Local Autonomy and Training of public Librarians (지방자치와 사서직 공무원 연수)

  • A public librarian is an occupation, which requires long-term. continuous training and difficult study to acquire and cultivate professional knowledge and skills. It is a necessity to achieve new knowledge, information and skills via appropriate retraining. A training system is the method which gives chances of retraining to public librarians. After examining some of the problems with the existing training system, it is apparent that the direction of training system needs to be decentralized. That is each local branch should be autonomous in terms of new training for librarians. For the method of training system, each autonomous unit would integrate the different theories to apply to the community-at-large and invite practical specialists from the local community to lecture. The training classes would be elective in that the each librarian could choose the classes he/she wants to take and give them credits for that, but the certificate for the class would also go towards completion for the required technical training. Finally, the utilization of cyber-education should be introduced, and the library association's role strengthened, to help public librarians cultivate their specialties.

  • Today us the creation of knowledge and find, accumulation and use ability is living in the knowledge base society where the base of social advancement becomes. The social members as sleep and the production where is not the consumer of knowledge, own lead whole life studying as they sleep and, they are soft and an open accident, must equip the hazard which gets information and the knowledge which are new the whole life must endeavor. From the hazard which is adapted to like this social change the education for a technical find was necessary absolutely, the education against an updated technology became essential element from the If field which changes soddenly specially. From the dissertation which it sees if in the object facing each other from IT curriculum analyzes the merit and demerit of method and the WBI and against the hereafter developmental subject for an efficient education to sleep it researches the IT industry worker and it does.

  • In the era of electronic records management, today's record management environment is rapidly evolving. Therefore, this study aims to suggest improvement plans for continuing education that allows archivists to acquire knowledge and skills in the dynamic records management environment. Thus, this study analyzed an archivist's work characteristics and proved the necessity of continuing education in a changing record management environment. Furthermore, the United States' continuing education curriculum and the United Kingdom's Archives and Records Association (ARA) were analyzed. Based on this, the researchers compared and analyzed the curriculum of continuing education locally and abroad and suggested ways to improve continuing education suitable for local records professionals.

  • Training, unlike education in holistic perspective, not only affects individual's potential of work competencies such as knowledge and technology, but also affects the job performance in organizational perspective. The effectiveness of training for civil servants who participated in mock jury trial learning of Suwon-si was verified using CIPP model. Participants valued the significance of the process of training rather than the conclusion that draws a certain solution, and based on the comparison and analysis of pre·post evaluations, the educational effect of mock trial training and its utilization at work in the future was higher than before the training, proving its effectiveness. In terms of the implications of training programs in addition to the program planner's evaluation, participant constitution in consideration of sex or employment period is needed for learning interaction among various learners, and information acquisition training on various local issues and conflict situations, as well as the combination of deliberation learning, are needed. in addition, it may be supplemented through customized conflict management raining related to pending projects for the effectiveness of training.

  • The purpose of this study to understand the meaning of nursing through core basic nursing for nursing students before clinical practice. Participants of this study were analyzed through interviews after taking the core basic nursing skills class for 3rd graders who are currently enrolled in the Department of Nursing at M University. Seventeen students were enrolled in a K-city university as a third-year student who first performed core basic nursing skills. As a result of the study, it was derived into 3 categories and 19 thematic collections. The three categories included 1. meaning of help, 2. overcoming fear, and 3. opportunity to acquire nursing skills. The conclusion was that the first core basic nursing skills before clinical practice was a time to learn the true meaning of nursing through mutual help The difficulties were overcome with repeated practice, and the acquisition of newly learned nursing skills appeared as an effective process to experience with confidence. Therefore, it can be used as a useful basic data for counseling and guidance on the adaptation of nursing students to clinical practice, and it is expected that it will be used as a useful data for successful practice application counseling.

Lexical Sophistication Features to Distinguish the English Proficiency Level Using a Discriminant Function Analysis (판별분석을 통해 살펴본 영어 능력 수준을 구별하는 어휘의 정교화 특성)

  • This study explored the lexical sophistication features to distinguish the group membership of English proficiency, using the automatic analysis program of lexical sophistication. A total of 600 essays written by 300 Korean college students were extracted from the ICNALE (International Corpus Network of Asian Learners of English) corpus and a discriminant function analysis was performed using SPSS program. Results showed that the lexical features to distinguish three groups of English proficiency are SUBTLEXUS frequency content words, age of acquisition content words, lexical decision mean reaction time function words, and hypernymy verbs. High-level Korean students used frequent content words from SUBTLEXUS corpus to a lesser degree and produced more sophisticated words that can be learned at a later age and take longer reaction time in lexical decision task, and more concrete verbs.

Topic-centered English Learning Method Using Animated Movie with Reference to Awareness of Social Issues (애니메이션을 활용한 주제 중심의 영어 학습 방안: 사회문제 인식을 중심으로)

  • This study explores the use of animation as a tool for both English learning and recognizing social problems. In addition, this study examines how topic-centered learning paired with animation affects the acquisition of English vocabulary and expressions specific to discussing social problems. To achieve these goals, the study used two animations, Zootopia and Luca, and focused specifically on discrimination and prejudice. Conversation analysis, discussion activities, and learning of vocabulary and expressions in context were conducted. To evaluate the research, pre-tests, post-tests, a questionnaire, and thinking notes containing learners' opinions were used. Pre- and post-tests were administered to determine the extent of improvement in students' vocabulary and expression learning, and they reveal a statistically significant difference between the two tests. A questionnaire and thinking notes were analyzed in order to understand learners' responses and attitudes toward the class, and the results demonstrate an overall satisfaction with this class using animation topics (81.8%). The data highlights three reasons for this satisfaction: developing an in-depth understanding of movies, enhanced awareness of social problems, and increased engagement through the use of animations. These findings highlight the importance of conducting an in-depth analysis of the targeted topic when using animation.

  • 정보 네트워크는 데이터 뿐 아니라 사물들의 연결성을 부추기고 있으며, 이에 따라 소프트웨어의 현실에 대한 영향력은 더욱 커지고 있다. 한편 로봇의 몸체(하드웨어)와 두뇌(소프트웨어)를 분리하고 네트워크를 통해 연결하는 연구개발시도가 늘어나고 있으며 이는 저가형의 경제성 있는 로봇을 개발하는 원동력이 되고 있기도 하다. 따라서 소프트웨어를 중심으로 한 로봇의 필요성, 역할 비중, 가능성은 그 어느 때 보다 크다. 이 글에서는 소프트웨어 로봇의 기능을 자동으로 확장할 수 있는 체계 구축의 가능성을 따져보고 이를 가능하게 하는 기반 기술로서 웹서비스와 시맨틱웹 기술 동향을 소개한다. 이들은 열린 웹 공간에서 서비스와 지식을 공유할 수 있는 표준 프로토콜과 지식 표현 체계를 제공한다. 이들 기술과 열린 네트워크 환경을 기반으로 스스로 지식과 서비스 수단을 습득하여 능력을 확장할 수 있는 소프트웨어 로봇을 구현할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

  • 디지털 경제시대의 급격하고 빠르게 변화하는 경영환경 가운데 e-비즈니스 기술과 인력의 확보는 국가 e-비즈니스 산업 확산과 기업 발전에 매우 중요한 요소이다. 이에 관하여 e-비즈니스 인력에 대한 직무의 정의와 이에 요구되는 역량 및 기술, 수준의 결정에 대해 e-비즈니스 산업전반에서 통용될 수 있는 기준이 시급히 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 체계적인 e-비즈니스 스킬표준(skill standard) 제시를 위해서 일본, 영국, 미국의 스킬표준과 국내환경을 벤치마킹하고 전문가 자문을 통해 e-비즈니스 스킬표준을 도출하였다. 스킬표준 프레임워크(skill framework)로서 3분야 10직종 22전문분야로 구성된 직종분류 체계를 도출하고 이에 대응하여 직종(career)에 따른 수준(level)별 e-비즈니스 연수로드맵을 도출하여 바람직한 기술습득코스(career path)를 제시하는 e-비즈니스 스킬표준을 제시하였다.

  • 논문은 리눅스를 기반으로 하여 디지털 방송 컨텐츠를 브라우징하는 기술과 서비스에 필요한 기술들을 제시하고 이를 활용한 서비스 모델을 제시한다. 사용자에게 방송 프로그램의 정보의 습득과 검색을 위해 EPG(Electronic Program Guide)를 이용하여 방송 컨텐츠를 장르와 채널 카테고리로 자동 분류한다. 각 프로그램에서 키 프레임을 추출하여 사용자에게 빠르게 탐색하게 하고 줄거리 파악을 쉽게 하였다. 비순차적인 재생 요구를 수용하기 위해 랜덤 엑세스와 컨텐츠와 추출된 키 프레임을 동기화 하여 하이라이트 모드로 재생하고 연속 재생을 할 수 있게 한다. 사용자와의 상호 작용에서 얻어진 채널과 장르 선호도 정보를 이용하여 컨텐츠를 개인의 성향에 맞게 장르와 채널별로 분류하여 개인화된 프로그램 가이드를 제공한다. 컨텐츠의 획득에서 누적된 취향에 따른 분류, 브라우징을 위한 키프레임 추출과 샷 분류를 통한 가공, Payper-View를 위한 사용정보에 이르기까지 리눅스 기반의 로컬 스토리지를 활용한 디지털 방송 브라우징 모델을 제시한다.
