Study on the Learning Effect of Mathematical Patterns Using LOGO Programming (LOGO 프로그래밍을 이용한 초등학교 수학 규칙성의 학습효과 연구)

  • 제 7차 교육과정부터 규칙성 영역의 학습이 도입되고 중요하게 다뤄지고 있지만, 학생들이 규칙성을 찾거나 도형 패턴을 나타내는 데 어려움을 겪고 있기 때문에, 본 논문에서는 규칙성을 LOGO 프로그래밍 언어를 통해 학습하고 그 효과를 분석하였다. 수학적 패턴의 유형은 생성방식에 따라서 (1) 반복패턴, (2) 대칭패턴, (3) 증가패턴, (4) 회전패턴, (5) 혼합패턴의 다섯 가지이다. 논 논문에서는 규칙성 영역에 대한 LOGO 수업의 효과를 분석하기 위해서, 각각 패턴에 대하여 평가 문항을 만든 후 수업전과 LOGO를 통한 수업 후에 평가를 실시하여 분석하였다. 사전평가 M 4.74에서 LOGO 수업을 실시 한 후에 평가에서 M 5.22로 LOGO 수업의 효과가 유의미(p<.05, p=0.016)하게 나타났다. 특히, 도형패턴에서 높은 향상도를 나타냈다.

An Analysis of the Questions Presented in Chapters of Pattern Area in Elementary School Mathematics (초등수학의 규칙성 영역 단원에 제시된 발문의 특성 분석)

  • The teacher's questions presented in the problem-solving situation stimulate students' mathematical thinking and lead them to find a solution to the given problem situation. In this research, the types and functions of questions presented in chapters of Pattern area of the 2015 revised elementary school mathematics textbooks were compared and analyzed by grade cluster. Through this, it was attempted to obtain implications for teaching and learning in identifying the characteristics of questions and effectively using the questions when teaching Pattern area. As a result of this research, as grade clsuter increased, the number of questions per lesson presented in Pattern area increased. Frequency of the types of questions in textbooks was found to be high in the order of reasoning questions, factual questions, and open questions in common by grade cluster. In chapters of Pattern area, relatively many questions were presented that serve as functions to help guess, invent, and solve problems or to help mathematical reasoning in the process of finding rules. It can be inferred that these types of questions and their functions are related to the learning content by grade cluster and characteristics of grade cluster. Therefore, the results of this research can contribute to providing a reference material for devising questions when teaching Pattern area and further to the development of teaching and learning in Pattern area.

A Exploratory Comparison Study on Anchoring Effect according to Regularity of Snack's Shape (스낵모양의 규칙성에 따른 앵커링 효과의 탐색적 비교연구)

  • The purpose of this study examines the influence of anchoring and adjustment according to regularity of snack's shape. Especially this study choose 'choco chip' as a snack with regularity to compare with 2012's study. The results of this study are as follows. 1) The anchoring and adjustment also appears in 'choco chip' with regularity. But statistical meaning is different from the result of prior study. 2) The difference of anchoring effect reduced according to additional verbal information in 'choco chip' with regularity. but has no statistical meaning of interaction effect. However the causes of two results are different. 3) The interaction effect of cognitive load(without vs. moderate vs. high) is meaningful statistically. difference of anchoring effect reduced according to additional verbal information in 'choco chip' with regularity in 'choco chip' with regularity. This study provides strategic implication that it overcomes the limitation of the prior resuarch and may reinforce the biased judgement by cognitive overload.

Experimental Analysis on Regularities of Synergistic Interaction of Temperature with Physico-Chemical Environmental Factors (온도와 물리화학적 환경요인에 의한 상승작용의 규칙성에 관한 실험적 고찰)

  • The combined action of two factors on organisms can be either antagonistic, non-effective, additive or synergistic. Although synergism is of biological importance, the common features of synergistic interaction between harmful environmental factors are largely unknown. The purpose of this study is to establish general rules describing the response of various organisms to the combined action of heat with another inactivating agent. Synergistic interaction due to the simultaneous treatment of hyperthermia with ionizing or non-ionizing radiation has been analyzed using the experimental data mainly obtained with yeast cells. In addition, the results reported by others for viruses, bacterial spores, cultured mammalian cells, plants and animals were also analyzed to check the regularities revealed. The common rules of the synergistic interaction obtained in this study can be summarized as follows. For any constant rate of exposure, the synergy can be observed only within a certain temperature range. An increase in exposure rate resulted in an increase of this specific temperature and vice versa. For a constant temperature at which the irradiation occurs, synergy can be observed within a certain dose rate range. As the exposure temperature is reduced, the optimal intensity decreases and vice versa. A new conception taken into consideration those regularities can make a clue for environmental disaster preventive analysis of the synergy of radiation with the other factor.

  • As the development of ICT has made it easier to collect various traffic information, research on creating new traffic attributes is drawing attention. Estimation and forecasts of demand and traffic volume are one of the main indicators that are essential to traffic operation, assuming that the traffic pattern at a particular node or link is repeated. Traditionally, a survey method was used to demonstrate this similarity on trip behavior. However, the method was limited to achieving high accuracy with high costs and responses that relied on the respondents' memory. Recently, as traffic data has become easier to gather through ETC system, smart card, studies are performed to identify the regularity of trip in various ways. In, this study, route-level trip data collected in Daegu metropolitan city were analyzed to confirm that individual traveler forms a spatially similar trip chain over several days. For this purpose, we newly define the concept of spatial trip regularity and assess the spatial difference between daily trip chains using the sequence alignment algorithm, Dynamic Time Warping. In addition, we will discuss the applications as the indicators of fixed traffic demand and transportation services.

Grapheme-to-Phoneme Conversion Regularity Effects among Late Korean-English Bilinguals (후기 한국어-영어 이중언어화자의 자소-음소 변환 규칙에 따른 영어 규칙성 효과)

  • This study examined grapheme-to-phoneme regularity effect among late Korean-English bilinguals by using whole word level task (lexical processing) and two meta-phonological tasks(sub-lexical processing): [1] English word naming task(whole word level), [2] rhyme judgement task(rhyme level), and [3] phoneme deletion task(phoneme level). Forty-three late Korean-English bilinguals participated in all three tasks. In these tasks, participants showed better performance in regular word conditions compared to irregular word conditions, demonstrating a clear English regularity effect. Post-hoc correlational analysis revealed strong correlation between word naming task and rhyme judgement task, which is different from the results reported with English monolinguals. The contradicting results might be due to the relevantly low English proficiency level among late Korean-English bilingual speakers. In conclusion, this study suggests that late Korean-English bilinguals make use of L2 grapheme-to-phoneme conversion (GPC) rule when reading L2 English words.

  • 비정형의 대공간 구조물은 대량의 부재가 규칙성을 가지고 공간상에서 반복되는 패턴을 가지는 특징이 있다. 이러한 특징은 기존의 구조해석 모델러로부터의 접근을 어렵게 하는 반면, 관계성과 규칙성을 논리적으로 모델링함으로써 최종 모델을 생성해내는 파라메트릭 모델링 방법에는 매우 적합하다. 본 연구에서는 이전의 연구를 통해 개발된 파라메트릭 구조해석 모델링 툴인 STRAUTO을 이용해 전형적인 비정형 대공간 구조물인 용인시민체육공원 주경기장의 모델링에 파라메트릭 모델링 기법을 직접 적용해 봄으로써 이 새로운 접근법의 적합성과 효율성을 검토해 보았다.

  • 과학은 국민들의 기본적인 과학적 소양을 육성하기 위한 교과로서 과학적인 기본 소양을 기르기 위한 과목이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 과학 교육에 발견 학습 모형을 도입함으로서 학습자 스스로 인터넷을 통해 다양한 자료와 정보를 수집하고 이를 토대로 일반화시키고, 또한 규칙성을 찾아내어 개념형성을 통해 일상생활 속에서 다양하게 활용할 수 있는 능력을 신장시키고자 한다. 본 연구는 웹의 다양한 자료를 활용하여 현재 실험과 관찰의 한계를 극복하고, 학생 스스로 자기 주도적 학습을 통해 자연 현상의 규칙성을 찾아내고, 개개인의 다양한 형태를 반영한 발견 학습 모형을 개발하고 또한 구현한다. 이를 통해 시공간적 제약, 관찰 대상의 어려움, 비용적 측면, 실험으로 인한 환경 파괴 등을 극복하고자 한다.
