  • 개인용 컴퓨터나 무선 전화, PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)의 기술 발전으로 이들이 인터넷에 접속할 수 있게 되었으며, 사용자들은 좀 더 다양한 방법으로 인터넷을 Browsing할 수 있는 방법을 찾고 있다. 본 연구는 표준 입출력 모드와 음성 인식과 음성 합성 모드를 동시에 적용할 수 있는 Multi-Modal Browsing 시스템을 연구하여 보았다. 이때 각 모드간에 동기화를 위한 이벤트 메시지 교환과 각 모드의 상태 저장 방법으로 Java RMI 모델을 제안하였다.

  • 최근까지 웹은 컴퓨터 상에서의 디스플레이, 키보드, 포인팅 장치들과 같은 비주얼 인터페이스를 통해서 정보 전달 및 서비스를 해오고 있다. 또한 이들은 일부의 모바일용 서비스를 제외하고 대부분이 익스플로어나 네스케이프 등의 웹브라우져를 지원하는 서비스를 해오고 있다. 이와 같은 시스템은 시간과 공간에 제약이 있으며 지원하는 브라우저가 있어야 하는 단점이 있다. 전화의 보급률은 컴퓨터나 기타 장치들에 비해 높고, 음성은 사람에게 쉽게 다가갈 수 있고 편하게 사용할 수 있는 인터페이스이다. 본 논문에서는 지금까지의 보는 것 중심의 웹 서비스를 듣고 말하는 웹 서비스로 음성 인식 항공 정보 시스템으로 설계ㆍ구현하였다.

Experiment to Select Materials for the Conservation and Restoration of a Glass Ewer, Korean National Treasure No.193 (국보 제193호 봉수형유리병의 재보존처리에 사용할 복원재료 선정 실험)

  • The Department of Conservation Science at the National Museum of Korea carried out conservation treatment on a prized glass ewer Designated as Korean National Treasure No.193 in order to enhance the ewer's structural stability and restore its true color and transparency. Prior to the conservation treatment, experiments were conducted on various materials e.g., Epoxy Resin, Acrylic Resin, Photopolymer Resin, Water Glass in order to select the most suitable materials for glass conservation. As a result, cyanoacrylate, acrylic, and photopolymer resin were found to be the most appropriate as adhesives, and acrylic resin was an appropriate restoration material. Notably, however, cyanoacrylate resin must not be used solely, and epoxy resin must be detachable.

  • Objectives : To find the causes, the development factors and trend of phlegm-damp constitution in previous dynasties, Chinese medicine books were reviewed, to provide literature basis. Methods : The paper looks into the references to phlegm-damp constitution in Traditional Chinese medicine classics literatures, to analyze the its causes, the development factors, and the recuperation methods. Results : Phlegm-damp constitution is one of common type of human constitution. The development trend of phlegm-damp constitution is Xiaodan(消瘅), similar to the dispersion-thirst disease, stroke, chest discomfort, asthma, infertility to name a few. Conclusions : The phlegm-damp constitution is related to the natural endowment and the acquired life style and behavior factor. General recuperation is a basic and effective approach for preventing and treating the constitution.

  • Tests of notched specimens of ten hardwood species in the LR and LT systems were conducted to investigate fracture toughness($K_{IC}$) and effective moduli of elasticity(MOE). $K_{IC}$ values were examined in relation to MOR, MOE, specific gravity of clear wood specimens. It was found in both systems that there were significant relationship between $K_{IC}$ and MOR, $K_{IC}$ and specific gravity. To predict the effective MOE of notched specimen from MOE of clear wood, it was analyzed by using equvalent cross-section method. In LR system, the observed values were similar to the predicted values, but in LT system, both were not agreed as the ovserved values were smaller. However. the results were shown that this method was avaliable to predict the effective MOE of notched specimens.

  • This paper proposes an improved write-piggybacking technique called hybrid write-piggybacking, and evaluates its performance. The performance of the proposed hybrid write-piggybacking technique is done through a trace-driven simulation using a model of a real disk system. The results of simulation show that the proposed hybrid write-piggybacking has better performance compared to the original write-piggybacking technique.

  • We analysis the structure of Song $I-y\u{o}ng's$ Armillary Clock, a Korean National Treasure (No. 230) that is displayed at Korea University Museum. This Armillary Clock is only one remained in east Asia, but does not working because some parts had been broken away. We measured this remains and reconstructed a working model of the astronomical armillary sphere system of the his armillary clock, which system is consisted of Solar and lunar moving devices.

  • 본 논문에서는 "황제내경"의 체질 관련 내용에 대하여, 음양(陰陽) 이론을 바탕으로 생리, 심리, 기질, 성격, 행위, 질병, 방약조리 등의 조건에 대하여 태양인, 소양인, 태음인, 소음인, 음양화평지인 각각의 특질을 분류하고 설명하였다. 이러한 연구는 사람의 다섯 가지 체질 패턴에 대하여 표준을 제시하는데 도움을 줄 것이며 현대인의 체질적 차이를 설명하는데 이론적 방향을 제시할 것이라 생각한다. 또한, 본 논문의 주요 의미는 "황제내경"의 체질 관련 내용을 기존의 체질학설로 설명한 것이 아니라, "황제내경"이 담고 있는 근본 이론인 음양오행론(陰陽五行論) 중에서 주로 음양론(陰陽論)을 바탕으로 분석한데 있다. 체질에 대한 음양적인 분석은 향후 체질학을 연구하는데 많은 도움을 줄뿐만 아니라, 전통적인 음양론(陰陽論)의 관점에서 체질을 다시 해석해 봄으로써 그 응용 범위를 넓힐 수 있고, 또한 임상에서 방약(方藥)을 사용하여 치료하는데 실제적인 도움을 줄 것으로 생각된다.

  • The Medical Beauty in "Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)" is characterized by the establishment of the unity of man and nature, human and social unity, the unity of human body organs and meridians, Gi-Blood[氣血] human essence unity, the unity of body and spirit. The harmony of Jang(臟) and Bu(腑), blood and Gi(氣), Eum and Yang and mental and physical health are essential to the beauty, and the harmony of internal and external environment must not be overlooked. In a word, the Medical Beauty in "Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)" is the thought of strong and handsome which based on cultivating health to prevent disease and aging.

  • The fire of Sungnyemun, National Treasure of No.1, gave to the Korean people and fire investigators big pains. The aim of this study are the identification of combustion traces and fire patterns of wooden building fire, burned with an accelerator, after spraying flammable materials on the wooden floor through the field study observation. Also, in the case of the similar fire, these results will be as good references to fire investigators for accurate investigations.
