A Study on Skin - From the Perspective of Analytical Psychology - (피부 - 분석심리학적 조명 -)

  • This thesis is an psychological study investigating the meanings of skin from the perspective of analytical psychology. Skin, as the outermost layer of our body, protects the body and carries out essential physiologic functions. It is an organ of the body and also psychological contents can be expressed on it in various forms. We can find sociocultural connotations of skin, some of which are demonstrated in our language. Skin may become a carrier of persona which defines a person's role in the society. And it can be a place where ego is expressed. Eros is the principle of relationship by Jung's definition and skin is the space where eros is realized intensely. Skin may carry meanings as a symbol of transformation. Skin disease can be interpreted as a message from Self in certain cases. The theme of casting off skin in myths and dreams can be an analogy of an individual's sacrifice for individuation, and putting on a skin may imply taking special properties in psychological level.

  • COSMOS (COntentS Making Omnipotent System)는 컴퓨터 게임이나 3차원 애니메이션 제작이 가능하도록 그래픽 랜더링, 특수효과, 물리엔진, 인공지능 엔진 등의 기능을 갖춘 범용성 3차원 콘텐츠 저작 시스템이며, 무엇보다도 직관적인 인터페이스 기능을 통해 사용자의 편리성을 제공해 준다. 본 논문은 COSMOS에서 음향 정보를 자동으로 3D 콘텐츠 구성 요소에 배합될 수 있도록 하는 기술에 대한 내용이다. 본 기술의 도입을 통해 COSMOS에서는 사용자의 의성어 소리를 인식하여, 그 의미에 적합한 디지털 사운드를 검색한 후에 사용자의 의도에 맞추어 변환하여 이와 관련된 콘텐츠 구성 요소와 일치 시켜줌으로써 보다 직관적으로 콘텐츠 저작 기능을 제공할 수 있다.

  • Film sound should be analyzed based upon the profound understanding of sound design process and the principle behind it. Lack of this knowledge prevents the research from having the comprehensiveness and concreteness. This study aims to reaffirm the important role of sound design in filmmaking while also investigating the narrative functions of sound design. The role of sound design as a cinematic technique was defined as creating audio-visual experience with a collection of information, emotion, and ideas organized and presented in the sound narrative of films. Each process of sound design, dialog, ambience, Foley, and sound effects, was proved to be performing this role as a result of a case study of various narrative films. The narrative functions of sound design was able to be defined as well.

The Meaning and Applications of Storytelling in Elementary Mathematics Education-Focused on Elementary Mathematics Textbooks (초등수학교육에서 스토리텔링의 의미와 적용 방안 -초등수학교과서를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze mathematical storytelling in Korean elementary mathematics textbooks and propose some applications for better storytelling, Storytelling strategies were introduced for enhancing students' understanding on mathematical concepts and improving students' attitudes toward mathematics. For this study, the researcher analyzed the 2nd grade mathematics textbook that employs storytelling strategies. The results are as follows. First, current storytelling textbook chapter is designed to appreciate students' intellectual autonomy. Second, current storytelling textbook chapter includes the storytelling that helps understand mathematical concepts and exercise mathematical skills. Third, current storytelling textbook chapter is designed for enhancing students' interest and helping students' character education. The researcher suggested the followings. First, a long term field-based research should be continued for more improved mathematical storytelling materials. Second, a digital format storytelling also needs to be developed as an alternative strategy of mathematical storytelling, which reinforces interactions between teller and listeners.

  • The expression 'kes' is one of the most widely used ones in the language whose uses are highly dependent upon the context. These highly-context dependent uses make it hard to determine its grammatical properties. As a way of examining the properties in a rather controlled context, this paper collects a series of speeches made by government officials and examines the grammatical properties of the expression in the corpus. In particular, the paper, based on the 539 instances of 'kes' uses extracted from the corpus, focuses on the 7 types of 'kes' constructions most widely used in the collected speech corpus.

  • It provides a three-dimensional virtual experience consisting of information presented to and perceived by the senses of the user. Recently, the advent of a virtual avatar, which mimics the appearance and behavior of humans, enable that the virtual reality (VR) can provide not only a virtual space but also a virtual society to be interact with a virtual avatar which represents humans. But, it is impossible that the user directly interacts with the VE in previous studies, though direct interactions occur in real social relationship. Therefore, In this study, we know that the cognition about a avatar when the user directly interacts with the virtual avatar in the VE. In order to investigate this purpose, we performed a fMRI study using VE that a avatar accept or reject the user's offer when the user offer his (or her) hand to a avatar. In result of questionnaire about the user's feeling by avatar's action, the user feels about avatar's acceptance action that the avatar acts positively and suitably. In contrast the user feels about avatar's rejective action that the avatar acts negatively and disapprovingly. In result of fMRI analysis, the primary visual area, the visual association area, the SMA, the premotor area, the cerebellum and etc, activate in common with the other avatar's acceptance action and rejective action. The results show that the subject recognizes not only avatars as social objects but also avatar's action as socially meaningful action. In other words, it is possible to transfer social context and emotion through avatar's action.

  • The work of design needs not only a lot of scientific information, but also a artistic sensitivity. Designers require abundant imagination to translate the information of the design, into the Gestaltung. Particularly, the translation of ergonomic information into the elements and grammar of the Gestaltung needs an interface. In order to consider the theoretical possibility for this, a view of fundamental notions, the function of design semantics and ergonomic problems in the design process were analyzed. The purpose of this study is the exploration and relevance of the theoretical model for human factors and design semantics, to see if they could be harmonized as a system of a new design method.

  • The purpose of this paper is to substantially analyse the patterns of complements considering the aspects of not only syntax but also morphology since the concept of complement has been used as a term to analyse the components of a sentence. However, it cannot be denied that there seemed to be limitations due to the partial explanation or different explanations of the same sentence. Thus, this paper aims at dealing with the close relation between sentential components and suffixes to examine the sentence patterns; subject, predicate, object, complement, and adjunct focusing on the terms of complement which has been seen problematic due to incomplete explanations and different interpretations of the same sentence. Finally, this paper synthesises various opinions of many scholars and integrates them to get explicit and practical patterns of complement of a sentence based on not only syntax but also morphology through close relation between sentential components and morphological suffixes.

So blocking Sal of the village is done for the complete solution. Furthermore, song in individual ritual, but it can be said that the function of the is extended to the role of the Maeul(village)-gut.

  • 흔희 일본을 자판기 천국이라 말하지만 더 정확이 말하면 청량음료자판기 천국이다. 캔이나 PET 병 등 다양한 용기의 청량음료를 판매하는 자판기가 무려 260만대 설치되어 있다. 이토록 많은 청량음료 자판기가 설치되어 있다 보니 사회적인 책임도 크다. 자판기의 편리성, 환경, 치안, 도난 방지 등에 있어 사회를 위해 반드시 수행해야 기능들이 있다. 이 기능들을 개별업체에 맡겨 놓기에는 무리가 있다. 기업은 아래도 영리를 중시하는 경향이 있다 보니 사회적 책임에 관계된 일은 단체에서 진행을 해야 구속력과 추진력이 생긴다. 그래서 일본에는 청량음료자판기협의회가 있다. 일본자판기 관련 4개 단체(일본자동판매기공업회, 전국청량음료공업회, 일본자동판매협회, 일본자동판매기보안장비 협회)가 사회적 책임을 위해 공동 목표를 세우고 보조를 맞추어 나간다. 최근 이 단체의 활동은 자판기의 편리성 향상, 환경대응, 안심 안전한 거리 환경 조성에 맞추어져 있다. 그들이 지향하는 사회적 책임 활동 지켜보는 것은 의미가 크다. 우리 자판기 산업의 먼 장래도일본의 전례를 따라가지 않을 수 없는 상황이 될테니까. 자판기의 비중과 역할이 증대될수록 어느 시점에서는 반드시 사회적 책임이 동반되게 마련이다. 이런 측면에서 청료음료자판기협의회 활동을 소개한다. 국내 관련 업체들도 이제 자판기의 사회적 책임 강황에 관심을 가져야 할 시점이다.
