  • NC 공작기계의 contour 운동 오차를 측정하기 위하여 사용되는 Ball-Bar에 의한 원호 보간 시험 데이터를 이용하여 NC controller의 성능을 평가 할 수 있는 S/W에 의한 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 지금까지는 분석이 어려웠던 Masrer-Slave Changeover의 분석을 가능하게 하였으며, Ball-Bar로 부터 얻어지는 데이터를 Weighted Residual Method에 의한 종합적인 분석을 하였으며, 오차 원인별 비교를 위해 Eztra Sum of Squares Method를 도입하였다. 본 연구의 실제 적용을 위한 측정 및 분석 S/W를 개발하였으며, 결과적으로 NC controller의 성능평가에 유용함을 알 수 있었다. 무부하 조건에서의 Ball-Bar에 의한 분석 데이터와의 비교를 위하여 원형 시편을 가공하고, 진원도 측정 및 분석을 통하여 유사한 오차 pattern을 가짐을 알 수 있었다.

Relationship between Near Infrared Reflectance Spectra and Mechanical Sensory Score of Commercial Brand Rice Produced in Jeonbuk (전북산 브랜드 쌀의 근적외선 분광스펙트럼과 기계적 식미치간의 상호관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess whether mechanical sensory score by Toyo Midometer can be substituted by near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) method in whole-grain milled rice samples. Toyo values of collected commercial brand rice (n=127) had comparatively wide ranges from 62.9 to 84.2 (Mean=70.5; S.D.=4.0). Calibration equation was developed using 73 samples. Standard error of calibration (SEC) for sensory score equation and $R^2$ were 0.95, and 0.94, respectively, however, percentage of variation in the reference method values (1-VR) which give a true indication of equation performance was slightly lower (1-VR=0.81) than calibration equation. It was demonstrated that, even though NIRS has potential as a rapid tools to predict rice sensory score, the prediction of sensory score in rice by NIRS needs to be further investigation on a large number of sample with different varieties and growing locations.

  • 반사경을 지지하는 데에 있어서의 기계적, 열적 변형이 광학 부품에 미치는 영향을 최소화 하도록 광학 요소를 이러한 영향으로부터 차단하는 기계 장치를 플렉셔(flexure)라고 한다. 기계적 영향은 중력, 관성, 진동에 의한 하중 및 조립 시의 오차에 의한 응력 등에 의해 발생하는 변형을 말한다. 또한 열적 영향은 열적 평형 상태와 과도 상태 하에서 주위 환경의 온도변화에 의한 변형을 말한다. 예를 들어 작은 열팽창 계수를 가진 반사경 또는 렌즈와 큰 열팽창 계수를 갖는 지지구조가 어떤 온도 하에서 조립된 후 처음 온도와 다른 온도에 놓이는 경우를 생각해 보자.   • 사출성형품의 품질특성으로 외관, 치수, 기계적 강도 등이 있으나 조립부품으로써 사 될경우에는 치수가 주요한 품질이 된다. 성형품은 용융수지의 특성상 사출공정 중 수축을 일으키므로 이를 고려해서 금형설계가 이루어지지만 실제 사출과정에서 공정변수를 최적화 하여 관리하지 않으면 허용오차 내의 치수를 얻기가 힘들다. 본 논문에서는 주요조립부의 치수가 허용오차 내에서 얻어지도록 설계시 적용된 수축률과 측정된 수축률의 차이를 목적 함수로 하여 최소화 시키며 반복이차계획 알고리즘을 채택한 IDESIGN 프로그램을 이용해 최적 사출성형조건을 구하였다. 제약조건은 성형품의 부위별 수축률 편차 및 싱크마크 깊이 가 공정변수의 부등호 제약식으로 도출되었고 성형이 이루어지는 공정변수의 상하한 값이 최대 및 최소 경계값으로 적용되었다.

Errors in One-Dimensional Heat Transfer Analysis in a Hollow Cylinder Feedwater Pipe (속이 빈 원관에서 1차원적인 열전달 해석의 오차)

  • A comparison is made of the heat loss from a hollow cylinder, computed using an one-dimensional analytic method and a two-dimensional separation of variables scheme. For a two-dimensional analysis, the temperature of the inner surface as a boundary condition can be varied along the length of the cylinder by varing the temperature variation factor, b. Comparisons of the heat loss from the hollow cylinder using these two methods are given as a function of non-dimensional cylinder length, the ratio of the outer radius to the inner radius, temperature variation factor and Biot number. The result shows that the value of the heat loss from the hollow cylinder obtained using the one-dimensional analytic method becomes close to the value given by the two-dimensional separation of variables scheme as the value of Biot number and the non-dimensional hollow cylinder length increase and as the ratio of the outer radius to the inner radius decreases.

  • Nowadays reduction of gear noise in power transmission is very important, because the noise regulation is severe and demand of customer on noise is increased. To reduce gear noise, it is necessary to understand the noise characteristics of helical gear. In this work, we designed test rig for the study of gear noise and installed in semi-anechoic chamber. By using this rig, sound pressure level is measured under varying rotational speed and torque. The frequency characteristics of helical gear noise on the effect of lead errors and torque are discussed.

  • 1) HTST공정에 적합한 공정감시 및 제어알고리즘을 개발하였고, 일련의 모든 프로그램은 G언어의 일종인 Labview 5.1을 사용하였다. 프로그램상에는 온도, 압력, 유량을 표시하는 아날로그 및 디지털 창을 마련하여 장치내부의 상태를 쉽게 파악학 수 있도록 하였다. 2) 살균온도를 9$0^{\circ}C$로 설정하였을 때 온도제어 오차는 0.05$^{\circ}C$였으며 이것은 Negiz와 Cinar(1995)의 온도제어 오차 0.22$^{\circ}C$보다 정밀한 제어가 이루어짐을 알 수 있었다. 3), 운전중 원료의 과살균을 방지하지 하기 위해 각 각의 경우에 스팀온도를 제어하였고 목표온도까지 가열하기 위한 각 유량과 초기온도별 스팀온도를 구하였다. 4) 본 연구의 이 후 과제로는 유량의 변화에 따른 홀딩튜브의 길이와 살균시간의 상관관계를 규명하여 실제 HTST공정에 적용될 수 있는 수학적 모델링을 구현해야 할 것으로 생각된다.

The Mechanical Dither Design of Navigation Guide Structure (네비게이션 가이드 구조물의 기계적 진동설계)

  • The gyroscopes have been used as a suitable inertial instrument for the navigation guidance and attitude controls. The accuracy as very sensitive sensor is limited by the lock-in region(dead band) due to the frequency coupling between two counter-propagating waves at low rotation rates. This frequency coupling gives no phase difference, and an angular increment is not detected. This problem can be overcome by mechanically dithering the gyroscope. This paper presents the design method of mechanical dither by the theoretical considerations and the verification of the theoretical equations through FEM(Finite Element Method) applications. As a result, the maximum prediction error of resonant frequency and peak dither rate was under 5 percent. The theoretical equations for the mechanical performances of dither can be said to be feasible.

  • A Kriging model is a sort of approximation model and used as a deterministic model of a computationally expensive analysis or simulation. Although it has various advantages, it is difficult to assess the accuracy of the approximated model. It is generally known that a mean square error (MSE) obtained from the kriging model can't calculate statistically exact error bounds contrary to a response surface method, and a cross validation is mainly used. But the cross validation also has many uncertainties. Moreover, the cross validation can't be used when a maximum error is required in the given region. For solving this problem, we first proposed a modified mean square error which can consider relative errors. Using the modified mean square error, we developed the strategy of adding a new sample to the place that the MSE has the maximum when the MSE is used for the assessment of the kriging model. Finally, we offer guidelines for the use of the MSE which is obtained from the kriging model. Four test problems show that the proposed strategy is a proper method which can assess the accuracy of the kriging model. Based on the results of four test problems, a convergence coefficient of 0.01 is recommended for an exact function approximation.

  • The acoustic field resulted by the radiation of sound from vibrating structure is predicted based on the sound pressure measurements. The sound pressures are measured at discreate point on the measurement plane ; Hologram. Based on these discreate measurements, the sound field away from the acoustic source is constructed based on the discreate form of Kirchhoff-Helmohltz integral equations The velocities, intensities, and pressures of arbitrary plane of interest in space are predicted and visualized The effects on the sound field reconstruction ; finite aperture effect, effect of finite sampling interval in space studied in terms of wraparound error and spatial aliasing. Numerical simulations and experimental verifications are performed to see these effects. To reduce the wraparound error, zero padding technique in space is used and the usefulness of the method is demonstrated by various examples.
