This study concentrated on a report on the results of smelting experiments conducted eight times by the Jungwon National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage, put together the goals and results of the operation, and examined changes in the content of experiments and in the experimental results. First, changes related to operation, such as the ratio of raw materials to fuel and the presence or absence of additives, were reviewed depending on the operation goal. In addition, the results of metallurgical analysis of raw materials, formations, and byproducts were summarized and reviewed by comparing them with materials excavated from the ruins. The operation method varied up to the eighth smelting experiment in terms of iron ore roasting, additives, and raw material/fuel ratio. After reviewing the results again, pure iron with a low carbon content began to be confirmed through metallurgical analysis. As a result, it was confirmed that the charging ratio of raw materials and fuel plays an important role depending on the purpose of production. In addition, most of the products are gray cast iron, and it was deemed that this is due to changes in the internal structure of the pig iron while it was left in the furnace for a long time. The iron was an ingot that was in a molten state even though the carbon content did not reach 4.3%, where the process reaction takes place, and it was deemed to have been caused by excessive operating temperature. Based on the previously reviewed results and the structure and shape of the experimental furnace used in other ironmaking technology restoration experiments, this study finally attempted to restore the structure of an ancient iron smelting furnace, including the furnace's upper structure. By comprehensively referring to the remaining conditions of the excavated iron smelting furnace and the characteristics of the blow pipe, the form of the ancient iron smelting furnace was subdivided into six categories: furnace wall thickness, furnace height, blower height, blow pipe size, furnace inner wall shape, and top shape, and a restoration plan was proposed. To improve the problems of the restoration plan and the Jungwon National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage's experiments that have been conducted through continuous trial and error, an experiment that reflects changes in operating methods by lowering the furnace height and controlling the blowing volume is necessary.
Professional coffee shops are trying to increase customers' satisfaction and to invite more customers by providing the differentiated services. The existing researches show that the effects which the physical environment in shops has on customers' satisfaction and word of mouth intention are appealing to people's attention. In comprehensively examining the studies related to the physical environment, they can be summarized into two main perspectives, that is, the direct effect that the physical environment has on customers' satisfaction, quality perception, and other customers' responses (purchase desire, revisit intention, etc.) and the indirect effect that the physical environment has on customers' responses by means of customers' emotion or value perception. This research established 4 hypotheses by sampling 321 customers of those who have visited professional coffee shops, and empirically analyzed them. The empirical analysis carried out the structure analysis of covariance by using SPSS 17.0 statistics package and AMOS 17.0. As a result of the hypothesis qualification, the other hypotheses excluding one little hypothesis were adopted. The one refused hypothesis is that the only symbolism of the environmental elements in shops doesn't influence the customers' emotion positively (+). This is considered as a very unexpected result, and yet many customers who visit coffee shops express the symbols of professional coffee shops using the expressions such as 'bean coffee shop' or 'star coffee shop', but these expressions seem not to influence customers' mind positively in practice.
Last 20 years have witnessed many studies dealing with effects of elevated $CO_2$ on terrestrial ecosystems. However, fewer efforts have been made to elucidate effects on wetland ecosystems, although they play a key role in global biogeochemical cycles. This review synthesizes published data to reveal effects of elevated $CO_2$ on wetland plants. In particular, we focused on the changes in primary production, community structures, evapotranspiration, and nutrients in plants. Many studies have reported increases in primary production in individual plants, but we could not conclude that this will lead to increases in carbon sequestration in wetland ecosystems. The reasons include transport of photosynthates into belowground parts, speciesspecific responses, interaction among different species, and limitation of other nutrients. However, elevated $CO_2$ increased transpiration rates in many wetland plants, suggesting substantial influences on water budgets of wetlands. In addition, similar to terrestrial ecosystems, elevated $CO_2$ increased C/N ratio of many plants, which may impede organic matter decomposition in the long term. However, further information on dynamics of belowground carbon supplied from wetland plants is warranted to assess effects of elevated $CO_2$ on wetland carbon cycle accurately.
For many firms, customers are their most valuable assets. This is a shift in the interest of managers and researchers from a traditional focus on product management to a more recent focus on customer management. And they manage their customers with relationship marketing. Despite the recent academic interest in the study of customer equity, prior research has focused on brand equity and limited relationship mediated variate such as satisfaction, commitment and trust. This paper suggests customer equity drives with mediated variate and examines how relationship marketing can generate drives of customer equity and influence on customer behaviors. The results are like this. First, customer equity drives include value, brand and relationship equity and they mediate between relationship marketing activities and customer behaviors. Second, financial, social and structural activities have significant impact on repurchase, positive word of mouth, and cross purchase through customer equity drives. Third, this study tried to organize literature on customer equity systematically. It will become the foundation of follow-up studies.
BACKGROUND: Ecological functions of irrigation ponds were well known fact that important for biodiversity conservation in agricultural ecosystems. However, many irrigation ponds were destructed with changes of agricultural environment. The objective of this study is to appreciate the importance of ecological functions of irrigation pond. Furthermore, it presented to useful information for restorations of irrigation pond from analyses of correlations between benthic macroinvertebrate communities and locational factors of irrigation ponds. METHODS AND RESULTS: Benthic macroinvertebrate sampling was conducted from 2010 to 2012 at 15 study ponds. Comparisons of benthic macroinvertebrates diversity approached species richness and density, and statistical analyses were performed using independent t-test. A total of 131 species / 137,118 individuals of benthic macroinvertebrates were recorded during study period. Dominant taxa of benthic macroinvertebrates included Coleoptera, Hemiptera, and Odonata. Generally, benthic macroinvertebrate diversity in mountain region and existing ponds were showed higher than open field and created ponds, respectively. DCA ordination showed that benthic macroinvertebrate community was most correlated with locational characteristics of irrigation pond, and it correlated with bank type and age of pond. CONCLUSION(S): In conclusions, in order to restore ecological irrigation pond, it is necessary to consider environmental factors such as locational characteristics and bank types.

The underground structure, which has infinite or semi-infinite boundary conditions, is subjected by body forces and in-situ stresses. It also has stress concentration, which causes material nonlinear behavior, in the vicinity of the excavated surface. In this paper, some methods which can be used to transform domain integrals into boundary integrals are reviewed in order to analyze the effect of the body forces and the in-situ stresses. First, the domain integral of the body force is transformed into boundary integral by using the Galerkin tensor and divergence theorem. Second, it is transformed by writing the domain integral in cylindrical coordinates and using direct integration. The domain integral of the in-situ stress is transformed into boundary integral applying the direct integral method in cylindrical coordinates. The methodology is verified by comparing the results from the boundary element analysis with those of the finite element analysis. Coupling the above boundary elements with finite elements, the nonlinear behavior that occurs locally in the vicinity of the excavation is analyzed and the results are verified. Thus, it is concluded that the domain integrals of body forces and in-situ stresses could be performed effectively by transforming them into the boundary integrals, and the nonlinear behavior can be reasonably analyzed by coupled nonlinear finite element and boundary element method. The result of this research is expected to he used for the analysis of the underground structures in the effective manner.
Creativity, the ability to produce through imaginative skill, is pursued by all designers. However, originality does not refer to absolute novelty. In this age, information is shared and disseminated. Creation of works is an activity to re-establish all shared information and reorganize relationship among things. Therefore, a new design is a product of reorganization rather than originality. Moreover, designers can generate ideas different from each other because they individually espouse different system of knowledge. From such perspective, a very important task of designers is to explore methods of expanding design thinking that can enhance the ability to new connection among things in the process of assimilation and modification. The task can be carried out by identifying characteristics and limits of their unique system of knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary to seek methods of expanding design thinking for efficient cognitive activities. In explaining human knowledge, this study applied semantic network, a method used in cognitive science for creating structure, and the method of expanding design thought was proposed by corresponding method of design conceptualization. By organizing, categorizing, and flexibly combining and modifying the methods of design thinking conceptualization and expansion generated by this study, strengths of each method were enhanced and limits of each method were overcome to enable more effective design thinking. In this study, the method of expansion was used when connecting of nodes cannot be sustained after using each method of conceptualization. By avoiding unique method of thinking through diversification and vitalization of conditional points, efficient design thinking was achieved. The value of this study lies in the fact that the proposed method of expanding thinking using the mechanism of network enhances the ability to establish new connections in the process of assimilation and modification.
Recently, public service for the improvement of quality of life and life support such as safety, aging, disaster, welfare, housing, economy, urban environment, traffic etc are actively developed based on open public data, and the spread of the network and the necessity of everyday life, smartphones are playing a role in providing public services. Currently, the development of science is changing the life expectancy of human beings and changing into social structure in which aged people become bigger due to various social conditions and low fertility and aging problems. However, the elderly who do not have easy access to information are very uncomfortable in dealing with mobile devices with very low accessibility and utilization of public services provided by mobile phones. Therefore, this study recategorizes the condition of the elderly presented in the previous study and identifies the problem through case analysis provided for the elderly. Also, we summarize the hierarchy of the core items of the existing interface design and derive it as an improvement index of the public service design for the improvement of the information accessibility of the elderly, and propose a design method to improve the utilization of the public service provided through the mobile device.
The Q&A board is widely used as a means of communicating service enquiries, and the need for efficient management of the enquiry system has risen because certain questions are being repeatedly and frequently registered. This study aims to construct a student-centered FAQ, centered on the unstructured data posted on the university homepage's Q&A board. We extracted major keywords from 690 postings registered in the recent 3 years, and conducted the semantic network analysis to find the relationship between the keywords and the centrality analysis in order to carry out network visualization. The most central keywords found through the analysis, in order of centrality, were application, curriculum, credit point, completion, graduation, approval, period, major, portal, department. Also, the major keywords were classified into 8 groups of course, register, student life, scholarship, library, dormitory, IT and commute. If the most frequent questions are organized into these areas to form the FAQ, based on the results above, it is expected to contribute to user convenience and the efficiency of administration by simplifying the service enquiry process for repeated questions, as well as enabling smooth two-way communication among the members of the university.

Climate change is expected to affect population density, phenology, distribution, morphological traits, reproduction and genetics of insects, and even in the extinction of insects. To develop novel research subjects for predicting climate change effect, basic information about biological and ecological data on insect species should be compiled and reviewed. For this reason, this study was conducted to collect the biological information on insect pests that are essential for predicting potential damage caused by insect pests in future environment. In addition, we compared domestic and foreign research trends regarding climate change effect and suggested future research subjects. Domestic researchers were rather narrow in the subject, and were mostly conducted based on short-term monitoring data to determine relationship between insects and environmental variables. On the other hand, foreign researches studied on various subjects to analyze the effect of climate change, such as changes in distribution of insect using long-term monitoring data or their prediction using population parameters and models, and monitoring of the change of the insect community structure. To determine change of the phenology, distribution, overwintering characteristics, and genetic structures of insects under climate change through development of monitoring technique, in conclusion, further researches are needed. Also, development of population models for major or potential pests is important for prediction of climate change effects.
