본 연구는 국내 아동 전용 인터넷 검색서비스 야후꾸러기와 쥬니어네이버를 이용자 중심에서 비교, 평가하고, 두 검색서비스를 이용하는데 있어 아동이 나타내는 문제점을 밝히고자 하는 것이다. 정량적 연구를 통해 야후꾸러기와 쥬니어네이버의 검색효율성, 검색결과의 정확률, 검색결과의 연결성, 검색결과의 유용성, 검색서비스의 만족도를 이용자 중심에서 비교, 평가하고, 정성적 연구를 통해 이용자가국내 아동 전용 인터넷 검색서비스를 이용하여 자신이 찾고자 하는 검색질의로 검색하는 과정을 분석한 후 아동들이 인터넷 검색서비스를 이용하는데 갖는 문제점들을 밝힌다. 이 연구를 통해 아동의 정보 요구가 최대한 반영된 인터넷 검색서비스를 개발하는데 기여하고자 한다.

Music plays significant roles in the process of human development. The requirement in each process of development can be encouraged by children's participating in various musical activity and so the musical circumstance can make an important factor. Acknowledging that, there were some attempts to use music as a means of treatment or education for children. The subjects of clinic studies in music therapy, especially in Korea, have mainly been children with delay or disability in development. The purpose of this article is focused on collecting and analyzing articles which are written about children who are the main subjects of clinic studies. By collecting and analyzing those articles, the tendency of domestic studies about music therapy concerned with children can be widely examined. Ninety thesis about music therapy related with normal and disabled children have been collected and analyzed considering the subjects, methods, fields of the studies and musical intervention. The conclusions are the same with followings. First, considering the subjects, the studies on children with disabilities are more than normal children and the studies on autistic children occupy the largest portion of them Recently the studies on normal children have been increased as well as the studies on children with disability. Second, for the methods1 experimental studies have been performed more widely than descriptive studies. Third, considering the fields of development, the studies on the social field occupies the largest part of all and they are followed by emotion, language and communication, cognition in turn. Last, in case of musical intervention, it is clear that musical intervention is more used as forms of singing songs and playing instruments than special skills of music. Through this article, the achievements and shortcomings in this territory could be possibly shown at the same time. Moreover, the direction which it has to move toward could be shown.

The purpose of this study is to understand the school achievement of domestic adopted children in Korea and its related factors. Although the developmental outcomes of domestic adopted children were the focus of research interests, their school achievement has never been fully addressed in Korea. The subsample (9-17 years old) of 5th wave data of was used for the analysis. The results showed that the school achievement level of domestic adopted children was not significantly different from their non-adopted peers during elementary school years except the mathematics, but changed drastically after they entered the middle school, showing significantly lower level from their non-adopted peers. Factors related with the overall school achievement were the level of school, maternal education, age at adoption, child's self-esteem and school adjustment. For specific subject, however, significant factors were found to be somewhat different. Based on the results of the study, the practical guidelines to improve the school achievement of adopted children were suggested. Also, suggestions for the following studies were made.

말소리의 생성 및 전달에서 화자의 청각적 피드백은 말소리 발달에 중요한 부분을 차지한다(고도흥 외, 2000). 그러나 청각장애 아동의 경우, 청각적인 피드백이 부족하여 말소리 발달과 언어발달에서 지체를 보이게 된다. 특히 이러한 말소리 발달은 아동의 말명료도에 큰 영향을 미치게 되고, 국내외 여러 학자들은 청각장애 아동의 말 산출에 대한 연구를 활발하게 하고 있다. 그러나 현재 국내의 연구 중 이중모음에 대한 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 국내의 청각장애 성인이나 아동을 대상으로 한 연구들은 대부분 연구자의 지각적이고 주관적인 입장에서 이루어지고 있다. 좀더 객관적인 연구 자료는 임상적인 목적뿐만 아니라 말소리 발달의 연구에서 필요하다. 따라서 이 연구는 청각장애 아동의 이중모음의 특징을 음향음성학적인 방법으로 객관적으로 분석하여 그 자료를 제시하고, 건청 아동과의 비교를 통해 임상적인 자료를 제시하고자 한다. This paper is a preliminary study to develop the standard job model for strengthening children services in Korean public libraries. To do so, the researchers reviewed and analysed the current status, features, and job of children's services of sample public libraries in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, and Korea. As a result. library management, development and preservation of childrens' materials, technical services and database management, public services, program services related to book and reading, cooperation activities with the relevant agencies and facilities revealed as a key job of children's librarian. Based on these results, subsequent research will be to develop a standard job model for children's services of public library in Korea.

The Korean Government is enforcing policies to activate domestic adoption in order to guarantee and protect stable family lives of children requiring protection. We surveyed recognitions and attitudes toward adoption and adoption policies of Daejeon citizens. The result will be important information for activating domestic adoption. We could find that motives of adoption centered on adopted children rather than adoptive parents. Especially, the recognition level toward open adoption is high, which shows that the domestic adoption can be activated if multiple political supports are provided for adopted children and adoptive families.

지난 93년 출범한 '서당'은 국내 유일의 아동도서 전문유통회사이다. 각 출판사에서 발간되는 어린이책들 가운데 비교적 양질의 책을 선별 구입, 전국의 어린이 전문서점에 공급하고 있다. 초창기엔 종수 자체가 적어 전집을 구입해 낱권으로 공급하기도 했지만, 이젠 단행본 시장도 활발해 '어린이 문화'의 번창을 기대할만하다는 전망이다.

Objective : This study seeks to unveil the intellectual framework of research surrounding children's occupations by utilizing social network analysis of keywords from studies focused on childhood. Methods : From August 2003 to August 2023, we analyzed 3,364 keywords extracted from 270 research articles in the Korean Citation Index with the keyword "Child and Occupation" using the NetMiner program. Results : Research on children's work has increased quantitatively over the past decade. Keywords exhibiting a high degree of centrality in the realm of child occupation research included Task (0.055), Group therapy (0.040), Working memory (0.037), Intervention (0.033), Performance (0.030), Language (0.026), Ability (0.026), Skill (0.024), and Program (0.023). Notably, the weighted terms in the Word Network included Evaluation-Tool (30), School-Student (15), and Activity-Participation (15). The primary keywords from each topic in topic modeling were Activity (0.295), Disability (0.604), Education (0.356), Skill (0.478), School (0.317), Function (0.462), Disorder (0.324), Language (0.310), Comprehension (0.412), and Training (0.511). Conclusion : This study describes the trends in the domestic field of pediatric occupational research. These efforts provided valuable insights into pediatric occupational therapy in South Korea.

This study aims to review the implementation level of the Children's Participation Rights by analyzing the trend of researches as to the Children's Participation Rights, and to suggest implications for future researches and practices. To this end, twenty-seven articles that had been published in Korean journals during the period from the conclusion of the Convention of the Rights of the Children in 1989 to May 2017 were analyzed. The result of this analysis indicated that the concept of the Children's Participation Rights in the researchers' perspective was more expansive than the Convention of the Rights of the Children, and the context in which the Children's Participation Rights were exercised was important, Based on the analysis, this study proposed the following; first, it is necessary to study the implementation process of participation rights in various contexts, second, more emphasis needs to be placed on the right of participation in everyday life, and third,, a process to coordinate various opinions between children and adults should be included in designing the children's rights education.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide a critical assessment of evidence-based Korean pediatric research that can inform clinical practicability of, and future research on distraction interventions for pediatric procedural pain management. Methods: A critical review of evidence-based Korean pediatric research was conducted. Databases were searched to identify research that included an evaluation of a distraction intervention as an intervention for pediatric procedural pain management. The search yielded 68 studies. Results: From these studies, 14 were included for this review and all were recently published (2003-2014). Quasi experimental designs were most frequently used (n=12) and for 71.4% the focus was preschoolers. Audiovisual techniques were the most common form of distraction. In most studies clinical utility of the distraction intervention was not examined. Fairly consistent reductions in behavioral measures of pain in association with the distraction intervention were found but less consistent results were found for physiological measures. Conclusion: Lack of methodological rigor limits the evidence for distraction interventions to reduce pain and fear experienced by children during painful procedures. Further research to analyze the cost and time-effectiveness and to identify consumer and provider satisfaction with distraction interventions is needed to determine whether distraction interventions are clinically relevant.
