  • Dependent type은 유리수, 리스트 함수, 행렬 곱 등 여러 가지 타입들의 제약 사항들을 충실히 표현하는 데에 필수적이기 때문에 이를 지원하는 타입 시스템을 탑재한 언어를 새로 개발하거나 기존 언어의 다른 특성들을 활용하여 이를 모의(simulate)하려는 시도가 다각도로 진행되고있으며, Haskell 타입 레벨 프로그래밍도 이런 모의 기법 중 하나다. 기존 타입 레벨 프로그래밍은 변별력의 손실이 없는 대신 이로 인해 관련 함수들의 타입이 복잡해지거나 확정하기 어려워지는 경우가 많아서 잘못된 프로그램을 작성할 위험 부담이 커진다. 실제로 dependent type이 필요한 경우들 중에는 매우 간단한 변별력만을 요구하는 경우가 많으므로, 귀납적 자료형을 이진 추상화하여 일부 변별력을 포기하는 대신 상대적으로 간단하게 dependent type과 관련 함수들의 타입을 확정하는 간소화된 타입 레벨 프로그래밍 기법을 제안한다.

Analysis on Constructs Concept of University Athletes' Self Management (대학운동선수의 자기관리 구성개념 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to establish the concept of self - management in university athletes through two integrated research methods as an open-ended questionnaire and focus group interview. Data collection was conducted with open questionnaire for 157 athletes attending in Seoul Gyeonggi-do university and the 14 university athletes were collected data by focus group interview. Results from a series of research procedures are as follow. First, the result of open-ended questionnaire's inductive content analysis, university athletes' self management included 8 general sectors such as life management, training management, competitive management, emotion management, study management, interpersonal management, goal(motivation) management, equipment management. Second, in the focus group interview results, inductive content analysis was more properly supported, and interviews focused on sports field were deeply derived. The results of this study will be used as a basic data to establish strategies for successful athletes' life and develop to university athletes' self management.

A Study on Mathematical Justification of Elementary School Teachers (초등학교 교사들의 수학적 정당화에 대한 연구)

  • A lot of researches state mathematical justification is important. Specially, NCTM (2000) mentions that mathematical reasoning and proof should be taught every student from pre-primary school to 12 grades. Some of researches say elementary school students are also able to prove and justify their own solution(Lester, 1975; King, 1970, 1973; Reid, 2002). Balacheff(1987), Tall(1995), Harel & Sowder(1998, 2007), Simon & Blume(1996) categorize the level or the types of mathematical justification. We re-categorize the 4 types of mathematical justification basis on their studies; external conviction justification, empirical-inductive justification, generic justification, deductive justification. External conviction justification consists of authoritarian justification, ritual justification, non-referential symbolic justification. empirical-inductive justification consists of naive examples justification and crucial example justification. Generic justification consists of generic example and visual example. The results of this research are following. First, elementary school teachers in Korea respectively understand mathematical justification well. Second, elementary school teachers in Korea prefer deductive justification when they justify by themselves, while they prefer empirical-inductive justification when they teach students.

A Meta-learning Approach for Building Multi-classifier Systems in a GA-based Inductive Learning Environment (유전 알고리즘 기반 귀납적 학습 환경에서 다중 분류기 시스템의 구축을 위한 메타 학습법)

  • The paper proposes a meta-learning approach for building multi-classifier systems in a GA-based inductive learning environment. In our meta-learning approach, a classifier consists of a general classifier and a meta-classifier. We obtain a meta-classifier from classification results of its general classifier by applying a learning algorithm to them. The role of the meta-classifier is to evaluate the classification result of its general classifier and decide whether to participate into a final decision-making process or not. The classification system draws a decision by combining classification results that are evaluated as correct ones by meta-classifiers. We present empirical results that evaluate the effect of our meta-learning approach on the performance of multi-classifier systems.

  • New technologies such as the IoT, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence, starting from the Web, mobile, and smart device, enable new business models that did not exist before, and various types of Internet companies based on these business models has been emerged. In this research, we examine the factors that influence the success and failure of Internet companies. To do this, we review the recent studies on business model and examine the variables affecting the success of Internet companies in terms of network effect, user interface, cooperation with actors, creating value for users. Using the five derived variables, we will select 14 Internet companies that succeeded and failed in seven commercial business model categories. We derive decision tree by applying inductive learning based on ID3 algorithm to the analysis result and derive rules that affect success and failure based on derived decision tree. With these rules, we want to present the strategic implications for actors to succeed in Internet companies.

Analysis of the Composition Concept of Education Service Quality of Beauty Major University (뷰티전공 대학의 교육서비스품질 구성개념 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the concept of composition of educational service quality through two integrated research methods of open questionnaires and focus group interviews for college students majoring in beauty. Participants in the study majored in beauty at 2-year and 4-year universities nationwide. The enrolled students were set as a population, and 250 people were adopted as a random sampling method and used for the survey. The series of results are as follows. First, as a result of inductive content analysis of open questionnaires, the educational service quality of beauty majors was derived into five areas: major knowledge, educational quality, professor-student intimacy, student needs reflection, usability, curriculum composition, environmental efficiency, educational equipment, and reputation. Second, as a result of the focus group interview, inductive content analysis was more reasonably pointed out and derived in depth. As a result of this study, it is believed that it can be used as basic data for the development of measurement tools for educational service quality of beauty majors.

Scientific Thinking Types and Processes Generated in Inductive Inquiry by College Students (대학생들의 귀납적 탐구에서 나타난 과학적 사고의 유형과 과정)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze scientific thinking types and processes generated in inductive inquiry by college students. Subjects were three college student. Three inductive tasks were developed: Caminalcules set I which is a task consisted of 6 imaginary animals, a potato task which is a task about the interaction between juiced potato and $H_2O_2$, and Caminalcules set 2. Subjects' thinking types and processes were investigated through thinking-aloud method and interview. Subjects' performances were recorded on videotapes and analyzed. Subjects have shown 5 types of inductive thinking in the first task; observing, discovering commonness, discovering pattern, classifying, discovering hierarchy. The processes of inductive thinking shown by students are followed; observing $\rightarrow$discovering commonness $\rightarrow$classifying $\rightarrow$discovering pattern $\rightarrow$discovering hierachy. The subtypes of inductive thinking on observing were investigated by the analysis of subjects' performance on the second task. In analysis of protocol, student' thinking types on observing have been classified as simple observing and operational observing. Operational observing has been categorized conjectural observing and predictive observing. The subtypes of inductive thinking on classification and hierarchy were investigated by the analysis of subjects' performance on the third task. In analysis of protocol, students' thinking types on classification have been searching criteria for classifying and selecting criteria for classifying. Subtypes of discovering hierarchy have been classifying groups and hierarchical ordering by students. Processes of classifying groups proceeded from searching criteria for classifying to selecting criteria for classifying.

A Comparative Study of Inductive and Deductive Instructional Effects on the Learning of Population Genetic Concepts (집단유전 개념 학습에서 귀납적 - 연역적인 수업효과 비교)

  • The purposes of this study was to investigate the effect of inductive Instructional method and deductive one concerning the learners' population genetic concepts and achievement according to learners' cognitive characteristics. For the study, 180 students were sampled from a boys' high school: 90 students for inductive teaching method and 90 students for deductive teaching method. Group Assessment of Logical Thinking(GALT) and Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT) were used as the measure of cognitive characteristics. The results of this study were as follows. 1) The inductive instructional method was more effective in the understanding of population genetic concepts and their achievement. 2) Inductive instructional method was more effective than deductive one for the learners in formal operational level and in field independent cognitive style. 3) For the learners in a transitional level and field dependent cognitive style, deductive instructional way was more effective than inductive way on the average, but it was not statistically significant. It was turned out that learners' cognitive level was one of important factors when teachers instruct the concept of population genetics.
