Fun Space or workplace? The Role of Humor in Navigating Work-personal Space in South Korean Organizations (일탈적 행위, 유머: 한국 기업 구성원의 일과 개인 공간의 지각)

  • Organizational humor is generally perceived as a phenomenon that helps to develop happy feelings and positive workspace. While humor may affect organizational members in diverse ways, the ambiguous nature of humor may create uncertainty and unexpected outcomes. In particular, humor used by and between organizational members in diverse organizational situations (including physical office context and work hours) may influence individual's perception of space. Findings suggest that humor interaction acts as a form of deviant behavior that diverts from work. This momentary non-work event (humor) may serve as a ritual to influence individual's perception of space, from work to personal domain, and vice versa. The quality of interpersonal relationships between the communicators may also be influenced by humor. This shift in the nature of interaction (from work to non-work) may lead to blurring boundaries of work and work experiences. Therefore, organizational humor may provide insights into how workers interact, perceive, and manage work and personal space within organizational contexts.

Service Guarantee Influencing Customer Orientation in Tourist Hotel (관광호텔 서비스보증이 고객지향성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of service guarantees of tourist hotels on employees' perception of role clarity and customer orientation. Specifically, this study analyzed how the employees' perception of role clarity as a parameter, with the employees' reliability, guarantee-related communication, guarantee limitation, and organizational support as independent variables, affected the dependent variable, customer orientation. As a result of empirical analysis of employees in the first grade hotel in Seoul, it was analyzed that the higher the reliability of employees in service guarantee, the higher the communication and organizational support in the organization related to guarantee work, the higher the role clarity and perception level of employees. The higher the reliability, guarantee limitation and organizational support level of guarantee, the higher the customer orientation, but the guarantee-related communication did not show significant influence. The perception degree of role clarity of employees has a significant effect on customer orientation. According to those results of this analysis, this study examined the influence of each configuration of service guarantee of tourist hotel employees on customer orientation, and presented various academic and practical implications.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the perceptions of organizational members in new product development. This study suggested the successful new product development through the awareness among CEO and other members of the recognition of various factors that appear in the process of new product development by technical-oriented venture companies. Other members were more competitive in the technical area than CEO and were recognized as important strategic factors. As perceived market environment, perception of macro-environment is perceived by other members to be sensitive technical environment and economic factors, and law part is recognized as important. Recognition in a micro-environment has been associated with higher perceptions of employees and competitors, and siliar perceptions of marketing strategy and supplier relationships. This study suggested strategies for successful new product development by reducing the difference of perception between communication and environment of new products by SEMs and venture companies.

  • The purpose of this research is to explore the relationship between organizational cultural perception gap and organizational effectiveness. it has rarely been studied in the academia. The research of the organizational cultural perception gap provides entrepreneurs directions on how to manage a company. Since previous studies have been focused on cultural type or strength, this study aims to suggest managerial implication in detail by analyzing present-ideal gap. Furthermore, this study would discover how it is different according to a psychological mechanism. The empirical results of 134 employees showed that the organizational cultural perception gap (i.e. Clan) had a negative effect on job satisfaction and affective commitment. In order to reduce the negative effects of organizational cultural perception gap, it is necessary to reach an agreement with members on organizational culture, which is ideal for organizational level, and understanding the members' internal motivations is important for proper organizational management.

  • To lead the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of organizational member's, It needs to change the psychological attitude of organizations through perception of organizational members who recognize the organization's support in the convergence age. Therefore, this study establishes the Perceived Organizational Support as an independent variable, and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior as an dependent variable. Also, we want to analyze the effects of psychological impowerment and organizational engagement, explaining the psychological conversion process of individuals. The result is following ; First, Perceived Organizational Support has significant effects of Organizational Commitment and Psychological Empowerment. Second, Organizational Commitment and Psychological Empowerment have shown significant implications for Organized Citizenship Behavior. In addition, Organizational Commitment and Psychological Empowerment have been shown to be partial mediation effect between Perceived Organizational Support and Organized Citizenship Behavior. These findings reveal the specific process of Organized Citizenship Behavior. It is expected to contribute to various measures that can cause to the extra-role behavior of the organizational member's.

  • 본 논문에서는 KorBERT와 개체 인기정보(popularity)를 이용한 개체연결 기술을 소개한다. 멘션인식(mention detection)은 KorBERT를 이용한 토큰분류 문제로 학습하여 모델을 구성하였고, 개체 모호성해소(entity disambiguation)는 멘션 컨텍스트와 개체후보 컨텍스트 간의 의미적 연관성에 대한 KorBERT기반 이진분류 문제로 학습하여 모델을 구성하였다. 개체 인기정보는 위키피디아의 hyperlink, inlink, length 정보를 활용하였다. 멘션인식은 ETRI 개체명 인식기를 이용한 모델과 비교하였을 경우, ETRI 평가데이터에서는 F1 0.0312, 국립국어원 평가데이터에서는 F1 0.1106의 성능 개선이 있었다. 개체 모호성해소는 KorBERT 모델과 Popularity 모델을 혼용한 모델(hybrid)에서 가장 우수한 성능을 보였다. ETRI 평가데이터에서는 Hybrid 모델에서의 개체 모호성 해소의 성능이 Acc. 0.8911 이고, 국립국어원 평가데이터에서는 Acc. 0.793 이였다. 최종적으로 멘션인식 모델과 개체 모호성해소 모델을 통합한 개체연결 성능은 ETRI 평가데이터에서는 F1 0.7617 이고, 국립국어원 평가데이터에서는 F1 0.6784 였다.

  • 생체 면역 시스템은 외부의 물질로부터 생명체를 지켜주는 방어 시스템으로 자기와 구별되는 외부 물질을 인식하여 생명체를 지켜준다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 생체 면역 시스템의 자기와 비자기를 구분하는 특징을 컴퓨터에 적용해서 자기(Self) 파일과 구분되는 비자기(Nonself) 파일을 인식 가능하도록 생체 면역 시스템의 T세포를 모델링하였다. 모델링한 T세포는 자기를 인식하는 MHC인식부와 비자기를 인식하는 항원인식부로 구성되어 있으며, 자기-비자기 검사를 요하는 파일과의 매칭을 통해 자기-비자기를 구분한다. MHC인식부와 항원인식부로 구성된 T세포의 자기-비자기 인식률이 항원인식부만을 사용한 자기-비자기 인식률에 비해 높아짐을 입증하였다.

Public Perceptions of Aging Korean Society and the Influencing Factors (고령화 사회에 대한 인식과 영향요인)

  • This study aims to understand public perceptions of aging Korean society and related factors in the context of population aging and generational difference. Data are from 1,498 individuals older than 20 who were recruited through the quota sampling technique. Results indicated that the respondents reported less then three as the number of positive aspects of aging Korean society. Among the factors related to population aging, such as knowledge about aging, perceptions about family care, anxiety about later life, and perspectives about generational conflict, anxiety about later life was shown to be negatively associated with perception of aging Korean society across age groups. Respondents 65 and older showed more positive perception about aging Korean society and this association was conditioned by perspectives about generational conflict. Perspectives about generational conflict revealed positive associations with perception of aging Korean society among respondents aged 20-44 and 45-64, while no association was found among those 65 and older. Discussions focused on ways to alter perceptions of aging Korean society and needs for future research on this topic.

  • 최근 홈 네트워크라는 용어가 대중매체에 등장하고, 해외 선진국은 물론 세계 여러 나라들은 수년 동안 이러한 분야에 중점을 두고 연구 개발에 집중하고 있다. 현재 우리나라에서도 홈 네트워크에 관한 다양한 연구 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 특히 홈은 개인이 사용할 수 도 있지만, 다수의 가족이란 구성원이 존재하는 공간이다. 따라서 가정환경에 맞추어 능동적인 홈 네트워크 시스템이 작동하려면 다양한 상황과 각각의 상황에 맞는 서비스를 제공 받을 수 있어야 한다. 이를 위해 상황 인식 기반 홈 네트워크 개발 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 효율적인 홈 네트워크 구성을 위한 상황 인식과 컴퓨팅에 관해 고찰하고 이를 통해 보다 개선된 상황 인식 시스템을 설계한다.
