The aim of this study is to develop multimedia courseware which can make studying picture map interesting in a more concrete and three-dimensional situation by using multimedia materials such as graphics, animation, and moving images, which breaks from the past teaching methods for picture map. The multimedia courseware used in this research can help learners understand the concept on picture map in a much easier way, and study wherever and whenever they want to. In addition, students can pass through the levels up according to their levels through the process of students' constructing the knowledge by themselves and individualized materials which can enhance their desire to learn and make the individualized learning possible.

This paper purposes to provide a new perspective for better development of geography texts. For this purpose, we have applied spatial cognition development theory to children's drawings. We have suggested that children's spatial operation ability has three development stages according to their age: topological space, projective space, euclidean space. This study turns out that Piaget and Inhelder's spatial concept development theory is on the right track. However, we make clear that their division according to the age is not always accurate due to children's individual differences. These findings have educational implications as the following: First, it is dubious that most children can understand pictures, pictorial maps and illustrations in the third grader's textbook. Second, current textbooks require pictorial map understanding and drawing to third grade students and map drawing to fourth grade students. However, according to this study, the placement of these tasks are not fit for children's developmental stage because both tasks correspond to euclidean space operation. Therefore, we should remove them from the textbook for children at the age.

지도 학습은 7차 교육과정의 초등학교 3학년 1학기 사회 교과서 1단원, 우리 고장의 모습에서 그림지도를 중심으로 전체 차시인 19차시에 걸쳐 다루고 있다. 그리고 4학년 1학기 사회 교과서 1단원, 우리 시 도의 모습에서도 지도의 기본 요소인 방위, 기호, 축척, 등고선을 중심으로 17차시 중 7차시에 걸쳐 학습하게 되어 있다. 그러나 자료 제작의 어려움, 개인 수준 차이로 인하여 제대로 지도 학습을 하기는 어렵다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 초등학생 지도 학습을 위한 상호작용적 WBI를 설계하고 구현하였다. 교육과정의 내용을 재구성하여 준비, 방위, 기호, 축척, 등고선, 지도 그리기의 6개 영역 아래 기본학습과 심화학습을 하게 되며, 심화학습은 학습자가 적극적으로 참여하여 학습할 수 있게 하였다. 그리고 심화학습을 마치면 보물찾기 활동이 이루어지면서 학습의 재미를 느끼도록 하였다. 이 외에도 우리들의 이야기, 토의하기 둥 다양한 상호작용 기능을 제공하여 학습의 이해를 돕는 WBI를 구현하였다.

Purpose: People with intellectual disabilities are vulnerable to the use of receptive and expressive vocabulary. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect on the receptive vocabulary and the expressive vocabulary after teaching reading education to adults with intellectual disabilities living in facilities using picture fairy tales. Methods: The subjects of this study were 12 adults with intellectual disabilities under the age of 20 to 40 residing in residential facilities. They were divided into 6 test groups and 6 control groups, and gave a total of 12 sessions of 60 minutes per session, and reading instruction using picture fairy tales. Results: In the test group that conducted reading activities using picture fairy tales, the use of the receptive vocabulary was significantly improved, and the use of the expressive vocabulary was significantly improved. There were no significant results in all of the control groups. Conclusions: This study had the effect of improving the use of receptive vocabulary and expressive vocabulary after teaching reading using picture fairy tales for the disabled. It is estimated that this result will be the basis for research in this field.

학교 교육에서 문해력과 수리력에 비해 그 중요성이 간과되고 있는 공간 지각 능력과 도해력을 학습하기 위해서 학습자 중심의 지도 그리기 교육이 실제화 되어야 한다. 따라서 이 글에서는 보다 더 실제적 이고 효과적인 지도교육을 위한 지도그리기모듈을 구현하고자 한다. 특히 사회과의 경우 사고의 방법과 과정을 중요시 하는 교육목표를 가지고 있기 때문에, 현재의 저학년 초등교과교육 중 지도 그리기 학습의 문제점을 살펴보고 구체적 조작기의 아동을 위한 공간 능력의 향상과 구체물의 평면화 등 지도 그리기 교육의 목표를 수월하게 도달하기 위한 모듈을 구현하여 초등 지리 교육의 수월성과 함께 학습자의 수준에 맞는 흥미로운 학습을 도모하고자 한다.

소셜 미디어(Social Media)란 사람들이 의견, 생각, 경험, 관점 등을 서로 공유하기 위해 사용하는 온라인 툴과 플랫폼을 뜻한다. 여행에서 가장 중요한 정보는 위치와 경로 정보이다. 하지만 우리가 다른 사람들의 여행정보를 검색하여 보면 위치와 경로 정보를 보여주는 방법으로는 지도를 캡처하여 그 위에 직접 경로를 그린 뒤 그림파일로 저장하여 올려서 사진처럼 보여주는 경우가 대부분이며 지도를 제공하는 여행 블로그 사이트에서는 출발 정보와 목적지 정보를 입력하면 지도 위에 목적지와 그 사이를 선으로 연결하여 같이 보여주는 정도의 서비스를 제공한다. 또한 지도 위의 정보와 실질적인 여행 정보, 즉 사진이나 여행자의 메모나 생각 같은 글이 연결되어 보여주지 못한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사용자가 자신의 여행기를 정리하고 표현하는데 있어서 지도 위에서 자유롭게 사용자의 의도대로 표현할 수 있는 인터페이스를 생성하는 것을 목표로 한다.

우리나라는 최근 의료기술의 발달로 고령화 사회에 진입하여 만성 질환을 가진 노인의 수가 증가하고 있다. 이에 건강보조식품과 만성질환의약품을 복합하여 복용하는 노인들의 약물부작용이 다수 발생하고 있다. 이러한 부작용을 해결하기위해 노인만성질환자들이 복용하는 의약품과 건강보조식품의 상호작용 양상을 알아보고 해결방안을 모색해야할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구는 현재 만성질환의약품과 건강보조식품의 부작용이 일어나고 있는 5가지를 지정하여 노인들이 쉽게 알아볼 수 있도록 표시해주는 그림문자를 개발하였다. 건강보조식품과 만성질환의약품간의 상호작용에 대한 적극적인 복약지도와 그림문자를 통해 만성질환 노인환자의 부작용 발생을 예방함으로써 보다 안전하고 효과적인 의약품 사용이 가능해 질 것으로 기대된다.

편차도표는 진북, 자북, 도북의 관계를 지도 하부에 그림으로 표시한 난외주기를 말한다. 우리가 사용하고 있는 현재의 기본도는 1966년 한화합동항공사진측량사업을 바탕으로 1974년까지 남한 전지역에 대하여 1:25,000 기본도를 완성하고, 이를 축소 편집하여 1:50,000 지도를 작성한 것이다. 이와 더불어, 1975년부터 지자기측량을 실시하여 1980년을 기준으로 한 자편각을 기본도에 표시하였다. 그러나, 이렇게 작성된 편각도표는 우리나라의 기본도에 적용된 투영좌표계와는 맞지 않는 결과를 나타내고 있다. 이에 대한 연구를 수행하여 정상적인 편차도표가 작성될 수 있는 안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to identify how character education activities utilizing picture books affect pro-social behaviors of young children. The subjects were 46 children aged 5 who attended private child care centers in G city. The children were allocated to either the experiment group or the control group. The data were collected for 12 weeks and the activity sessions were provided to the experiment group 3 times a week (36 times in total). The sessions consisted of an integrated approach toward character education. Therefore, various activities were included such as listening to the stories of picture books, discussion, drama, language activities, music, mathematics, science and games. The findings of this study were as follows: The experiment group which experienced character education utilizing picture books has significantly improved their pro-social behaviors compared to the control group. The approach positively influenced the overall sub-variables such as leadership, helping, communication, initiative consideration, approach trial, sharing, empathy, and emotional control. The character education activities should be applied to character education utilizing picture books for young children because they let young children experience building up trust and learn social attitude, and influenced increase of pro-social behaviors on young children.

필자들은 제37회 교육자료전시회(1997)와 제38회 교육자료전시회(1998)에 작품을 출품하였다. 이들 교육자료전시회에 참가하게 된 동기는 다음과 같다. 입문기 아동의 수학교육은 학습내용에 대한 흥미를 가지도록 해야 하며 구체적인 조작활동을 통하여 수량에 대한 기초적인 개념과 원리, 그리고 법칙을 바르게 이해시켜 논리적 사고력을 기르도록 해야 한다. 그러나 대부분의 아동들을 목표수준에서 보면 만족스럽지 못하고, 시간이 지날수록 학습결손아가 늘고 있는 현실이다. 특히 오름길 학습지를 해결할 때는 우수한 아동에게도 조작활동을 시켜보면 뜻밖에 조작 활동을 제대로 못하고 당황하는 경우를 흔히 볼 수 있다. 이것은 개념 형성과 개인간의 차에 관심을 둔 지도가 이루어지지 않은 상태에서, 자기능력과 수준에 맞는 학습을 하지 못하고 다음 단계로 넘어가기 때문이라 판단하였다. 이에 필자들은 교과서에 예시한 활동이나 그림 자료들을 실제로 관찰하고 조작해 볼 수 있도록 구체적인 자료로 대체하여, 수학에서 요구하는 학습지도 원리에 적합하도록 하였다. 또 교실 수업에서 야기되는 개인차에 대한 학습지도상의 문제점을 해결하는 한편, 급우간 인간관계에 바탕을 둔 소그룹 협동 학습을 위한 자료로 수와 가감산의 원리를 쉽게 체득 시킬 수 있도록 하였다.
