This thesis is written to point out the fact that story-teller has to be also appointed to intangible cultural treasure. For this, I compared the birth tales of king keum-wha and al-yeung with ghene-gid-dang dangshin(house-ghost) Bonpuri in Che-ju Island and the place name yeun-gi tale in Yong-ghe-won, Whan-ju gun, Cholla-buk-do. And, I examined that the latter oral narratives are very useful to interpret the meaning of the former documents. Besides, using the In-ju tale(人柱傳說), I clarified that Oral narratives reflect the Korean people's consciousness structure. Through all these, I elucidate oral narratives have the value as cultural treasure. Consequently, I maintain the professional story-tellers have to be appointed to intangible cultural treasure.

구전설화에 바탕을 두고 있는 전래동화는 다양한 이본이 존재하는데, 어린이들을 위해 어떤 책을 선택하는 것이 좋을지, 즉 어느 책의 본문이 가장 좋을지가 늘 의문이었다. 이 연구는 이 의문을 해결하기 위하여 시도된 것으로 원문서지학의 연구방법으로 문헌을 비평하였다. 널리 알려진 전래동화 <해님과 달님>의 이본 6편을 대상으로 줄거리 파악을 통해 구조를 분석하고 이를 토대로 제목, 배경, 등장인물, 문체, 기능을 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 6편의 이본 가운데 어효선본의 본문이 비교적 우수하다고 판단되었다. 어효선본에서 조력자인 옥황상제를 하느님으로 바꾸고, 문체를 구어체로 바꾸며, 해와 달이 된 오누이가 서로 바꾸는 마지막 장면을 삭제한다면 이상적인 원문이 될 것이다. 이러한 원문서지학적인 연구가 축적되고, 이러한 역량이 갖추어질 때 비로소 사서가 내용, 즉 컨텐츠에 대해서 발언할 수 있게 될 것이다.

오늘날 자연 친화적인 홈 가드닝이 각광을 받고 있다. 이에 소비자의 욕구에 따라 새로운 형식의 가드닝 제품개발의 필요성이 제기되어 본 연구에서는 가드닝과 이미지를 공유할 수 있는 구전설화 중 하나인 '콩쥐 팥쥐전'의 등장인물 중 콩쥐의 곡식 찧기 과제를 돕는 조력자인 참새를 활용하여 콘텐츠를 개발하였다. 문화콘텐츠 융합제품은 가드닝 소품인 식물지지대의 끝부분에 사용하는 뚜껑제작이다. 제작 방법은 디자인 리서치를 진행한 후 UG NX프로그램을 이용해 설계하였으며 3D polyjet 방식으로 출력 후 몰드를 제작하여 실리콘과 레진으로 캐스팅 하였다. 제품제작을 통해 새로운 상품으로의 가능성과 창의성에 대한 대중의 지대한 관심과 흥미를 확인할 수 있었다. 향후 다양한 문화원형 고찰을 통한 문화콘텐츠와 융합된 제품개발이 활성화되어 경제적 부가가치 및 국가 브랜드 가치 제고에 기여할 수 있기를 기대해 본다.

Oral folk tale, which are organized stories that have been handed down to each district, includes a lot of mention about local specialties related to food. In folk tales consisting of linguistic signs, food plays a role in expressing not only instinct and desire but also order, exclusion and communication of human beings. Understanding the matters of concern or consciousness that community members of the time have put an emphasis on through food included in folk tales can be useful for better understanding the culture of the time and the food in folk tales can be a symbolic code. In this study, food mentioned in folk tales were classified into six groups, medicine, love, god, livelihood, provision and power focused on both inland and coastal regions that are referred to in most of the sixteen volumes of Korean Oral Folk Tales. In addition, the symbolic meanings of these groups were examined. This study can contribute to establishing the foundation of the globalization of the Korean food by determining the way Korea food can become a world class food. This study aims to reinterpret and combine culture and art with the food of Korea based on six symbolic meanings of food expressed in Korean Oral Folk Tales.
