Why did Daoxuejia(道學家) interpret realizing Ren(仁) as "the state of private desire removed"? (인(仁)의 실현은 왜 사욕(私欲)의 제거가 되었나?)

  • This is the issue of this paper: What was the reason for Daoxuejia(道學家) in Song Dynasty to interpret 'ke-ji(克己)' as 'removing private desire'? 'ke-ji-fu-li'(克 己復禮)' is a phrase presented by Confucius as a way of practicing Ren(仁). The interpretations of Ren(仁) concept by Daoxuejia(道學家) have been reviewed. They interpreted Ren(仁) as Tian-li(天理) and thought its contents as 'Tian-di-shengwu-zhi-xin(天地生物之心)'. Zhu xi(朱熹) associated the concepts of sheng-sheng (生生), Xu(虛), Rou(柔), etc. and provided philosophic explanations on the interpretation of Ren(仁) raised newly by Ercheng(二程) and the interpretation of 'ke-ji-fu-li' (克己復禮). It is fact that Zhu xi criticized ardently Daoism but did not think nothing was worth taking from it. The stands of Daoxuejia(道學家) scholars in Song Dynasty on "removing private desire(去私欲)" presented in this paper could be the grounds supported such opinion.

  • Ultrasonic wave stimulator need estimation of quality and security of safety by courtesy call about malfunction or side effect.   • The electronic medical device industry and the relevant market have been greatly expanded owing to various factors, such as the advent of the aged society and the spread of the desire for well-being in developed countries, and rapid development of China, India and other emerging markets. The electrical stimulator is one of electronic medical devices most commonly used in homes. The electrical stimulator is widely used for pain relief, rehabilitation, muscle conditioning and others. Since it is mainly used in homes, it is very important to assure the safety and performance for protection of users. However, there is no guideline on evaluation of safety and performance of such electrical stimulator for home use. In this study, various local and foreign references were reviewed to develop the internationally harmonized procedures for safety and performance evaluation of the electrical stimulator and test items, specifications and methods are proposed. In addition, such proposed test items were validated to decide the internationally harmonized tests for safety and performance evaluation. This study will contribute to improvement of quality and safety of electrical stimulators for home use and help the Korean medical device industry have the international competitiveness.

  • 저는 암기입니다. 전통 있는 대한전기학회의 하계대회에 초대되어 강연하게 되어 정말 영광스럽게 생각합니다. 저는 지난달까지 일본 동경전력(주)의 부사장으로 재직하였습니다만, 이번에 관련기업인 통신사업을 하고 있는 동경통신 network의 사장으로 이동하게 되었습니다. 전력사업과는 다릅니다만, 통신사업이라는 장래에 유망한 새로운 공공사업에서 힘을 발휘해 볼 생각입니다. 오늘은 이 자리를 빌어서, 제가 40여년 일해온 전력사업에 관해, 그 장래에 대해 이야기 하고자 합니다.

  • Direct measurements of electric fields in a glow discharge are difficult because the measurement method should be sensitive to the electric field and non-intrusive. Laser spectroscopy is very suitable in that it is non-intrusive and allow in-situ measurements to be made. In this report, the measurement techniques of electric fields in glow discharge using laser spectroscopy were described.

  • An implementation scheme of the magnetic nerve stimulator using a switching mode power supply is proposed. By using a switching mode power supply rather than a conventional linear power supply for chArging high voltage cApacitors, the weight and size of the magnetic net've stimulator can be considerably reduced. Maximum output voltage of the developed magnetic nerve stimulator using the switching mode power supply is 3,000 volts and switching time is about 100 msec Experimental results of human nerve stimulations using the developed stimulator are presented.

  • Hypoid gears are widely used in rear drive and 4WD vehicle axles. Investigation of their sensitivity to deflections is one of the most important aspects of their design and optimization procedures. The deflection test is performed in the actual gear mounting using completely processed gear. This test should cover the fun operating range of gear loads from no load to peak load. Under peak load the contact pattern should extend to the tooth boundaries without showing a concentration of the contact pattern at any point on the tooth surface. Transmission error is tested on an axle assembly triaxial real car load condition.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 후각 자극에 의한 감성의 변화를 주관적 검사와 동시에 시행한 심전도에서 추출한 HRV parameter와의 상관관계를 보고자 함이다. 후각 자극은 0.6% orange와 2.5% valeric acid를 일정 flow와 일정 농도를 코 점막에 건조를 방지하기 위해 수증기로 포화시킨 향자극기로 주었다. 향의 주관적 검사에서 오렌지향은 친숙하고 쾌하다고 하였으며, valeric acid의 경우 불쾌하고 성가시고 친숙하지 않는 감성을 표시하였다. 이러한 쾌하고 불쾌한 향자극에 대한 HRV 분의 활동이 우세하였음을 확인하였다. 결론적으로 HRV 스펙트럼 분석이 감성의 변화를 객관적인 지표로 나타내는데 유용한 정보로서의 가능성을 제시히고자 하였다.
