Perception Gap Analysis on Service Quality Factors of Academic Libraries (대학 도서관 서비스 품질요인에 대한 인식차이 분석)

  • Library and information service (LIS) of academic libraries plays an important role in the education and research activities of universities. Such importance of LIS facilitated much research that defines the quality factors constituting LIS and identifies the importance of them. The previous literature, however, has some limitations. The limitations arise from the interrelationship among the quality factors and the perception gap between users and providers on LIS quality factors. Despite the understanding of the interrelationship and the perception gap, LIS studies to deal with both dimesions synthetically are sparse. Therefore, this paper defines the interrelationship among LIS quality factors as a network model, then identifies the perception gap on LIS quality factors by exploiting the analytic network process. As an early stage study, this paper contributes to helping the quality improvement of acedemic LIS by considering the interrelationship among LIS quality factors and the perception gap on the LIS quality factors between LIS users and providers.

  • 장기 송변전설비계획 수립 및 최적 계통운용을 위한 각종 검토업무를 위해서는 현재 운영중인 기설 전력계통 구성요소와 함께 향후 건설예정 설비의 전력계통 구성요소에 관한 제반자료가 필수적으로 소요되며, 이들 자료에 대한 정합성 및 통일성 유지가 매우 중요하다. 그러나 한국전력공사(이하 한전)에서는 이러한 자료가 활용목적 등의 차이로 인해 부서별로 관리대상이 다르며, 자료의 수집 및 관리업무가 전통적인 수작업 방식으로 이루어짐에 따라 업무 능률성, 자료갱신 적시성, 자료의 정확성 측면에서 개선해야할 과제로 여겨왔다. 본 논문에서는 최근 한전의 ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning, 전사적 자원관리) 구축과정에서 송변전설비 전력계통 구성요소 관리시스템을 구현함에 있어 단편적인 자료 관리기능이 아니라, 설비의 계획으로부터 건설, 운영, 폐기에 이르는 전 과정에 대해 PLM (Product Lifecycle Management, 수명주기관리)기법을 적용하여 해당분야에 획기적인 개선을 이룩한 사례를 기술하였다.

Removal torque of a two-piece zirconia abutment with a novel titanium component in an internal connection implant system after dynamic cyclic loading (새로운 타이타늄 구성요소를 사용한 내부연결 임플란트용 지르코니아 지대주의 동적하중 후 나사 제거력)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate screw removal torque of the two-piece zirconia abutment with the novel titanium component compared to the conventional one-piece titanium abutment in the internal connection implant before and after dynamic cyclic loading. Materials and methods: Two types of the abutment assemblies with internal connection were prepared and divided into the groups; titanium abutment-titanium abutment screw assemblies as control, and zirconia abutment-titanium socket-titanium abutment screw assemblies as experimental group. A total of 12 abutments and implants were used of six assemblies each group. Each assembly was tightened to 30 Ncm. A cyclic load of 300 N at an angle of 30 degrees in reference to the loading axis was applied until one million cycles or failure. The removal torque values (RTVs) of the abutment screws were measured with a digital torque gauge before and after cyclic loading. The RTVs of the pre load and post load were analyzed with t-test, and P-values < .05 were considered statistically significant. Results: The assemblies of both groups survived all after the dynamic cyclic loading test without screw loosening. The statistically significant differences were found between the mean RTVs before and after the cyclic loading in both groups (P < .05). The RTV differences for the control and the experimental group were $-7.25{\pm}1.50Ncm$ and $-7.33{\pm}0.93Ncm$, respectively. Statistical analysis revealed that the RTV differences in both groups were not significantly different from each other (P > .05). Conclusion: Within the limitation of this study, the two-piece zirconia abutment with the titanium component did not show a significant RTV difference of the abutment screw compared to the titanium abutment after dynamic cyclic loading.

  • In the process of product design, shaping is the process of making a substantive existence, and ultimately it generates the outcome. The process of shaping is generally led by designer's initiative work, and in this process, various formative elements are used to generate the outcome. In this research, the basic purposes are to figure out the differences of elements which generated by the differences of consumer's and designer's view in the process of shaping of the product, and the characteristics of the affective responses caused by those differences. Also, it will examine how the consumers can directly participate in the process of the shaping of the consumer-participated product, and the feasible guidelines of design in which consumers' needs can be reflected more efficiently to the process of shaping. As a result, consumers and designers have certain degree of difference of view-point about the formative element of the shape. The difference was due to subjective common ideas of design in case of designers, and in case of consumers, it was due to their immature visual understanding. There is another experiment of affective response about the shape of the product. First, I established the sensible image vocabulary based on the shape of the product. And based on the vocabulary, I carried out the same experiments to the consumers and designers.

  • 은행나무 지재(枝材)에 발달(發達)하여 있는 압축이상재(壓縮異常材)와 대응재(對應材)의 해부학적(解剖學的) 특성(特性) 차이(差異)를 조직(組織) 및 그 구성요소(構成要素)의 크기 면에서 서로 검토(檢討) 비교(比較)하였다. 조직적(組織的)인 특성(特性)으로는 압축이상재(壓縮異常材)가 연륜폭(年輪幅), 횡단면상(橫斷面上) 가도관(假導官) 형상(形狀) 및 방사조직(放射組織) 비례상태(比例狀態), 세포간극(細胞間隙), 가도관(假導官) 선단(先端)의 굴곡(屈曲), 나선열(螺旋裂) 및 접선단면상(接線斷面上)의 방사조직(放射組織) 형상(形狀) 면에서 대응재(對應材)와 차이(差異)를 나타냈으며 구성요소(構成要素)의 크기에 있어서는 가도관(假導官)의 벽후(壁厚) 및 접선직경(接線直徑), 단열(單列) 방사조직(放射組織)의 높이, 이열방사조직(二列放射組織)의 수(數) 및 방사조직(放射組織) 밀도(密度) 면에서 압축이상재(壓縮異常材)가 대응재(對應材)와 차이(差異)를 나타내는 것으로 여겨졌다.

Elementary Pre-service Teachers' Perception on the Importance and Performance of Good Instruction (초등 예비교사의 좋은 수업에 대한 중요도와 실행도 인식)

  • This research analyzed elementary pre-service teachers' perception on the importance and performance of major factors that constitute good instruction, and attempted to find ways to improve pre-service teacher education. A survey was conducted to 157 pre-service teachers who were senior students at a university. The questionnaire consisted of four main areas of good instruction and major factors for each area, and the importance and performance of each factor were answered on a 5-point scale. As the result of the t-test on the difference between importance and performance, significant differences were found between the importance and performance of all 24 factors. In addition, the importance-performance analysis showed that there were 3 factors to be concentrated for the improvement, 9 factors to be kept up because of their good work, 9 factors to have low priority, and 3 factors to avoid excessive effort. Based on the results, the research proposed issues to be considered in organizing and operating the elementary pre-service teacher education program.

  • 연평균 강수량의 60%이상이 3개월 동안의 우기에 집중되기 때문에 가뭄은 한국에서 관리가 필수적인 재해이다. 또한 가뭄은 지역별로 피해의 규모 및 대상이 달라 대응을 위한 방안 선정에 차이가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지역 환경 및 특성을 반영한 가뭄취약성 평가 요소를 선정하는 과정을 구조화하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 가뭄에 대한 취약 요인과 유발 요인을 선정하기 위하여 Delphi 방법을 이용하였다. 조사는 5단계로 구성되었으며, 가뭄에 대한 인식을 광범위하게 조사한 후, 이들 중에서 주요한 요인을 선정하는 과정을 반복적으로 수행하여 최종적인 평가 요인을 선정하였다. 취약요인으로는 농작물 피해, 하천 건천화, 제한 급수, 수질 악화 등이 주요한 요소로 도출되었으며, 유발 요인으로는 기후변화, 저수율 등이 선정되었다. 선정된 요인은 지역별로 차이가 있으며, 특히 도시지역과 농업지역의 선정결과는 많은 차이를 보였다. 본 연구에서 도출한 평가 요소는 가뭄 취약성 평가에 적용되며 가뭄 시나리오에 따른 평가를 수행할 예정이다.

A Study on Development of 4Cs and Establishment of 4C Mix for Design Marketing (디자인마케팅의 4Cs 요소정립과 4C Mix구현에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, one of the outstanding characteristics in design field shows that design is combined with marketing. However, one thing shouldn't be overlooked that original marketing theories are not able to be applied to design in itself because of difference between marketing mind and design thinking. This premise leads the purpose of the study to aim to establish academic frameworks of design marketing by re-organizing conceptual elements of design marketing which can be more suitable for design environment. The study leads to review emergence backgrounds and circumstances of design marketing regarding the disciplinary characteristic of design. Then it examines fundamental concepts of traditional marketing. Next it, based on research results above, suggests the 4Cs as conceptual elements of design marketing which might be fit for design environment. Last it proposes 4C Mix which can be effectively applicable in design development process by restructuring newly suggested conceptual elements synergistically. The study result contributes to several implications in academic and practical perspective. First, it recreates theoretical concept elements of design marketing based on elements of traditional marketing area. Second, it suggests market-oriented framework which can be practically applied in the design development process by designers.
