디지털 기업가정신과 디지털 혁신에 미치는 영향 분석

  • 본 연구는 디지털 기업가정신과 디지털 혁신에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해 검증하는 것이 목적이다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 디지털 기업가정신에 영향을 미치는 요인을 기술 특성(디지털 기술역량), 조직 특성(디지털 학습역량, 재무 준비성), 제도적 압력(강제적 압력, 모방적 압력, 규범적 압력)으로 설정하였다. 연구모형과 연구가설을 설정하였고, 국내 104개 기업의 데이터를 이용하여 실증분석을 하였다. 실증분석 결과, 첫째, 디지털 기술역량, 디지털 학습역량, 재무 준비성, 제도적 압력은 디지털 기업가정신에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 디지털 기업가정신은 디지털 혁신에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 4차 산업혁명과 디지털 전환 시대에 디지털 기업가정신을 통해 디지털 혁신을 이룰 수 있는 기업의 전략적 시사점을 제공할 것이다.

The Impact of Organizational Competencies on the Performance of R&D Management Agencies in Korea (연구관리기관의 역량이 성과에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • This paper aims to explore the relationship between organizational competencies and performance by analysing perception survey data of R&D management agencies in Korea. The regression analysis results show the perceived performance measured by policy contribution and R&D management efficiency may be enhanced by organizational competencies such as professionalism and efficiency of R&D management specialized agencies. The paper suggests several improvement measures for strengthening professionalism of R&D management agencies in Korea. First, expertise competencies for strategic planning, management, evaluation need to be empowered in the whole process of R&D cycles. Second, in order to stabilize financial resources of R&D management specialized agencies, the existing R&D budget for Planing, Evaluation and Management should be reformed. Third, R&D management specialized agencies need setting up special organizations for managing inter-organizational collaboration with other R&D organizations. And the agencies should employ special experts in each position for strategic planning, management, evaluation, performance and commercialization. Finally, different R&D management procedures of each R&D management specialized agency need to be standardized in order to promote innovative R&D culture.

Effect of internal and external capabilities and activities of a company on absorptive capacity and performance (기업의 내부 및 외부역량과 활동이 흡수역량과 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Innovation is essential for the survival of a company in the fierce competitive environment of the global era of borders along with rapid technological development and changes from the environment. It is very important to secure your own competitive advantage. In this study, the relationship between internal R&D capability and organizational support as a company internal factor and external R&D capability, external knowledge search, and absorptive capability as a company external factor on performance was examined. As a result of the analysis, it was found that internal R&D capability, organizational support, and external knowledge search had a significant effect on absorptive capability, and innovation performance had a positive effect on new product performance. However, the mediating effect of absorptive capacity has not been verified, suggesting that absorptive capacity has a low correlation between innovation performance and new product performance, or that other important factors act between absorptive capacity and performance variables. The results of this study are expected to be utilized as useful guidelines when establishing R&D strategies in companies.

An Empirical Study on Venture & Inno-biz Enterprises' Technological Innovation from Resource-Based View (자원기반관점의 벤처·이노비즈기업 기술혁신성에 대한 실증 연구)

  • This study aims to investigate the effects of venture & inno-biz companies' technological innovation competences on technological performances and economic competitive advantage, using VRIO framework. The empirical data for this study were based on the technology assessment results of Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) on 3,462 venture & inno-biz companies and the following 2 years' financial data. Sample companies with technological innovation resources, such as technology management strategy(Value), differentiation of technology(Rarity), imitation difficulty of technology(Imitability) and technical organization capability(Organization), made efforts to expand their intellectual property rights, technological development and commercialization of new products, thereby ensuring technological competitive advantage. Furthermore, technological competitive advantage were proved to improve sales growth, increase in operating revenue, and financial soundness. Compared with four VRIO factors' influence on business performance, imitation difficulty of technology(Imitability) and organization technological capability(Organization) had much more influence than any other internal resources or capabilities respectively.

Task Contents, Organizational Structures and Work Relations of ICT Departments in Korean Local Governments (광역자치단체 정보화 조직 역량 분석과 발전모델 제안: 업무, 구조, 관계를 중심으로)

  • This paper explores alternative organizational models for ICT units of local governments, while analyzing the task contents, organizational structures and work relations of ICT departments in 17 Korean metropolitan provinces. We employed both quantitative and qualitative methods including in-depth interview, open-ended survey, and hard data analyses to collect a wide variety of information on organizational performance, human resource development, and task characteristics of ICT units. As strategies to enhance task contents, organizational structures and work relations of ICT departments, we suggest four ideal ICT organizational models for local governments: Relation Model, Resource Model, Curation Model and Creation Model.

The Effects of Performance Management & Application Capabilities and Activities on Technology Transfer from Public Research Institutes in Korea (공공연구기관의 성과관리.활용 역량 및 활동이 기술이전 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently, R&D policy has importantly emphasized the creation of economic values added through the research performance developed by public research institutes. However, the research performance hasn't been still used and diffused effectively in Korea (Republic of Korea). This empirical study analyzes the effects of performance management & application capabilities and activities on technology transfer from public research institutes in Korea. Our dataset consists of total 84 Korean universities and government-funded research institutes in 2011. Performance management & application capabilities include dedicated organization, researcher-to-professional ratio, technology transfer and commercialization budget, and performance management & application activities include regular conduct of 3P analysis, pre-adjustment, post-management. The results show that performance management & application capabilities (except researcher-to-professional ratio) and activities are positively related to technology transfer. The results of this study contribute to the establishment of R&D policy to promote management & application of the research performance.

The Impact of Digital Leadership, Dynamic Digital Capabilities and Organization Acceptance Intention on Business Digital Transformation (디지털 리더십과 동적 디지털 역량, 조직의 수용의도가 디지털 전환 수준에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate various factors affecting the relationship between digital leadership and digital transformation in companies. In particular, focusing on the mediating effect of dynamic digital capabilities that quickly sensing and seizing advanced and convergent digital technologies and apply them to the organization, this study also intends to examine the moderating effect of the organization's acceptance intention. The hypotheses were verified with a sample of 258 copies of data collected by conducting a survey on companies participating in mini-clusters in industrial complexes nationwide. As a result of the study, dynamic digital capabilities showed a significant mediating effect in the relationship between digital leadership and digital transformation, and the effect of dynamic digital capabilities on the level of digital transformation differed according to the organization's digital acceptance intention. This study presented a new concept and measurement items of digital dynamic capabilities, and how to consider digital leadership, dynamic digital capabilities and acceptance level of organization when promoting digital transformation in companies.

Effect of Dental Technician's Individual Competency on Organizational Commitment (치과기공사의 개인역량이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze dental technician's individual competency and organizational commitment level and to examine its correlation. 200 dental technicians in Seoul, Incheon, and Chunchungnamdo area were selected. Survey was carried out from April 28, 2012 to May 25, 2012 by using self-administered questionnaire. As for the tools for this study, the structured questionnaire was used with its proven reliability and feasibility, and the contents of questionnaire consisted of 46 questions on the basis of related references. The subjects completed questionnaire regarding general characteristics, individual competency and organizational commitment. The data analysis was processed by computerized system with SPSS 18.0. Statistical analysis techniques included frequency, percentage, T-test, F-test analysis and regression analysis. As a result of analyzing the research subjects' individual competency level, there was significant difference in the item of age, marital status, residence area, carrier, job position, education(P<0.05). The average in the individual competency was indicated to be high with 3.68. As a result of analyzing the research subjects' organizational commitment level, there was difference in the item of gender, age, marital status, residence area, carrier, job position, education(P<0.05). The average of organizational commitment was indicated to be high with 3.46. Correlation between individual competency and organizational commitment, most of variables were indicated to have correlation, thereby having been shown that the more individual competency leads to the more organizational commitment.

A Study on the Factors Influencing Technology Innovation Capability on the Knowledge Management Performance of the Company: Focused on Government Small and Medium Venture Business R&D Business (기술혁신역량이 기업의 지식경영성과에 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 정부 중소벤처기업 R&D사업을 중심으로)

  • Due to the recent mid- to long-term slump and falling growth rates in the global economy, interest in organizational structures that create new products or services as a new alternative to survive and develop in an opaque environment both internally and externally, and enhance organizational sustainability through changes in production methods and business innovation is increasing day by day. In this atmosphere, we agree that the growth of small and medium-sized venture companies has a significant impact on the national economy, and various efforts are being made to enhance the technological innovation capabilities of the members so that these small and medium-sized venture companies can enhance and sustain their performance. The purpose of this study is also to investigate how the technological innovation capabilities of small and medium-sized venture companies correlate with the performance of knowledge management and to analyze the role of network capabilities to organize the strategic activities of enterprise to obtain the resources and organizational capabilities to be used for value creation from external networks. In other words, research was conducted on the impact of technological innovation capabilities of small and medium venture companies on knowledge management performance by using network capabilities as parameters. Therefore, in this study, we would like to verify the hypothesis that innovation capabilities will have a positive impact on knowledge management performance by using network capabilities of small and medium venture companies. Economic activities based on technological innovation capabilities should respond quickly to new changes in an environment where uncertainty has increased, and lead to macro-economic growth and development as well as overcoming long-term economic downturns so that they can become the nation's new growth engine as well as sustainable growth and survival of the organization. In addition, this study was conducted by setting the most important knowledge management performance within the organization as a dependent variable. As a result, R&D and learning capabilities among technological innovation capabilities have no impact on financial performance. In contrast, it was shown that corporate innovation activities have a positive impact on both financial and non-financial performance. The fact that non-financial factors such as quality and productivity improvement are identified in the management of small and medium-sized venture companies utilizing their technological innovation capabilities is contrary to a number of studies by those corporate innovation activities affect financial performance during prior research. The reason for this result is that research companies have been out of start-up companies for more than seven years, but sales are less than 10 billion won, and unlike start-up companies, R&D and learning capabilities have more positive effects on intangible non-financial performance than financial performance. Corporate innovation activities have been shown to have a positive (+) impact on both financial and non-financial performance, while R&D and learning capabilities have a positive (+) impact on financial performance by parameters of network capability. Corporate innovation activities have been shown to have no impact on both financial and non-financial performance, and R&D and learning capabilities have no impact on non-financial performance. It could be seen that the parameter effects of network competency are limited to when R&D and learning competencies are derived from quantitative financial performance.   • 본 연구는 기술사업화 역량과 외부기술획득활동이 신제품개발성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구이다. 최근의 기술창업기업은 기존 조직 내부의 기술들 이외에 외부의 다양한 기술들을 들여와 기존 기술과 융 복합하여 기술 사업화를 도모하여 치열한 글로벌 경제 환경 속에서 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해 노력하고 있다. 정책적으로도 글로벌 경쟁력과 첨단기술을 갖춘 중소 벤처기업 육성 안이 대거 포함되어 기술기반의 기술창업기업을 창출하고 육성하여 기술사업화를 촉진하고 있다. 이와 더불어 기술사업화의 핵심적 요소로 간주되고 있는 기술사업화역량 및 외부기술획득활동은 여러 측면에서 연구되고 있다. 따라서 현 시점에서 기술기반의 기술창업기업의 창출과 지속적인 성장을 위해 기술사업화 역량과 외부기술획득활동이 신제품개발 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증함으로써 궁극적으로 기술창업기업의 신제품개발성과 향상을 위하여 어떤 노력을 해야 하는가를 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 기술창업기업을 대상으로 자료를 수집, 실증분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과는 향후 기술기반의 기술창업 기업의 기술사업화 역량과 외부기술획득활동이 신제품개발성과 향상을 위한 시사점을 제공할 뿐만 아니라 성공적인 기술사업화에 미치는 효과에 대한 연구 확산에도 기여할 수 있을 것이라고 판단된다.
