  • 자동차 디젤 분사장치의 하우징인 튜브 인젝터는 부품의 특성상 내식성, 내산화성, 강도 등을 필요로 하는 STS소재를 주로 사용하는데, 기존의 제조방법은 절삭가공이 주류를 이루었다. 그러나 생산성증대 필요성과 소재 이용률향상 및 제품의 고급화를 위하여 정밀냉간단조를 이용한 소성가공 방법이 최근에 시도되고 있다. 본 논문은 최적 정밀냉간단조 성형을 위해 유한요소법을 이용함으로써 정밀냉간 단조 공정 및 금형설계의 기초자료를 제시하였다.

Influence on Relative Electrode Wear by Material and Size of Electrode (전극의 재료와 크기가 전극소모에 미치는 영향)

  • This study has been performed to investigate REW(relative electrode wear) in condition of vari-ous pulse-on duration using the copper and graphite electrode with change of the electrode size on the heat treated STD11 which is extensively used for metallic molding steel with the EDM. The results obtained are as follows; a) Graphite has much benefits than copper electrode when rapid machining is done without electrode wear, b) Neative REW result from the electrode that is very liable attach to decomposition carbide c)Increasing of machining time cause to increase wear length of the copper electrode and decrease wear length of the graphite electorde d)The more pulse-on duration copper electrode has the less REW. e) The edge portion of the electorde wears remarkably at the beginning of machining,.

  • 오늘날 기계공업 현장에서 심공드릴가공은 광범위한 응용과 양호한 생산성으로 인하여 그 요구가 증가 되고 있다. 그러므로, 본 연구는 난삭재인 SKD11고합금공구강을 여러가지 절삭조건하에서 BTA드릴가공하여 얻은 실험결과(표면조도, 진직도, 진원도, 원통도, 구멍확대량, 등)를 다루었으며 이들의 이론적 배경과 실험을 비교 분석하였다. 프레스금형 부품과 기계부품으로 사용되고 있는 SKD11고합금공구강은 기계가공이 힘든 난삭재료로서 그 어려움이 크므로 본 연구는 생산현장에 보다 나은 심공드릴가공결과와 관련 지식을 제공 할수 있다고 사료된다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 천안시 소재 (주)삼우금형의 생산 제품인 휴대폰 충전기에 대해 CAE 프로그램인 Moldflow와 CAPA를 이용하여 유동해석과 냉각해석을 수행함으로써 성형불량을 최소화하고 좋은 설계를 얻을 수 있는 최적의 성형조건을 얻으려는 것이다. 사출성형 관련 설계를 설계초기 단계에서 CAE기술을 활용하여 합리적인 설계로 나아가기 위한 구체적인 과정을 기술하였다. 제품 성형에 있어서의 문제점을 최소화하고 재료비 절감, 설계납기 단축, 제품 품질 향상을 달성하기 위해서 CAE 해석을 통하여 현재 제품의 문제점을 도출하고 그 해결책을 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 픽업프레임의 스트립 레이아웃 도를 작성하였다. 프레스 금형에 있어서 스트립 레이아웃 도는 제품 양산을 결정하는 중요 요인이다. 장착되는 다른 부품과의 간섭요인을 용이하게 수정하기 위하여 3D CAD/CAM 시스템을 적용하였다. 블랭크 레이아웃을 최적화하고 광폭배열로 스트립 레이아웃 하여 재료 이용률을 28.49%로 향상시켰다. 사용된 3D CAD/CAM 소프트웨어는 Unigraphics NX 4.0이며 12개 공정으로 스트립 레이아웃 도를 작성하였다.

  • In injection molded parts, the ribs require more complicated mold cavities and cores. But it is necessary for the parts to attach the ribs for assembly, moldability and other functional purposes. To design them appropriately considering structural strength and injection molding, the profound knowledge that includes moldability, causal effects on the properties of the part is needed. This paper describes the design methodology which enables easy, simple, time and cost-effective design for the features.

  • Fine blanking is a high-precision process combining principles of metal stamping and cold forming. Unlike conventional metal stamping, fine blanking uses a special triple action such as V-ring force, counter force, shearing force. This study performed the effect of pocket-shaped compression molding on the mold life of the fine blanking using the 7.4mm thick SM45C material. In order to determine the lifespan of the punch and die in the fine blanking molds, a trial mold was manufactured and various punch materials were selected to perform the mold life test. A study on the life of a fine blanking mold by applying a thick plate material was experimentally performed through a mold test.

  • In this study, the simulation of the resin transfer molding process method using MoldFlow has been investigated. This work explains the thermoset material model, fabric permeability model, the flow model and the cure model. It has been shown that the simulation result can predict filling and cure performances.

  • This study was investigated the effect of heat treatment on the microstructure and hardness of internally hardened ductile cast iron roll. The following conclusions were obtained. Some of the graphite was decreased and a bainite was produced by heat treatment. It decreased due to the decomposition of some of the cementite precipitated in the as-cast by heat treatment, but there was no significant change when it reached a certain depth. Hardness increased due to formation of bainite by heat treatment. On the surface, the hardness decreased due to the decrease in the amount of transformation of cementite into bainite, but there was no change beyond a certain depth.

  • Glass-fiber reinforced polymeric composites provide the desitable properties of high stiffness and strength as well as specific weight. Hence, they have become some of the most important materials in several industries. These composites can be grouped into thermoplastic and thermoset composites, with thermoplastic composites having several advantages over thermoset composites in mechanical properties and processing. As a result, the study of the material behavior and forming techniques of such composites has attracted considerable attention in recent years. When the continuous fiber-reinforced polymeric composites are molded by flow molding, the molded parts leads to be nonhomogeneity and anisotropic because of the separation and orientation of fibers. As the characteristics of the products are greatly dependent on the separation, it is very important to clarify the separation in relarion to molding conditions, fiber mat structures and mold geometry. In this study, the effects of the mold geometry and the fiber mat structure on the compression moldability are studied using the cup-type molding.
