Korean construction companies has maintained stable market share based on high technology and cost competitiveness although international construction market has been stalled due to increasingly global economy uncertainties. In order to promote the continuous growth and development of overseas construction, Korean construction companies need to secure overseas market information, and to be strongly competitive. Therefore, this study aims to analysis of competitiveness for international construction by business types, in order to enter the Vietnamese infrastructure market, which presents abundant development potential. According to the IPA results, Korean construction industry has weaknesses in its ability to obtain business information and experience, which are the most important factors in entering the overseas construction market, and also presents a lack of feasibility study for creating new construction business. However, this work is still considered to provide the basic data that can help Korean construction companies who plan to enter the Vietnamese infrastructure market strengthen their medium and long-term capabilities.

This paper attempts to find out implications based on the comparative analysis of overseas expansion model between the Korean insurance companies and the German one. There are three types of the strategies of the overseas-expansion-model of insurer, i.e. customer-oriented localized strategy, niche market-oriented strategy, and growing market-oriented strategy. From the review of related literatures and through an interview conducted by the insurance specialist, the findings are some differences between Korean and German insurance companies, when they go into foreign insurance markets. Th significant differences between Korean and German insurers are a customer oriented localized strategy and niche market oriented strategy. The Korean insurer shows a strength on the overseas-expansion-strategy, but the most clients of the Korean insurer on overseas markets are also Korean companies and Korean immigrants. The Korean legal expenses insurance market is yet in its embryonic stage, while the German legal expenses insurance company is pushing ahead with a strategy focused on localization and niche market on the legal expenses insurance product. In conclusion, like a case of the German legal expenses insurance company, the Korean insurer needs a customer oriented localized strategy as well as a niche market oriented strategy on the overseas insurance market.

Technology Security, especially in knowledge-intensive society, is becoming the most important organizational activity for the long-term success of a firm. However, there is not sufficient empirical research of activities of technology securities and business performance. This is one of the reason why Korean firms are reluctant to invest their resources to the technology security. We have tried to empirically analyze the relationship between a market and technological characteristics, which is one of the important business environmental characteristics and the activities of technology securities of Korean business firm by taking three hypotheses related to this research and investigating 209 Korean firms. According to the statistical research, results of the analyses suggest that the market and technological characteristics have positive impact on the activities of technology securities. Also the activities of technology securities have positive impact on the performance of technology security. More specifically, the results suggest that the relationship between the competitiveness of market and technological excellency and the activities of technology securities is supported statistically. But, the reverse relationship between the easiness of market entrance and the activities of technology securities is supported statistically. Also, there is no moderating effect of firm size between the relationship between a market and technological characteristics and the activities of technology securities. Finally, the relationship between the activities of technology securities and the risk of technology leakage is supported statistically.

기술기반사회로의 진화가 빠르게 진행되면서 경제성장에 있어 기술혁신의 중요성이 깊이 인식되어왔다. 그러나 혁신과 관련한 의사결정이 시장에만 맡겨질 경우 종종 시장실패가 일어나기 때문에 다양한 기술 혁신지원정책을 통해 공공이 개입하고 있는 실정이다. 공공의 기술혁신 지원정책이 수립, 시행되는데 있어 가장 중요한 근거는 경제적, 기술적 파급효과이며, 이에 근거할 때 공공차원의 선택과 집중이라는 문제도 합리성을 갖게 된다. 파급효과를 분석하기 위해서는 산업간 기술연관관계분석이 필수적으로 선행되어야 하며, 이와 관련하여 다수의 국내외 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 HS코드를 이용하여 산업별로 주 생산물 관련 키워드를 직접 생성하고, 특허 및 실용신안 등 지적재산권에 활용된 키워드 및 분류정보와 일치시킴으로서 지적재산권의 산업간 공유여부를 파악하는 메카니즘을 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 메카니즘을 제조업 세세분류(five-digit level)에 적용함으로서 세세분류산업간 연관관계를 제시하였다. 분석의 결과로서 부품소재산업을 중심으로 살펴볼 때 부품소재산업군과 여타산업군이 기술적으로 분절되어 있음을 확인하였다. 이 결과는 부품소재산업에서의 혁신은 부품소재산업군내에서 (비체화) 기술적 파급효과(disembodied technological spillover)를, 그리고 부품소재산업에서부터 여타 산업으로 (체화) 경제적 파급효과(embodied economic spillover)를 유발한다는 점을 시사하고 있다.

This paper analyzes the role of technology valuation in licensing, a commonly used type of transaction of technology, and reviews methods to analyze information on technology valuation for technology licensing. It contemplates the concepts, types and practical application of cost-based valuation, market-based valuation, discounted cash flow, and economic analysis. It shows that each method considers how to share profits associated with technology between licensor and licensee in a fair and reasonable manner when we apply any method to technology licensing.

국내 패키징 산업의 규모와 현황을 분석, 추정하기 위하여 산업통상자원부와 생산기술연구원(패키징기술센터)이 '2012년 패키징 산업 통계조사'를 실시하였으며, 조사 결과 국내 패키징 산업 시장 규모는 지속적인 성장세를 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2011년도 패키징 산업 매출액 규모는 총33조 4,227억원으로 추정되었고 2010년(31조 2,932억원) 대비 68% 증가하였으며, 이는 세계 패키징 시장(약 6,700억 달라 2016년까지 8,200억 달러 3% 성장률) 성장률의 2배로 빠르게 증가하는 것으로 조사되었다. 이와 관련하여 '2012년도 패키징산업 통계조사 결과'를 요약한 내용 전문을 한국생산기술연구원 패키징기술센터로부터 입수 받아 본 잡지에 게재하오니 독자 여러분의 많은 활용 바랍니다.

최근 초고속 인터넷의 발전과 더불어 영화, 게임, 음악, e-Book 등과 같은 다양한 형태의 디지털 컨텐츠 산업이 발전하고 있다. 바야흐로 21세기는 컨텐츠가 하드웨어를 지배하는 시대이며, 가치를 창출하는 시대로 변화할 것으로 전망되고 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 컨텐츠 기술 및 시장에 대한 개요를 간단히 살펴본 후, 최근에 컨텐츠의 유통과 보호 측면에서 유망 기술로 주목을 받고 있는 CDN과 DRM 기술의 동향, 그리고 컨텐츠 산업의 발전 전망을 살펴보기로 한다.
