A study on influence of pre-service early childhood teacher's achievement motivation and social intelligence on their social problem solving ability (예비유아교사의 성취동기와 사회지능이 사회문제해결력에 미치는 영향력 분석)

  • This study analyzed the relationship between the achievement motivation and social intelligence in pre-service early childhood teachers and their achievement motivation and social intelligence. The achievement motivation Inventory for pre-service early childhood teachers (Song, 2004), the social intelligence questionnaire (Han, 2011) and the Children's social problem solving ability scale (Huh, 1999) were administered to 193 pre-service early childhood teachers. The data underwent Pearson correlation analysis using the SPSS 21.0 program. The results of this study were as follows. First, there were significant positive relationships among the achievement motivation, social intelligence, and social problem solving ability. Second, the achievement motivation and social intelligence was an important factor for predicting the social problem solving ability of pre-service early childhood teachers.

  • 21세기 정보화 세계화 사회에서 창의적이고 자율적인 인간양성을 위한 교육개혁으로 창의적 인재양성, 자기주도적 학습능력 배양이 강조되어지고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 제주지역 농어촌의 경우 인구 집중이 도시로 이루어지면서 농어촌의 인구가 감소되어지고 그러한 결과로 소규모 학교는 통폐합이되면서 교육여건은 악화되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 제주지역 농어촌 교육문제를 해소하여 학생들의 이농현상을 줄일 수 있으며, 창의적이고 자기주도적인 학습 능력을 배양할 수 있는 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 느끼게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 도시와 농어촌의 서로 다른 교육여건에 기반하여 교육내용을 특성화함으로써 제주지역 농어촌 학생의 창의적 문제해결력 향상을 위한 통섭적 활동 모형과 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 이론적 고찰을 하였다. 도시와 농어촌의 학력격차를 해소하기 위해서는 농어촌 학생에게 적절한 교육내용과 활동으로 재편성하여 가르칠 필요가 있다. 특히 제주도는 농촌과 어촌, 도시형이 특별히 구분되어지는 것이 아니라 하나의 통합된 생활문화의 특징을 가지고 있다. 앞으로 본 연구의 이론적 고찰을 바탕으로 제주지역 농어촌 학생들의 일상적인 생활환경에서 접하게 되는 다양한 활동 속에서 창의적으로 문제해결을 할 수 있도록 통섭적 활동 모형과 프로그램을 개발하여 적용하게 되면 학생의 역량을 강화시키고 잠재해 있는 창의적 문제해결력을 개발하여 학력향상에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

  • This study applies simulation-based education and care for acute myocardial infarction nursing students to investigate the effect of critical thinking, problem solving, and academic achievement of a single group before and after the raw experimental design. A total of 137 subjects were arbitration period September-October 2011, enforcement and arbitration were evaluated after simulation-based training six weeks total. Data analysis was performed using SPSS Win17.0, Paired t-test, the mean and standard deviation, Pearson's correlation coefficient was used. Research results of simulation-based training program to improve critical thinking, problem solving, and academic achievement were As increase critical thinking and problem solving ability was improved. whereas, Critical thinking skills and problem solving ability was no significant difference with academic achievement. Simulation-based training program to improve the practical skills of nursing students learning was found how useful it, that there is a need to take advantage of hands-on training in a variety of cases that can be common in the field of clinical scenarios developed by. To do this, It seems to be necessary to the development and operation more varied and appropriate hands-on training method.

The Relations of Metacognition, Learning Flow and Problem Solving Ability of Online Classes in Nursing Students (일 지역 간호대학생의 온라인 수업에서 메타인지, 학습몰입, 문제해결력 관계)

  • This is a narrative research study conducted on the subject in order to understand the relationship between the meta-cognition, learning flow, and problem solving ability of nursing students in online class, and to find out the factors that influence problem solving ability, 88 students enrolled in 2nd and 3rd grade students who participated in online classes at G city universities. The analysis method was analyzed by means, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS version WIN 23.0. As a result of the study, the difference between learning flow and problem-solving ability according to general characteristics was significantly different depending on the perception of nurses after learning and the motivation for admission to the department of nursing, and the problem-solving ability was positively correlated with metacognition and learning flow. There was a relationship, and metacognition and learning flow were significant variables that influenced problem solving ability. The conclusion of the study is considered to be the basic data for the development of a systematic program that can increase the learning flow and meta-cognition to increase problem solving ability amid the change from nursing education to online classes, and to change the teaching method.

  • 정보화된 미래사회를 준비하기 위하여, 우리나라에서는 실과의 한 영역과 학교재량시간을 통하여 컴퓨터 교육을 하고 있다. 그러나 실과 교육과정은 지나치게 기능 위주의 내용으로 되어있고, 학교 재량시간을 이용한 컴퓨터 교육에서는 타자연습이나 컴퓨터 활용교육만을 강조하고 있다. 이러한 교육은 컴퓨터와 친숙해지는 데는 도움을 줄 수 있지만, 고차원적인 사고력을 지닌 학생을 교육하는 데는 도움이 되지 못한다. 특별히 컴퓨터의 무한한 사용 가능성을 이용하여 창의적 문제 해결력을 기르는 교육은 매우 필요하다 하겠다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 문제 해결 능력 교육, 즉 문제 상황이 주어지고 이것을 해결하는 프로그래밍 교육이 매우 유용하나, 지금까지의 프로그래밍 교육은 지나치게 언어 기술교육에 초점을 두고, 단순 반복과 암기, 아동의 발달단계를 고려하지 않음으로 인해 오히려 창의성을 해치고 학습의 흥미도를 저하시켜왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학생들 수준에 맞춰 구체적인 결과물이 보이고, 쉽고 흥미롭게 학습할 수 있는 프로그래밍 교육과정을 개발하기 위해 'LED 소자를 이용한 프로그래밍 교육 방안'을 설계하였다. 본 연구를 통하여서 초등학교 학생들이 쉽고 재미있게 프로그래밍에 접근하고, 고차원적인 문제 해결력을 기르는 컴퓨터 교육과정의 한 모델을 제시하였다.

  • The Ministry of Education (2015) announced the "2015 Revised Curriculum for Elementary and Secondary Schools" and announced that SW (Software) training for elementary and junior high school students to develop Computational Thinking will be gradually introduced from 2018. In addition, 'problem solving' and 'programming' have become important areas. Furthermore, the ability to analyze and utilize big data is becoming more emphasized. We developed and applied the statistical - Python programming convergence curriculum based on the idea that convergence education combining information and mathematics, programming and statistical literacy is needed according to current trends. Before and after the experiment, problem solving ability test and programming / mathematical interest test were conducted and compared with the corresponding sample t-test. According to the analysis results, there were significant differences in the pre- and post-test on problem solving ability, programming interest and mathematical interest at the significance level of 0.05.

  • 초등학생 프로그래밍 교육은 프로그래밍 활동을 통해 논리적 사고력과 문제 해결력을 신장시키는 데 의의를 두고 다양한 프로그래밍 교육 방법과 학습 시스템을 개발하려는 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 프로그래밍 교육의 목표가 프로그래밍적 사고력 함양이라면 프로그래밍적 사고를 언어로 표현하여 실제로 프로그램을 작성할 수 있는 프로그래밍 언어 사용 능력 함양도 필요하다. 초등학생 프로그래밍 언어 학습은 특정 언어의 문법적 설명과 해석을 지양하고 프로그래밍 언어에 대한 올바른 개념 이해와 활용을 통해 프로그램을 구현하는데 필요한 기초 소양 능력 함양에 중점을 두어야 한다. 따라서 초등학생을 위한 프로그래밍 언어 교육 방법의 체계화에 기여할 수 있는 하나의 모델로서, 프로그래밍 언어의 기본적인 개념 중 함수 개념을 효과적으로 지도할 수 있는 지도 원리와 학습 모형을 연구하였고, 함수가 가진 특성 즉 함수적 사고과정을 이용하여 프로그래밍 언어 기술 능력과 논리적 사고력 및 문제해결력의 고등인지기술 능력을 함께 신장시킬 수 있는 지도 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

The changes of Students through Technological problem solving Hands-on Activity in Technology Education of Middle School (중학교 기술교육에서 기술적 문제해결 체험활동을 통해 나타나는 학생들의 변화)

  • This study is aimed at exploring the educational meaning of cooperative hands-on activity in the technology subject from the perspective of a student who is an education consumer. For this purpose, this study selected 12 first year student of a middle school located at G City of Gyeonggi-do Province as research participants through purposeful sampling, and conducted an in-depth interview and group discussion based on stimulated recall questionary techniques. This study utilized area analysis, classification analysis and component analysis as a data analysis method, and secured the verity of the research through the examination between research participants and triangulation. As a result of this research work, it was found that the cooperative hands-on class in the technology subject had the meaning of 'Space between a burden and excitement about the technical making', 'Clue and ignition point of technological problem solving', and 'Self-discovery through Technical capability'. To be more concrete, 'Space between a burden and excitement about the technical making' means that students, whose usual school record is excellent, felt great psychological burdens of performance assessment, but their pre-experience and interest in 'Making' induced them to feel exhilaration of hands-on activity. 'Clue and ignition point of technological problem solving' means that students get to make much of the understanding & formation of the relationship with teammates in the process of resolving an unfamiliar hands-on activity task and to have the continuous problem-solving ability. 'Self-discovery through Technical capability' means that students get to realize the importance of learning experience of one's own making through hands-on activity learning, which could be the opportunity to meet the operant demands of the inner side. This study hopes that such results could be utilized as the basic data needed for designing the hands-on activity education in the technology subject more meaningfully and systematically for the time to come.

  • This paper describes the effects of Novel Engineering(NE) on improvement of creative problem-solving abilities. We performed two classes for control and experience group. They are all 5th grade students. Core concept of the NE lesson is ecosystem and interaction with 8 hours long. We designed a lesson able to integrate subjects like Korean, Science and Practical Arts. Then we performed pre-and-post t-test on creative problem-solving ability. The experimental results showed that NE lesson has a high effects on 4 sub-elements like self conviction and independence, diffusion thinking, critical thinking and motivational component. The research showed that NE class is a good teaching-learning method to cultivate various competencies for our children. NE is a convergence learning model integrating various problem-solving paradigms ever researched. Thus we expect that NE is a foundation for convergence curriculum model to lead our children to their future and get settled to all schools.

  • The main purpose of STEM education is to understand methods of inquiry in each discipline to develop convergent problem solving skills. To do this, we must first understand the problem-solving process that is regarded as an essential component of each discipline. The purposes of this study is to understand the relationship between the problem solving in science (S), engineering (E), mathematics (M), and computational thinking (CT) based on the comparative analysis of problem solving processes in each SEM discipline. To do so, first, the problem solving process of each SEM and CT discipline is compared and analyzed, and their commonalities and differences are described. Next, we divided the CT into the instrumental and thinking skill aspects and describe how CT's problem solving process differs from SEM's. Finally we suggest a model to explain the relationship between SEM and CT problem solving process. This study shows how SEM and CT can be converged as a problem solving process.
