참관기 - Online Information '97 유럽 전자도서관

  • 한국데이터베이스진흥센터(KDPC){에서는 유럽의 디지털도서관 구축 현황을 조사하고, 매년 12월 영국 런던에서 개최되는 "Online Information '97" 전시회에 참가하여 선진국들의 정보산업 기술 동향과 선진 데이터베이스 구축 현황을 조사하기 위해 '유럽 디지털 도서관 및 Online Information '97 전시회 참관단'을 파견하였다. 참관단에는 14개 업체에서 데이터베이스 관련 업무에 종사하고 있는 20명의 관련 전문가가 참여하여 1997년 12월 6일부터 12월 14일까지 영국의 De Monfort University 도서관, University of Westminster 도서관, Die Deusche Bibliotek(독일 국립도서관), Bibliotheque Nationale De France(프랑스 국립도서관)을 방문했다.

  • The National Library of Korea is the nation's representative library, serving as a repository of knowledge and cultural heritage, and as a service center for the distribution / management, and provision of national knowledge and information. Recently, the library has been increasingly urged to respond to changes in the environment surrounding the libraries. It is time for National Library of Korea to consider the future directions and improvements of library services. This study is aimed at providing future directions and policies regarding library services. Analysis on library services in national libraries: This study analyzed the current state of the services of NLK, the current states of the services of major national libraries, and stakeholder analysis. It is expected that the service direction for NLK can be a cornerstone of the service directions for other libraries.

  • Th term "hybrid library" refers to the collection of material in print, electronic and other media library hold and give access to. Hybrid library is the type of library that national library is toward in the digital age. Electronic publication is one of the important medias with the traditional media for hybrid library. This paper trys to introduce the acquisition policy on electronic publication by legal deposit, purchase, and other ways at the National Library of Korea with the trends of current electronic pulications domestically and internationally.ationally.
