The main objective of this study is to develop a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) application, IGIS(Integrated Groundwater Information Service System), for efficient management of groundwater data. This integrated system includes various groundwater measurements, monitoring data, well data, hydrogeochemical data, hydrogeological maps and diversely analyzed results including time series analysis data for water levels and quality. It will be used efficiently for local government officers to manage groundwater within their districts and also for drillers and investigators to develop wells and assess groundwater conditions. This web-based GIS system was implemented firstly for Cheonan and Daegu city. As a result, the system makes the efficient management, distribution and utilization of groundwater data possible by web-based GIS technology.

With the rapid socioeconomic change the siting of SOC is getting more difficult due to so-called NIMBY syndrome. The objective methodology using GIS was かid as a case study to solve the complexity of the power transmission line routing. We anticipated that the new optimization of transmission routing would be the efficient and reasonable way in getting the public acceptance and settling the public complaints from transmission construction project in our country.

최근 국가산업 발달과 함께 자연 생EH계 파괴, 환경 오염 및 자연 훼손과 같은 문제점들이 야기되고 있으며, 범국가적인 차원에서 자연환경 보전과 관리에 대한 인식이 날로 부각되고 있다. 정보 시스템 분야에서도 다차원 지리정보를 이용한 자연 생태계 연구 및 환경오염원 관리와 같은 연구가 현재 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 이 논문은 자연환경과 생태계 관리를 위한 방법으로, 인터넷 GIS 기술을 이용한 지리정보 시스템을 구축하여 그 활용을 연구하였고, 연구 대상지로는 지리산 일대로 정하였으며, 환경의 범위는 자연환경 및 생태계로 정하였다. 공간정보 분석 및 관리를 위해 적지분석, 사용자 질의 처리 및 지리정보 가시화 모듈. 등을 개발하여 자연 환경정보를 보다 체계적으로 관리하기 위한 핵심 기능을 마련하였다. 각 모듈은 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하며, 특정 요구목적에 따라 공간분석을 통한 자연환경 및 생태계 접근에 대한 의사결정을 돕도록 하였다. 또한 환경상태 및 여러 목적에 따른 분류가 가능하도록 하여, 자연생태계, 야생 생물의 서식지를 보호 및 환경 오염원 관리분야의 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 구현된 웹 기반 지리정보 시스템은 국립공원, 야생동물 보호 단체 및 환경단체를 통해 환경정보를 국민에게 제공하여 서비스의 질을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대되며, 아울러 향후 생태계 보전 및 자연환경 보전연구에 기여할 것이다.

Currently, the necessity of inter-system integration and sharing system increases to additionally construct and efficiently utilize the geographical information data in accordance with the increase in demand for geographical information. The provision of the data within the domestic sharing system is led by the tasks within national geographical information distribution network or intra-local governmental combined system. However, any voluntary geographical information sharing cooperation body is increasingly required with the increase in necessity of administrative cooperation among neighboring metropolitan areas, including space planning and development. Accordingly, this study is aimed at looking into the constitutions and roles of cooperation bodies within metropolitan areas by the composition, distribution, update and management of data with special regard to overseas advanced cases whose sharing systems and their effects are highly evaluated, and at presenting any model of the domestic future voluntary sharing cooperation organization within metropolitan area.

There has been significant progress in the method of digital information sharing in recent years. To take advantage of the benefits of XML, OGC developed GML, which is the application of XML in the field of GIS, and released web service Implementation specification for offering GML services. Through the use of GML, therefore, it is possible to expand the methods of sharing geographical information through the Web. This study aims to develop a method to apply GML to improve the geographic information sharing services. GML can be used to effectively offer data in real time so that the currentness of the data can be maintained. This study analysed the architecture of the National Geographic Information Clearinghouse and developed a GML specification and web services that can be used within the existing architecture to expand the services. Based on the specification, this study constructed a prototype system to proved the concept.

This study aims to standardize the work classification system in spatial data. It is the base frame to classify the general information systematically in spatial data construction process. Work process of the surveying firm and rules for basic surveying which is being accomplished in the NGII(National Geographic Information Institute) are investigated and analysed. Therefore, types, individual process, and results of surveying work is standardized. If the work classification system from this study is adopted as the national standard and is also advanced by construction methodology, the spatial data will be managed futuristically and systematically.

Importance of road that is country base equipment is occupying fair part. Therefore, establishment of road and maintenance expense for road management are increasing continuously. These problem can manage efficiently through data model construction that take advantage of framework data. But, because of difference of method of study in research institution, framework data research was constructed being overlapped until current. This is because framework data research was no access of application side. Therefore, National Geographic Information Institute presented subject framework data model guide through framework data model standardization business. This research constructed road management data model that take advantage of traffic framework data. Therefore, we can check equal data construction and reduce expense accordingly. Also, because there are not data model development instances by framework data model, it is difficult that judge whether is suitable to apply framework data model guide. Hence, in this study, the extended road management data medel and the suitability of framework data is presented.

월드와이드웹(World Wide Web)의 발전과 더불어 지리정보시스템(GIS)은 웹사이트를 통한 공간 데이터의 접근에 대해 많은 관심을 가지게 되었다. 이러한 진보는 지리정보 산업이 단순한 공간자료 전달이 아닌 지식과 정보를 전달하는 새로운 단계로 성장한 것을 의미하며, 또한 공공의 목적뿐만 아니라 민간분야의 사업에 활용되어 부가가치를 높이는 계기가 되었다. 웹을 이용한 지리정보 유통에 대한 관심의 증가로 등장한 geoportal은 유럽의 여러 선진국과 미국 등에서 지역적 국가적 세계적인 범위의 공간정보 관리를 위하여 연구되고 있다. 본 연구는 유럽과 미국 등 기존의 통합유통체계에 대한 사례조사를 통해 우리의 geoportal 아키텍처를 제시하였다. 아키텍처는 Web portal, Web service, Data management를 구성요소로 하여 상호운용을 위한 미들웨어에 대해 논의한다.

지형지물 유일식별자(UFID: Unique Feature Identifier)는 주민등록번호처럼 우리나라의 국토를 구성하고 있는 도로, 건물 및 하천 등의 모든 인공적 및 자연적 지형지물에 단일식별자를 부여함으로써 해당 지형지물을 관리하는 기관은 물론, 물류, 금융 등 각종 산업 분야에 매우 중요한 역할을 하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국가기본지리정보에 지형지물 유일식별자를 생성 및 소멸, 검수 그리고 부여하는 방법을 제시하였다. 그리고, 국가기본지리정보를 위한 지형지물 유일식별자 관리시스템을 설계하고 구현하였으며, 서로 다른 두 데이터베이스간에 이루어지는 지형지물의 삽입, 삭제 그리고 갱신 등을 지형지물 유일식 별자를 통하여 연계하는 방안을 설계하여 제시하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템은 통신, 가스, 전략 등의 기관에 확대하여 적용이 가능할 것이다.
