IT시장분석기관인 KRG(Knowledge Research Group)가 국내 300개 대학을 대상으로 조사해 발표한 '국내 대학 원격교육 도입 현황 보고서'에 따르면 국내 대학(2년제 포함)의 원격교육에 관한 관심이 날로 높아지고 있음을 알 수 있다. 네트워크 성능이 발달과 쌍방향 비실시간 교육에 대한 수요확대에 힘입어 국내 대학들은 절반 가까이가 원격교육 시스템을 도입하고 있으며, 비 도입 대학들도 60% 이상이 원격교육 시스템을 도입하거나 도입을 검토하고 있다. 특히 텍스트 중심의 교육보다는 동영상과 연계된 멀티미디어 원격교육에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있는 것으로 보인다. 국내 대학들의 원격교육 솔루션 도입 실태를 살펴보고, 앞으로 원격교육 시장의 발전을 예측해 보고자 한다.

This study aims to increase understanding of current status and changes of academic libraries in South Korea in comparison with those of academic libraries in North America and United Kingdom (UK). The five-year statistics of academic libraries were collected from Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS), Association of Research Libraries (ARL), and Society of College, National and University Libraries (SCONUL), and the authors compared the statistical indicators that are comparable to each other. The circumstance and performance of academic libraries in North America were much better than those of South Korea. In addition, the area of library buildings in South Korea was larger than those in UK, and they also had more books and carrels than UK libraries; however, UK libraries had more library staffs, expenditure on material purchase, and interlibrary loan requests. These findings imply that there should be more support on academic libraries in South Korea to increase library staffs and budget, which will invigorate library services and use.

Most university libraries in Korea have expanded the subscription of high-quality electronic resources in their amount and category, which are directly available to academic and research users via the web. Despite more than a decade's history, however, a lack of statistics made it difficult to get the overall pictures of electronic resources subscription status in Korea. The purpose of this study is to provide the analysis on nationwide statistics survey of how much money are spent on electronic resources, what kinds of subject resources are mainly subscribed, and how they are used and required by academic users, etc. Some comparisons are made with several factors that have effect on collection development of university libraries. This study will contribute to the future selection and subscription of electronic resources.

This study aims to compare the statistical indicators of libraries of 57 Korean universities and 116 North American universities using Rinfo and ARL statistics respectively. The authors compared twelve similar statistical indicators and found that North American academic libraries were superior in 'volumes in library', 'electronic books', 'total staff', 'total library materials expenditures', 'total items borrowed', 'total items loaned', 'library presentations to groups', and 'participants in group presentations', compared to Korean academic libraries. Although Korean academic libraries showed higher numbers in 'annual gate count', 'reference transactions', 'initial circulations', and 'full-text article requests', there exist some differences in definitions and scopes of these indicators between Rinfo and ARL, needing cautious interpretation of results. The findings of the study imply the needs of expanding support for academic libraries that play pivotal roles in increasing competitiveness of teaching and research of universities. It was also found that systematic management and improvement for statistical indicators of Rinfo are necessary.

정보기술의 급진적인 발달로 경쟁이 점점 심화되어져가고 있는 환경 속에서 경쟁적 우위를 갖기 위한 기업들의 끊임없는 노력은 계속 되고 있다. 이러한 시점에 ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning: 전사적 자원관리) 시스템은 기업의 경쟁력을 제고하고 변화하는 비즈니스 환경을 예측하여 신속하고 현명하게 대처하기 위한 수단으로서의 역할을 수행하고 있으며 최근 기업뿐만 아니라 대학에서도 이에 대한 관심이 확산되고 있다. 이미 국외의 많은 대학들이 ERP시스템을 도입한 실정이고, 국내에서는 정보화 사업의 일환으로 연세대학교가 일반 행정 업무의 효율화를 위해 SAP R/3를 도입했고 향후 학사 행정 시스템과의 통합을 모색 중이다. 정부에서도 국$\cdot$공립 대학들의 행정업무 효율성 제고를 위해 차세대 행정업무시스템으로 ERP 시스템 도입을 본격화하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 정보화를 추진하고자 하는 국내 대학에 ERP 시스템의 도입을 제안하였고, 기존에 선행 연구된 연구 자료를 비교$\cdot$분석하여 기업의 ERP 시스템 구축 성공요인을 정리하였다. 본 논문은 초기단계에 있는 국내 대학의 ERP시스템 도입에 대학이 나가야 할 방향을 제시하였고, 앞으로 국내 대학의 ETP시스템 도입이 증가할수록 이에 대한 보다 심도 있는 연구가 계속 되어야 할 것이다.

본 연구는 국내대학의 교원들의 학술논문업적에 관한 합리적이고 객관적인 평가방법 개발에 비계가 되고자, 현재 국내 대학에서 시행중인 교원업적평가 중 학술논문평가기준을 비교 분석하였다. 우선 문헌정보학과가 포함된 국내 종합대학 27개교의 학술논문평가기준을 수집하여 비교한 다음, 2001년에서 2014년까지의 전국문헌정보학과 교원들의 학술논문 서지데이터를 이용하여 학술지의 영향력지수 및 피인용횟수를 적용한 순위와 27개대학 평가기준을 적용한 순위를 학교별, 저자별로 도출하여 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 교원들의 공정한 평가방안 마련에 도모하고자 하며, 교원의 연구 및 학문활동의 상승 제고 뿐 아니라 대학 내 연구환경 개선까지 다방면으로 교원의 사기진작에 도움이 되고자 한다.

This study attempts to measure visibility and impact of university repositories in South Korea with the help of web-sites, OpenDOAR, ROAR and RWR. Further understanding the self-archiving status of South Korea, the analysis results were compared with the reputation and power of major Asian countries' university repositories. The results showed that only nine institutional repositories of the universities in South Korea were active. There was only one South Korean university repository in the RWR top 500. All the other repositories ranked in bottom level. However, among Asian countries, Japan and Taiwan have established many institutional repositories. They had 257 and 52 repositories respectively. Fortunately, some leading university repositories in South Korea began activating self-archiving with the help of linking their own research outputs management system. Also, the attempts by other South Korean university repositories expect a substantial quantitative growth in the near future.

기금조성은 대학이 활용가능한 중요한 재원확보수단이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 국내 대학의 경우 기금조성 성과는 매우 미흡한 실정이며 이에 대한 연구 역시 체계적이지 못하며 지극히 소수만이 발표되고 있다. 본 연구는 대학의 효과적인 기금조성을 위한 전략적 방향을 마케팅 관점에서 제시하고 있다. 국내 55개 4년제 대학의 기금조성부서장을 대상으로 한 서베이 분석결과, 국내 대학의 기금조성활동은 대체로 도입기에 있으며, 그 성과가 매우 저조한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기금조성에 있어 마케팅 관점에서의 접근, 특히 시장지향성과 체계적인 장기전략계획의 수립이 기금조성 성과와 매우 밀접한 관련을 맺고 있으며, CEO와 대학구성원의 몰입이 기금조성 관련변수에 광범위하게 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하고 있다. 본 연구는 향후 기금조성관련 연구를 촉진하기 위해 기금조성모형과 연구문제를 제시하고 있으며, 대학의 정책입안자에게 필요한 경영암시도 제공하고 있다.

국내 대학도서관의 문헌복사 서비스는 90년대 후반부터 다양한 정보센터의 출현으로 해외사례와 비교하여 이용률이 지속적으로 증가해 온 것이 사실이다. 본 연구에서는 국내 대학도서관의 문헌복사 서비스에 대한 정량적 분석 및 대학도서관의 장서, 예산, 직원, 이용자 등의 환경요인과의 상관관계 분석을 통해 대학도서관간의 협력모델, 이용자의 서비스 만족도 향상 및 국내 상호대차 서비스의 활성화를 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the methods for activating blogs in university libraries by investigating and analyzing their current management conditions. For this purpose, first, literatures related to library blogs were reviewed to examine the theoretical background. Second, the contents of university library blogs actively used, were investigated. Third, a survey with librarians in charge of the library blogs was carried out in order to identify problems dealing with blog management. The study's analysis presented the problems that university library blogs faced. And also enrichment strategies for university library blogs are suggested based on the research.
