Development of R&D Knowledge Management System for Science & Technology Research Institutes, which was initiated early 2001, was introduced. The project, funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, is being carried out by several R&D institutes in cooperation With implementers. The purposes of the project are: sharing knowledge about on-going research progresses and existing research results, facilitating cooperative efforts among research staff, teams, and institutes, and improving the efficiency of research project administration. The system consists of 4 components that are highly intertwined: Knowledge Portal, Knowledge Repository, Project Administration System and Groupware. This 3-year project will benefit R&D researchers, and R&D project carrying-out institutes and government project administration organization by facilitating research and development activities, and improving management efficiency, respectively.

방위산업기술보호법의 대상기관인 각 군(軍)은 방위산업기술보호 인식 및 역량 제고를 위한 방위산업기술보호 교육이 필요하다. 방위산업기술 즉 기밀기술정보, 비기밀통제기술정보, 핵심기능(CPI)에 대한 보호조치 등 군(軍) 방위력개선사업 실무절차와 관련된 특징을 고려하여 전력소요제기~운용시험평가~후속양상 구매 배치에 이르는 전(全) 단계에 방위산업기술 보호 지침에 따라 보안조치가 이루어져야 한다. 이러한 보안조치는 교육을 통해 효과가 극대화 된다. 따라서 본 연구는 각 군(軍)의 방위산업기술 보호에 관한 교육의 발전방안을 제시하는데 주안을 두었다.

Every country of the world in the 21st century is going to push forward the policy protecting their intellectual property right, and international movement to protect their intellectual right is still more strengthened. Under these situations, the firm is required to seek for more efficient methods of technology security and business management while the existence of business itself is at risk. The control of intellectual properties in business should be considered in the patent management. In the company, the industrial property right should be into one of the management resource, and its importance has great influence on the existence of the company. The information in patent data can be used for strategic planning purposes. This study systematically evaluates the patenting behaviour of sample of 27 business firms within the Korean metal industry. Utilizing the patent application data between 2000 and 2005, the relationship between these patenting management and company performance is analysed. This study showed that patent activity per employee and labor productivity are positive relationship, but patent activity per employee and firm size are negative relationship. Since a positive relationship between patenting and company performance could be shown, patent activity gains important as a instrument for R&D planning.

정보기술과 디지털 경제의 확산으로 대규모의 데이터가 생산되는 정보화시대에서 빅 데이터의 중요성이 강조되고 있으며 다양한 분야에서 이를 응용하고 있다. 빅 데이터 분석도구인 R은 통계 기반의 정보 분석을 가능하게 하는 언어와 환경이다. 본 논문에서는 R을 이용하여 기상뉴스에 나타난 기상관련 빅 데이터를 분석한다. 다양한 뉴스에서 기상 관련 데이터를 수집하고 어떠한 텍스트가 분포되어 있는지 빈도 조사를 수행한다.

Real option thinking can provide a strategic agility, especially when IT managers consider ERP investment projects. Managing financial and IT risks is critical for the success of ERP investment projects. We examine whether Korean IT managers apply the real option thinking when considering ERP investment projects. On the basis of a survey data collection, we validate hypotheses based on existing literature in IT and finance. Notably, Korean IT managers consider only volatility among financial risk variables and two important IT risk variables, namely, requirement changes and continuous training costs.

최근 정보통신기술의 발달로 인하여 디지털 전환의 발달이 활발하다. 특히나 이런 디지털 전환의 영향은 대기업에게만 주는 것이 아닌 소상공인들에게도 많은 영향을 주고 있다. 하지만 소상공인들을 대상으로 한 디지털 전환에 대한 연구는 적은 편이었기에 본 연구에서는 디지털 전환으로 인한 소상공인의 실질적인 성과가 있는가를 살펴보았다. 연구 방법으로는 보다 디지털 전환을 겪으며 소상공인들이 느꼈을 의사결정과 갈등의 현상을 파악하기 위하여 사례연구로 진행하였다. 연구 대상자로는 국내 대표 플랫폼인 N사에 디지털 전환 시스템인 스마트 스토어 개설과 라이브 커머스 등을 이용해 보고 싶었던 소상공인 여섯 팀을 섭외하여 진행하였다. 소상공인 디지털 전환을보다 면밀히 과정 기록 및 도움을 주기 위하여 경기도에 위치한 G학교 경영학 학부생들과의 협업으로 진행되었다. 연구는 총 12주 정도 소요되었고 프로그램이 끝난 후 각 소상공인 대표들과의 심층면담을 진행하였다. 본 연구에서는 소상공인들 스토어의 매출 및 고객 유입수가 모두 현저히 증가한 것으로 보여줌으로서 실질적인 성과가 있음을 보였다. 면담에서는 소상공인들이 디지털 전환은 새로운 고객 유입 및 홍보와 언제든 고객을 맞이할 수 있는 환경을 위해서는 선택이 아닌 필수라고 언급하여 정성적인 성과로 증명하였다.

The development of IT increases the importance of understanding of IT-driven ecosystems. Platform business is the representative business model in the era of innovative IT-based businesses. However, it lacks the review research that entails ecosystem perspectives from traditional disciplines in which the perspective of ecosystem had been applied. Further most of platform research have focused on the comparison between ecosystems as a whole rather than exploration on complementors in the ecosystem who are selected and survive and, in turn, contributed to maintain the ecosystem to compete with other ecosystems. The current study listed highly cited papers from economics, sociological ecology, socio-technical ecology, organization studies, and marketing research which have cumulated research on ecosystems. And the three most critical features that determine the success of complementors, which are competition, relationality, and adaptability. Present study showed how the features were explained by each perspective from the different disciplines.

기술집약적인 경제성장의 중요성이 강조되고 있는 가운데 이공계 진학과 과학기술직종선택의 감소는 성장잠재력에 가장 근본적인 위협이 된다. 이를 유지하려는 여러 가지 정책이 교육학적이나 사회학적 근거에서 제시되고 있으나 이를 분석하는 이론적 경험적 틀이 상대적으로 부족한 상태이다. 직업선택모델은 사회학적인 접근법이 활발하게 진행되었으나, 경제적 동인에 대극 분석이 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 2000년 미국 센서스 데이터에 나타난 가장 국제화된 미국의 과학기술직 사례를 통해 인적자본 모델을 기준으로 하여 기술직에 대한 기존의 연구와 비교한다. 이민의 직업선택모델의 관점에서 원주민의 경우와 비교하며, 동시에 타 직업군과 비교한다. 직업선택에서 미래소득에 대한 예측이 대체로 정확하나 실제의 선택이 다르다는 기존 논문들의 주장은 성간 차이의 문제를 제외하고는 현격하지 않다. 민족적 차이의 효과도 인적자본효과에 비해서는 크지 않다. 과학기술직은 고급 화이트칼라 직종에 비해 결혼과 교육 언어 경험면에서 저급한 직종의 특성을 보인다. 여성의 과학기술직 기피는 남성프리미엄이 높아서는 아니지만 합리적인 차별 때문으로 볼 수 있다.
