Recently, the importance of competitive cities has emerged, and many cities around the world are striving to gain competitiveness. Domestic cities are also enhancing their competitiveness by taking advantage of the city's uniqueness and locality with strategies differentiated from other cities, and interest in city brands is increasing. This study seeks to enhance the city brand by improving the landscape elements of the airport, a representative international entrance. Through Instagram's hashtag function, it aims to derive elements of landscape preferred by airport users and to find ways to enhance Busan's city brand based on them.

Busan port has played a part as the main trade gateway in Korea for several decades. However, due to the rapid integration of China into the global economy and the grand changes in global trade structures, the trade gateway system in Korea and the status of Busan port have been transformed. Busan port's role as a trade gateway toward Japan and U.S. has increased during last two decades but, in cases of China, its importance has relatively decreased. Moreover, Busan port's competitiveness has been undermined in the most part of commodity trade. These phenomena reflect the high competition among trade ports which tend to increase the effectiveness of supply chains. Based on the geographical research tradition which has understood a port as a nexus between hinterland and foreland, this study focuses the changes in characteristics of trade freights and the status as a gateway of Busan port. This approach will contribute to the understandings of dynamics in the comtemporary international logistics.

인천국제공항이 세계 초일류 메가허브공항으로 도약하기 위해 더 큰 날개를 펼치고 있다. 향후 증가할 항공수요를 감당하기 위해 4단계 건설을 추진하고 있으며, 그 중 2단계 사업으로서 탑승동 A를 건설, 2008년 6월에 선보일 예정이다.

서울근교에 위치한 김포육계분회(분회장 : 김기환 사장)까지는 신촌에서 직행버스를 40여분 남짓한 거리에 있다. 국제적으로 한국의 관문인 김포국제공항을 포함하는 이곳 김포육계분회는 생산물의 대부분을 서울로 직송하는 곳이기도 하다.

This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution pattern of international trade. The method is to analyze the principal components by changing interaction attribute matrix of four dimensions (hinterland, gateway, foreland and commodities) into two dimension matrix. The study area is the territory region of Cheongju clearance depot in inland. The result are as follows : Major spatial patterns of regional connections by hinterland, gateway and foreland are, in the case of exports, ten patterns and in the case of imports come to nine. Composition of major export and import commodities in Cheongju clearance depot are similar, but precision instrument manufactured commodity and nonmetal mineral are remarkable in export and mineral manufactured commodity machinery and electronic manufactured commodity are remarkable in import. Gateway are similar to export and import, but Incheon international airport is used more in the case of import. And Cheongiu international airport is used for some commodities and is remarkable as a foreland of import for the areas outside of Chungcheongbuk-do.

기업과 무역의 국제화는 시대에 부응하는 요구이며, 원활하고 특징있는 국제 전기통신 서비스의 욕구를 창출하였다. 다양한 국가와 지역의 상이한 환경과 요구조건은 각 국가에서 변경없이 그대로 적용할 수 있는 단일 표준개발을 허용하지 않는다. 조화를 이룬 표준과 완전한 기능의 국제적 관문(gate ways)이 종단대 종단(end-to-end)망 및 서비스 연결성을 제공하는데 결정적인 요소가 되며, 특히 국경을 초월하여 발전하는 세계적인 지능 통신망 서비스와 관련되었을 때 그러하다. 이러한 세계적인 인터네트워킹 서비스에 대한 잠재성은 해결을 요하는 표준 및 정책문제를 제기한다. 현재 많은 표준화 기구가 이러한 작업의 조화를 이루고 시장의 수요에 반응하려는 노력을 진행하고 있음을 알 수 있다.

1990년대까지만 해도 김포구제공항은 외국과 우리나라를 오가는 유일한 관문으로, 늘 관광객과 국제적인 인사들로 북적했다. 그로부터 20여년이 지난 지금, 김포공항의 위상은 많이 달라졌다. 인천국제공항이 새로 생기면서 국제공항으로서의 면모가 다소 떨어지고, 찾는 발길도 크게 줄어든 것. 하지만 김포공항은 조용히 또 한 번의 비상을 준비하고 있다. 그리고 그 중심에는 롯데건설이 시공하고 있는 '김포국제공항 SKY PARK 조성사업'이 있다. 이 사업은 대지면적만 19만5천여$m^2$에 달하는 옛 국제공항주차장부지에 쇼핑몰(백화점), 영화관, 호텔을 조성하는 것으로, 올 11월 준공을 눈앞에 두고 있다. 실로 강서지역에 새로운 중심지가 만들어 지는 것. 김포공항의 변신이라는 점도 화두지만, 이 사업을 빛나게 하는 것이 또 하나 있으니 바로 '안전'이다. 이곳의 시공사인 롯데건설은 2007년 사업을 시작한 이래 지금까지 빈틈없는 안전관리로 무재해 300만 시간을 기록하고 있다. 안전으로 강서의 신 중심을 만들고 있는 이곳 현장을 찾아가 봤다.

세계 및 한국경제의 성장과 함께 항공운송 시장의 급속한 확대에 따라 대한민국에서의 국제항공 운송 수요는 꾸준히 증가하게 됨에 따라 한국의 관문 역할을 담당하던 김포국제공항의 수용능력은 한계에 이르게 되었다. 따라서 정부는 김포국제공항을 대체할 인천국제공항을 건설하여 운영하는 한편 김포국제공항에는 한국 중국 일본의 수도를 포함한 몇몇 도시를 연결하는 근거리 중심의 국제선이 취항하게 되면서 공항운영에 대한 새로운 패러다임을 형성하게 되었다. 대한민국의 수도 서울의 항공교통을 위한 공항이 제한적이지만 복수공항 체계로 운영되면서 인천공항과 김포공항을 이용하는 항공여객은 공항 이용 시 선택의 기회가 주어지면서 공항운영자는 여객의 공항선택에 영향을 주는 요소에 관심이 점차 증대되고 있는 현실이다. 그러나 현재 국내에서는 항공여객의 항공사 선택에 관한 연구는 많이 이루지고 있으나 항공여객의 공항선택에 관한 연구는 상대적으로 미흡한 실정임을 부인할 수 없다. 따라서 본 연구는 항공여객의 공항선택에 미치는 속성이 무엇이고 속성에 따른 중요도와 만족도를 측정하여 공항운영자의 공항운영과 활성화 전략수립에 대한 정보를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 김포공항 국제선 이용객을 표본으로 선정하여 설문조사를 실시하여 IPA 분석과 GAP분석 및 경로분석 기법을 사용하여 분석하였다.

최근의 건축물은 입구부분에 외부의 광장개념을 실내로 유입시켜 이용객에게 개방감을 주면서 휴식공간을 제공하고자 하는 아트리움 또는 대공간의 형태가 자주 계획되어 지고 있다. 인천국제공항의 첫 관문이자 교통시설의 중심 역할을 하게 될 교통센타에서도 바닥면적 28,000$m^2$, 높이 약45m규모의 대공간이 계획되었으며, 그의 외부형태는 그림 1과 같이 항공기와 새의 모습을 형상화하고 있다. 인천국제공항 단지 내에 위치하고 있는 교통센타는 연면적 9만5천평의 규모로서 앞서 설명한 대공간의 홀과 각종 판매시설, 주차장, 철도역사시설 둥을 갖추고 있다.

제주특별자치도의 관문인 제주국제공항 내에 있는 한국공항(주) 제주지점은 국내외 항공기에 지상조업, 급유조업, 화물조업 등을 지원하는 회사다. 1972년 10월 개설 이래 39년간 동종업계에서 선두위치를 굳건히 지켜오고 있는 이곳은 서비스는 물론 안전관리 역량에서도 자타가 인정하는 우수기업이다. 실제 외국 귀빈이 탄 비행기나 정부 주요 인사가 탑승한 비행기가 제주공항에 착륙 할 때는 향상 우선 지정을 받아 서비스를 펼치고 있을 정도다. 철저한 안전관리를 통해 항공기 조업분야의 모범사례로 우뚝 선 이곳 현장을 찾아 그들만의 특별한 안전활동을 살펴봤다.
