A load Balancing System for improving the Performance of Semantic Web based Visual Media Retrieval Framework (분산시각 미디어 검색 프레임워크의 성능향상을 위한 부하분산 시스템)

  • 기존의 Ontology를 이용한 이미지 검색 시스템이나 간단한 구조를 가진 메타데이터 기반의 분산 이미지 검색 시스템들의 단점들을 극복하기 위해 다양한 이미지 제공자들의 자율성을 보장하면서, Semantic 기반의 이미지 검색을 지원하는 분산 시각미디어 검색 프레임워크인 HERMES(The Retrieval Framework for Visual Media Service)가 제안되었다. 분산 환경에서는 시스템의 규모가 커지면서 사용자들의 상호작용 성능을 떨어뜨리지 않으면서 다수의 동시 사용자들을 처리할 수 있는 확장성(Scalability)이 중요한 이슈가 된다. 제안된 프레임워크에서는 서비스를 사용하는 다수의 사용자들이 Broker 서버에 동시에 접속했을 경우 발생하는 Overhead에 대한 문제를 해결 할 수 없었기 때문에 성능의 저하와 확장성을 고려할 수 없는 문제를 안고 있다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해서 Broker 서버의 내부 컴포넌트의 수행시간을 측정하고 이를 주기적으로 수집하여 저장하는 Monitoring System이 추가로 연구되었지만, 수집한 정보를 가공하여 다수의 Broker 서버에 대한 부하를 분산하는 알고리즘은 제공되지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 동시 사용자들이 접속했을 경우에도 성능의 저하 없이 비슷한 수준의 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 Broker 서버를 증설하여 Monitoring System으로부터 각각의 Broker 내부 컴포넌트의 수행시간을 측정하여 저장하고, 저장된 데이터에 대하여 각 Broker들에 대한 우선순위를 결정하는 테이블을 작성한다. 사용자로부터 Query를 입력받는 User Interface는 Broker의 Ranking Table을 참조하여 다수의 Query 수행을 여러 서버로 분산처리하게 함으로써 성능에 대한 신뢰성을 향상 시킬 수 있는 Load Balancing System을 제안한다.할 때 가장 효과적인 라우팅 프로토콜이라고 할 수 있다.iRNA 상의 의존관계를 분석할 수 있었다.수안보 등 지역에서 나타난다 이러한 이상대 주변에는 대개 온천이 발달되어 있었거나 새로 개발되어 있는 곳이다. 온천에 이용하고 있는 시추공의 자료는 배제하였으나 온천이응으로 직접적으로 영향을 받지 않은 시추공의 자료는 사용하였다 이러한 온천 주변 지역이라 하더라도 실제는 온천의 pumping 으로 인한 대류현상으로 주변 일대의 온도를 올려놓았기 때문에 비교적 높은 지열류량 값을 보인다. 한편 한반도 남동부 일대는 이번 추가된 자료에 의해 새로운 지열류량 분포 변화가 나타났다 강원 북부 오색온천지역 부근에서 높은 지열류량 분포를 보이며 또한 우리나라 대단층 중의 하나인 양산단층과 같은 방향으로 발달한 밀양단층, 모량단층, 동래단층 등 주변부로 NNE-SSW 방향의 지열류량 이상대가 발달한다. 이것으로 볼 때 지열류량은 지질구조와 무관하지 않음을 파악할 수 있다. 특히 이러한 단층대 주변은 지열수의 순환이 깊은 심도까지 가능하므로 이러한 대류현상으로 지표부근까지 높은 지온 전달이 되어 나타나는 것으로 판단된다.의 안정된 방사성표지효율을 보였다. $^{99m}Tc$-transferrin을 이용한 감염영상을 성공적으로 얻을 수 있었으며, $^{67}Ga$-citrate 영상과 비교하여 더 빠른 시간 안에 우수한 영상을 얻을 수 있었다. 그러므로 $^{99m}Tc$-transierrin이 감염 병소의 영상진단에 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.리를 정량화 하였다. 특히 선조체에서의 도파민 유리에 의한 수용체 결합능의 감소는 흡연에 의한 혈중 니코틴의 축적 농도와 양의 상관관계를 보였다(rho=0.9, p=0.04). 결론: $[^{11}C]raclopride$ PET을 이용하여 비흡연 정

Fish distribution and community characteristics of agricultural waterways in the southern region of Korean watersheds (국내 남부권역 주요 수계 농수로의 어류 군집 특성)

  • The objective of our study was to analyze the distribution and composition of fish species and their community characteristics in agricultural waterways in the six water systems-Mankyung River, Seomjin River, Namhae Region, Tamjin River, Yeongsan River, and Dongjin River-during 2017-2018. Little is known about the distributions and community characteristics of the aquatic biota of agricultural waterways in Korea, even if the water bodies have important roles as spawning areas or habitats for fish. In this study, we identified 3,633 fish individuals in the waterways, belonging to 53 species, eleven families, and six orders (dominant species: Tanakia koreensis, T. lanceolate) and 7,108 fish individuals in the main rivers, belonging to 57 species, fifteen families, and nine orders. Moreover, three endangered wildlife (designated by the Ministry of Environment, Korea)-T. somjinensis, Acheilognathus majusculus and Coreoperca kawamebari-were found in the waterways. By fish guild analysis, we found that many waterways had a lower proportion of sensitive species and a higher proportion of omnivore species than those of the main rivers, which indicates a feature of a disturbed environment. In addition, by grouping with environmental variables, we found the group of waterways with high substrate complexity had a higher diversity index (Shannon index) and a lower dominance index (Simpson index) than that of simple substrate complexity. Overall, our study represents the characteristics of fish habitats in agricultural waterways and suggests the need to manage them and study further.

  • Precipitation hardening nickel base alloys strengthened by intermetallic compounds are extensively used to manufacture on the components of the hot section of gas turbine engines. To ensure structural stability and maintenance of strength properties for a long time, nickel alloys are normally subjected to complex alloying with elements to form ${\gamma}'$(gamma prime). Such alloys have a limited weldability, are normally welded in high temperature. However, laser welding have a merit that applies in room temperature as easy control of welding parameter and heat input. In this study, $CO_2$ laser welding is applied on STS304 plate with good ductility and precipitation hardening nickel base alloy (GTD111DS) used blade material. Also, several welding parameters are applied on powder, power and travel speed. There are no cracks in Rene 80 and IN 625 powder when STS304 plate is used. But IN 625 powder has no cracks and Rene 80 have some cracks in welds with GTD111DS substrate. Adjusting of welding parameter is tried to apply Rene 80 having a good strength compare to IN 625. In the result of adjusted welding parameter, optimized welding parameters are set with low power, low feed rate and high welding speed. Tensile strength of GTD111DS substrate with Rene 80 powder is same and over than the one of base metal in room temp and high temp($760^{\circ}C$).

Development of Roughness-Model for Jointed Plain Concrete Pavements in Express Highway (고속도로 줄눈 콘크리트 포장의 평탄성 모델 개발)

  • Roughness is the most important factor to maintain the road performance, and affects greatly on the design life in Jointed Plain Concrete pavements. Also, the factors the evaluate pavement‘s commonality is the three method such as functionality, safety and structural performance. In evaluating function of road, representative factors is the roughness, which has been used to determine maintenance time as key standard. As research for roughness is absence in pavement design. Applied roughness-model had a low-reliability in Korea. Therefore, it is needed to develop reliable model in road roughness. In this research, uniform specific is applied to distribute them after selecting the concrete pavements. Concrete pavement is divided by sections of 238. Total length of this sections has 281km and account for 16% of total road length in korean concrete pavements for selected sections. Considering the korean roughness-model, the evaluation of roughness is performed for the freezing index, average annual rainfall, condition for the base, the amount of traffic as well as spalling(%), cracking(%), age(year) at the selected section at the selected section. Also, additional sections is selected to evaluate various age which affects on the roughness. As a result of the analysis, it showed that spalling(%), cracking(%), age(year), and the condition of the base affected road roughness. When the correlation with the road roughness was analyzed, the reliable model for road roughness was proposed, and the ratio that can explain road roughness was R2-68.8% and P value-0 which is statistically meaningful.

Effects of Forest Restoration Methods and Stand Structure on Microclimate in Burned Forest Stand (산불 피해지 복원 방법이 임분 내 미세 기후에 미치는 영향)

  • The study was conducted to determine the effects of forest restoration methods and stand structure on solar radiation, air temperature, relative humidity, soil temperature, and soil water content, based on volume, in forest stand after forest fire. The changes of the micro-climate elements in naturally and artificially restored forest after forest fire were measured in Goseong and Samcheok, Gangwon province. Pinus spp. were commonly appeared in ridges, barren lands or planted areas of the study sites while the other areas were dominated by Quercus spp. In the early stage, trees in the naturally regenerated site grow better than the trees in artificially rehabilitated site. However, the growth ratio rapidly decreased by time passed in natural regeneration area. The environmental conditions (solar radiation, air temperature, relative humidity, soil temperature and soil water content) were significantly different by the regions and the methods (p<.05). However, the coefficients of variations of the environmental conditions were not significantly different at 95% confidence level. As the coverage and tree height in crown layer increased, the relative humidity and soil water content were increased while the temperature and solar radiation were decreased. Especially, the relative humidity, solar radiation, and soil water content were clearly affected by the tree height and coverage ratio ($R^2$ means from 0.628 to 0.924). Even though the data should have collected at least more than 5 years in meteorological analysis, the two year results show some clear relationship between forest structure and microclimate elements.

A Study on the Characteristics of Lift Fluctuation Power Spectral Density on a Fin Tube in the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (배열회수 보일러 단일 휜튜브의 양력 변동 PSD 특성 연구)

  • Heat exchanger tube array in a heat recovery steam generator is exposed to the hot exhaust gas flow and it could cause the flow induced vibration, which could damage the heat exchanger tube array. It is needed for the structural safe operation of the heat exchanger to establish the characteristics of flow induced vibration in the tube array. The researches for the flow induced vibration of typical heat exchangers have been conducted by using single cicular tube or circular tube array and the nondimensional PSD(Power Spectral Density) function with the Strouhal number, fD/U, had been derived by experimental method. From the present study, the basis for the application of flow induced vibration to the heat recovery steam generator tube array would be prepared. For the previous mentioned purpose, the present CFD analysis introduced a single fin tube and calculated with the unsteady laminar flow over the single fin tube. The characteristics of vortex shedding and lift fluctuation over the fin tube was investigated. The derived nondimensional PSD was compared with the results of the previous experimental researches and the characteristics of lift PSD over a single fin tube was established from the present CFD study.

Electrochemical Properties of Needle Coke through a Simple Carbon Coating Process for Lithium Ion Battery (침상 코크스의 피치 코팅에 따른 리튬 이차전지 탄소계 음극소재의 전기화학적 특성)

  • Graphite materials for lithium ion battery anode materials are the most commercially available due to their structural stability and low price. Recently, research efforts have been conducted on carbon coatings by improving side reactions at the edge site of carbon materials. The carbon coating process has classified into a CVD by chemical reaction, wet coating process with solvent and dry coating by mechanical impact. In this paper, the rapid crush/coating process was used to solve the problem of which only few parts of the carbon precursor (pitch) can be used and also environmental problems caused by solvent removal in the wet coating process. When the ratio of needle coke to pitch was 8 : 2 wt%, and the rapid crush/coating process was carried out, it was confirmed that the fracture surface was coated by pitch. The pitch-coated sample was treated at 2400 ℃ and 41.8% improvement in 10C/0.1C rate characteristic was observed. It is considered that the material simply manufactured through the simple crush/coating process can be used as an anode electrode material for a lithium ion battery.

A Study on the Durability and Environmentally Friendly of Inorganic Grouting Material (무기질계 지반주입재의 내구성 및 친환경적 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Inorganic injection material, which is one of the ground improvement materials, consists of cement accelerator and inorganic micro particle. The inorganic injection material is known to overcome the major limitations of water glass type improvement materials, which are leaching and accompanying strength loss. The inorganic injection material is superior in durability and strength, and environmentally friendly since leaching is prevented. In this study, the effectiveness and environment-friendliness of the MIS(Micro Injection-process System) using the inorganic injection material is compared to SGR, which uses the water glass. The performed tests were unconfined compression test, chemical resistance test, and fish poison test. The unconfined compression tests showed that the MIS results in 1.7 times higher 28 day strength compared to the SGR. In addition, the strength continually increased with time for the MIS, while it decreased for the SGR. The chemical resistance tests indicated that the rate of change in length using the MIS is 10~25 times smaller than when using the SGR. The fish poison test proved that MIS was more environmentally friendly. The analysis of chemical ingredients of leached showed that the amount of $Cr^{6+}$, Pb and Si leached from the MIS is less compared to the SGR. Accordingly, the MIS grout is more high-strength than existing SGR grout. It is excellent in shortening of construction period, structural stability of foundation and environmentally friendly. So, it is considered that it has not little the problem about groundwater pollution.

Progress in Composite Polymer Membrane for Application as Separator in Lithium Ion Battery (리튬 이온 전지의 분리막으로 사용하기 위한 복합 고분자 막의 동향)

  • Separators, which produces physical layer between a cathode and anode, are getting enormous attention as the quality of the separator determines the performance of lithium ion batteries (LIBs). Porous membranes based on polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) are generally utilized as the separator of LIBs because of their high electrochemical stability and suitable mechanical strength. However, low thermal resistance and wettability of PE and PP membranes limited the potential of LIBs. Operating at the temperature exceeding the melting point of membranes, the separators change their structures which lead to short circuit of LIBs. Low wettability of the separators corresponds to low ionic conductivity which increases the cell resistance. To overcome these weaknesses of PE and PP separators, different types of separator were prepared by co-electrospinning, applying coating layer, forming core shell around membrane, and papermaking method. The synthesized separator greatly enhanced the heat resistance and wettability of separator and mechanical properties like flexibility and tensile strength. In this review different type of polymer membrane used as separator in lithium ion battery are discussed.

The Power Spectral Density Characteristics of Lift and Drag Fluctuation on a Heat Exchanger Circular Tube (열교환 단일 원관의 양력과 항력 변동에 따른 PSD 특성 연구)
