This study conducted a scale development to measure consumer's charity donation impulse based on non-conscious viewpoint. For the development of measurement tool for charity donation impulse, we conducted two stages of research process. First, the measurement items of charity donation impulse were developed through FGI and in-depth interview on experts. Secondly, the factor analysis was performed, and then some items were eliminated through this analysis. As a result, we found the final scale with 26 items, which were named as evaluation sensitivity charity impulse, reward sensitivity charity impulse, functional impulse, non-planning charity impulse. These results showed that the measurement items developed in this study were confirmed to be useful tools for measuring charity donation impulse.

  • This study was developed from the idea that giving has been interpreted exclusively as a social selection based on reasonal thinking. The purpose of the presented study was to investigate the hypothesis that giving was a habitus of citizen, based on Bourdieu theory of social setting and habitus. For that purpose, this study analyzed the secondary data from KGSS 2011 through SEM. Result revealed that the goodness of fit for the proposed structural model was high. Also, level of virtue as civizen and social participation as citizen were significantly associated with level of giving, supporting the hypothesis that giving was a hibitus of citizen.

  • Individual donors that are the social and financial base of organization finance are divided into prospect, current donors and lapsed donors. This study might be the first efforts in Korea, to reveal the characteristics and behavior of lapsed donors. We found that major reasons of giving lapse were financial inabilities and interest of other cause. However, many lapsed donors didn't give any more but moved to another nonprofit organization for donation. Moreover, their trust of ex-nonprofit organization has effected their decision to donate to other nonprofit organizations again or not. Therefore, donor services that improve donors' trust is important to maintain nonprofit sector' donor basis.

  • This research, as a study on individual donators' relationship durability with donated organizations, is carried out with the variables of individual donators' empirical satisfaction, sense of unity, familiarity, relationship quality, donation will, and loyalty. This research, based on the interrelationship among the variables effecting on donation activities, makes a relationship durability will model between donators and donated organizations through the examination of the existing studies on donation activities, and suggests the marketing points to increase the relationship of non-profit organizations based on the model. This paper examined 242 material or time donators for non-profit organizations in Seoul and Kyeonggi-Do province and proved 11 hyperses. The result shows that the donation will and loyalty for donated organizations are influenced by the relationship quality. In addition, the relationship quality of reliability and immersion seems to be influenced by the empirical satisfaction and the familiarity with donated organizations. Therefore, donated organizations need to make efforts to increase the donators' satisfaction, and to increase the familiarity between donators and donated organizations. In other words, they should increase donators' satisfaction with active promotions and they should do marketing activities to increase donators' familiarity.

The results of this research as follows: First, in demographic variables, women revealed as they donate more than men(${\beta}=.223$, p<.05). And the more the age grows, the less they donate or volunteer periodically(${\beta}=-.009$, p<.001). Second, in working conditions, paid workers showed less donate behavior than self-employment workers and economically inactive population(${\beta}=-.578$, p<.001). Third, Self-esteem(${\beta}=1.673$, p<.001)and Life satisfaction(${\beta}=1.01$, p<.001) showed significant effect on donate behavior. Lastly, scholarship of father(${\beta}=.211$, p<.001) revealed as significant on donate behavior. However, scholarship of mother did not showed significant effect. Also, the research had some limitations. First, the precision of the variables were not tested. Second, some variables to analyze were not in the data. Therefore, proper considerations on testing the precision of the variables and the method for measuring the missed variables are needed.

  • This study amis to analyze the levels of citizen inclusiveness in Korea by the 17 local government levels. Citizen inclusiveness was measured by donations, volunteering, and citizen perception indicators. This study adopted the ideal type method of fuzzyset analysis. We found that citizen inclusiveness was classified into 6 types: inclusive citizen type, inclusive citizen-oriented type, donation-oriented type, volunteering-oriented type, citizen perception-oriented type, and individual-oriented type. This study analyzed key features of these 6 ideal types of citizen inclusiveness. More research on citizen inclusiveness is needed. Trends of changes in citizen inclusiveness and key factors on citizen inclusiveness will be examples of future studies. Inclusive welfare states need both government's efforts in enhancing welfare institutions and citizens' advancement in inclusive citizenship. This study concludes with several implications for further developed citizenship for inclusiveness.

  • Corporates' participation in the social welfare activities in Korea was analyzed through literature reviews and empirical survey. Literature reviews on the previous studies were implemented to identify the corporates' motivations, methods, types and funding sources of social welfare activities. The empirical survey results show that 37% (83 firms) of respondents among 222 companies has participated in direct giving to the social welfare activities by various methods and types. The bigger amount of last fiscal year's sales, the more amount of gifts to social welfare activities. The average amount of gifts was \ one billion forty-six million per company in the monetary tenn which is 0.06% of the last FY's average sales of respondents. The most frequently implemented program of the corporates' social welfare activities was 'scholarship to unprivileged adolescent', while the program which the largest amount of gifts were donated was 'support for the social welfare agencies'. For the participation methods, most corporates implement social welfare program directly, and the rest of the companies take the methods of supporting the existing social welfare agencies and institutions. The cash benefit was salient for the modes of gift transfer. Funding sources for the gifts were various such as certain portion of the amount of sales, pretax-profits, or posttax profits, and even rare, independently established funds for the social welfare activities. Among them, a certain portion of the last FY's amount of sales was the dominant source of corporates' social welfare activities.

For this purpose, 879 adolescents were surveyed in 4 cities and counties in the northwestern part of Chungcheongnamdo. This research was carried out by T-test and ANOVA to identify the difference of donation attitude according to general characteristics and by correlation analysis of main variables. Also hierarchical regression analysis was performed to identify the mediating effect and it was verified by Sobel test. The main results are as follows. First, donation attitudes differed according to gender, school level, and religion. Second, correlation analysis revealed a positive correlation between self-esteem, donation motivation and donation attitude. Third, regression analysis showed that both intrinsic donation motivation and external donation motivation were partially mediated between self-esteem and donation attitude. Finally, policies to increase donation attitude and donation behavior were discussed.

  • This study tested whether the evaluation of moral cleansing behavior following an immoral act depends on the resources available to the wrongdoer. To this end, resource availability was manipulated by the wrongdoer's characteristics (socioeconomic status vs. physical health condition) and type of moral cleansing (donation vs. volunteer work), and participants rated the pain of the moral cleansing behavior, hypocrisy, and forgivability. Study 1 presents a scenario where a wrongdoer, either high or low in socioeconomic status, conducts moral cleansing via donation or volunteer work. Participants judged donation by those high in socioeconomic status to be not so painful, hypocritical, and unforgivable. Study 2 described a scenario in which a wrongdoer, either physically strong or weak, performs an act of moral cleansing either by donation or volunteer work. Participants considered those sickly wrongdoers' volunteer work to be painful, less hypocritical, and (compared with other conditions) more forgivable. Mediation analyses showed that in both Studies 1 and 2, pain in moral cleansing influenced the hypocrisy judgment which, in turn, affected perceived forgivability. These results indicate that, even for the same expiatory behavior, moral judgment depends on the actor's available resources. That is, people believe that moral cleansing should involve pain; otherwise, the act is hypocritical and unforgivable.
