. Innovation destroying manufacturing value chain with servitization can only create the new value. Basic concept of servitization, paradigm change and future prospect of manufacturing industries suffering from the 4th industrial revolution will be analyzed in this paper. Also, the strategy, application and methodology for servitization required in the convergence period will be researched.

A Privacy Protection Method in Social Networks Considering Structure and Content Information (소셜 네트워크에서 구조정보와 내용정보를 고려한 프라이버시 보호 기법)

  • Recently, social network services are rapidly growing and it is estimated that this trend will continue in the future. Social network data can be published for various purposes such as statistical analysis and population studies. When data publication, however, it may disclose the personal privacy of some people, since it can be combined with external information. Therefore, a social network data holder has to remove the identifiers of persons and modify data which have the potential to disclose the privacy of the persons by combining it with external information. The utility of data is maximized when the modification of data is minimized. In this paper, we propose a privacy protection method for social network data that considers both structural and content information. Previous work did not consider content information in the social network or distorted too much structural information. We also verify the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method under various experimental conditions.

Trend Analysis of FinTech and Digital Financial Services using Text Mining (텍스트마이닝을 활용한 핀테크 및 디지털 금융 서비스 트렌드 분석)

  • Focusing on FinTech keywords, this study is analyzing newspaper articles and Twitter data by using text mining methodology in order to understand trends in the industry of domestic digital financial service. In the growth of FinTech lifecycle, the frequency analysis has been performed by four important points: Mobile Payment Service, Internet Primary Bank, Data 3 Act, MyData Businesses. Utilizing frequency analysis, which combines the keywords 'China', 'USA', and 'Future' with the 'FinTech', has been predicting the FinTech industry regarding of the current and future position. Next, sentiment analysis was conducted on Twitter to quantify consumers' expectations and concerns about FinTech services. Therefore, this study is able to share meaningful perspective in that it presented strategic directions that the government and companies can use to understanding future FinTech market by combining frequency analysis and sentiment analysis.
