  • 소수력발전소가 건설 후 점검 및 유지보수를 지속적으로 수행 설비성능을 유지하지만, 30년이 경과하면 노후화 및 피로현상으로 성능이 저하되고 경제적 내용연수가 도래한다. 대수력의 경우 전문인력과 점검 및 보수비용을 투자하여 일상, 주간, 월간, 년간, 정기보수를 수행하고 그 기록을 유지관리하고 있지만, 소수력발전소의 경우는 그러하지 못하여 발전소 효율뿐만 아니라 운용중의 안전도 위협받고 있는 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 국내 시설물 안전관리에 관한 특별법에 의거 필리핀에 위치한 노후 수력발전소의 현대화를 위하여 최초 기존 시설물에 대한 안전진단을 실시하여 토목 및 건축물의 보강을 위한 방법을 선정하고 이를 바탕으로 수력발전설비로부터 발생하는 진동과 같은 다양한 영향을 감소시키기 위한 토목기술을 반영하여 현지 환경에 적합한 수차선정과 노후 시설물의 유지보수를 국내 토목 보수 보강 기술로 설계하였다.

Evaluation of Limit Strength for Steel Cable-Stayed Bridgesusing Various Cable Elements (다양한 케이블 요소를 이용한 강사장교의 극한강도 평가)

  • This paper deals with the influence of behavior of a variety of cable elements on the limit strength of steel cable-stayed bridges. The softening plastic-hinge model, which is represented in this study for the limit strength evaluation of the example bridge, considers both geometric and material nonlinearites. Geometric nonlinearity of beam-column members are accounted by using stability function, and material nonlinearity - by using CRC tangent modulus and parabolic function. Cable sag effect is considered for cable members. The result of this study shows that the limit strength of the example bridge using the equivalent of elasticity for truss straight elements is smaller than those using the cable or the catenary elements.

  • Impact seismic wave method is a method for non-destructive testing of concrete structure using of stress wave which is propagate and reflected from internal flaws within concrete structure and external surface. In this study, we performed frequency domain method using impact seismic wave test for safety diagnosis of civil engineering structure. And reflection method which is used for one-dimensional target such as tunnel lining and transmission method are compared with each other.

  • Developed is a new environment-friendly concrete-block retaining wall system. The conventional analysis methods are not directly applicable because the proposed concrete-block wall system is made of by interlocking the blocks with shear keys. Therefore, the shear analysis as well as stability analysis have been conducted to secure the safety of block-wall system. Overall slope stability analysis was also performed. An appropriate strengthening method was developed to ensure the safety when the block-wall system is relatively high. The method of analysis for strengthening the concrete-block wall system was also proposed. The proposed environment-friendly concrete block retaining wall system shows reasonable safety and can be a good construction method for retaining walls and river bank walls.

  • In this study, an attempt is made to apply the concept of fuzzy-bayesian theory to the integrity assessment of structure system, and uncertainty states are represented in terms of fuzzy sets which define several linguistic variables such as "very good", "good", "average", "poor", "very poor", etc. Especially, the concept of fuzzy conditional probability aids to derive a new reliability analysis which includes the subjective assessment of engineers without introducing any additional correction factors. The fuzzy concept are also used as reliability indexes for the condition assessment based on the proposed models, the proposed fuzzy theory-based approach with the results of PEM and AFOSM are applied to retaining wall.

  • In the design of bridges, the points of concem are the landscape design, the function, safety and economical efficiency. But most of studies have been performed on structural engineering. The study on the landscape design of bridges has not been done in korea. Therefore, in this research, the design method of bridges by the judgement of structural engineering and landscape engineering has been proposed, through the process to decide the shape of bridges. Also, the research studies a problem about the visual safety of the structural shape in the landscape design of bridges. The visual experiments applied to the seven models about the shape of hunch in bridge pier. The experiment was made in moving velocity of view point, steady looking time and track of eyeball movement.

  • This paper presents the application of system identification approaches for the safety assessment of RC-T type bridge based on the result of field test. For these problems, the moment of inertia of cross-sectional area and the natural frequency of bridge were used as structural parameters, the SAP90 program for the structural analysis and the SLP method for the minimum error. As a result, it is found that the proposed algorithm for this study appears applicable to real structures with reasonable complexity. It is shown that the introduction of approximate quadratic equations is more realistic and timesaving than the common methods.

  • We made a study of 3-D migration which could precisely image data of GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) applied to NDT (Non-Destructive Test) field for the inspection of structural safety. In this study, we obtained 3-D migrated images of important targets in structuresurvey (e.g. steel pipes, cracks) by using 3-D Kirchhoff prestack depth migration scheme developed for seismic data processing. For a concrete model consisting of steel pipe and void, the targets have been well defined with opposite amplitude according to the parameters of the targets. And migrated images using Parallel-Broadside array (XX configuration) have shown higher resolution than those using Perpendicular-Broadside array (YY configuration) when steel pipes had different sizes. Therefore, it is required to analyze the migrated image of XX configuration as well as that of general YY configuration in order to get more accurate information. As the last stage, we chose a model including two steel pipes which cross each other. The upper pipe has been resolved clearly but the lower has been imaged bigger than the model size due to the high conductivity of the upper steel.

  • 현재 국내에서 사용하고 있는 교량구조물의 성능평가방법으로는 크게 공용하중에 대한 내하율을 구하기 위하여 허용응력개념이나 강도설계 개념을 적용한 내하력 평가 기법이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 위의 방법들은 일반적으로 공용연수의 경과에 따른 재료 및 구조적 성능의 손실과 여러 가지 하중 및 환경적 요인들의 불확실성으로 인하여 발생하는 손상 및 열화를 반영하기 어렵다. 그리고 제원 및 재료물성치의 불확실성에 대한 기존 설계 자료의 DB 부족으로 기존의 평가방법에서는 이러한 시간의 경과에 따른 성능저하를 정확히 산정할 수 없어 이론상의 값과 실제 구조물과의 차이로 인한 불확실성이 존재 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공용년수 경과에 따른 시설물의 재료 구조적인 성능 및 거동분석 수행, 신뢰성 해석 수행을 바탕으로 교량 안전성 평가의 합리성 및 현실성을 제고하며, 구조 신뢰성 해석을 수행함으로써 실제 구조물의 강도 한계상태에 대한 파괴확률을 산정하고 그에 대응하는 위험도를 평가함으로써 안전성 검토를 수행하였다. 본 실험을 통해 1. 재료 강도, 부재 제원, 긴장력, 작용하중 등에 있어 설계 시 가정과 실제 사용 환경 사이의 변동성이 존재한다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 2. 연구 수행 결과 일반 정밀진단 및 해석에서는 얻을 수 없는 다양하고 중요한 결과를 산출할 수 있었으며 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 개선된 성능평가 기법이 제안 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • Red sedimentation substance contains large portion of Fe. The earth retaining structure of a tunnel and ground water containing more portion of Fe than other area are the major factor of this substance In case of white sedimentation substance, the most frequently founded ingredient is CaO, which is occurred in case grouting injection materials for ground reinforcement is transmitted into a tunnel system by ground water. This substance is doesn't affect safety of a tunnel Black sedimentation substance is often found in tunnels near station. This substance is a mixture of either white or red sedimentation substance and detergent material in station transmitted to a tunnel drainage system.
