Conditions for Disjoint Path Coverability in Proper Interval Graphs (진구간 그래프의 서로소인 경로 커버에 대한 조건)

  • In this Paper, we investigate conditions for proper interval graphs to have k-disjoint path covers of three types each: one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many. It was proved that for $k{\geq}2$, a proper interval graph is one-to-one k-disjoint path coverable if and only if the graph is k-connected, and is one-to-many k-disjoint path coverable if and only if the graph is k+1-connected. For $k{\geq}3$, a Proper interval graph is (paired) many-to-many k-disjoint path coverable if and only if the graph is 2k-1-connected.

  • For n points $p_i$ on the m-dimensional plane $R^m$ and a fixed range r, consider a set $T_i$ containing points the distances from $p_i$ of which are less than or equal to r. In case m=1, $T_i$ is an interval on a line, it is a circle on a plane when m=2. For the vertices corresponding to the sets $T_i$, there is an edge between the vertices if the two sets intersect. Then this graph is called an intersection graph G. For m=1 G is called a proper interval graph and for m=2, it is called an unit disk graph. In this paper, we are concerned in the intersection graph G(r) when r changes. In particular, we consider the problem to find the minimum r such that G(r)is connected. For this problem, we propose an O(n) algorithm for the proper interval graph and an $O(n^2{\log}\;n)$ algorithm for the unit disk graph. For the dynamic environment in which the points on a line are added or deleted, we give an O(log n) algorithm for the problem.

Feasibility Analysis on the Attack Graph Applicability in Selected Domains

  • In this paper, a research trend of attack graph studies for Cyber-Physical System (CPS) environments is surveyed, and we analyse the limitations of previous works and prospect the future directions. 35 among around 150 attack graph studies conducted within 5 years target CPS, and we inspect key features of CPS environment in the security aspect. Also, we categorize and analyze target studies in the aspect of modelling physical systems and considering air gaps, which are derived as key features of the security aspects of CPS. Half of 20 research that we surveyed do not reflect those two features, and other studies only consider one of the two features. In this circumstance, we examine challenges that attack graph studies on CPS environment face. Finally, we expect state-led studies or studies targeting open-spec commercial CPS will dominate.

  • Some sections of the highway are closed due to disasters and accidents. In this situation, it analyzes what kind of situation occurs due to functional failure in the highway network. The domestic highway network can be expressed as a graph. Blocking some sections of the highway can turn into a national disaster. In this paper, we analyze the robustness of the domestic highway network. The robustness of expressways refers to the degree to which the traffic conditions of the domestic expressway network deteriorate due to the blockage of some sections. The greater the robustness, the smaller the effect of some blocking appears. This study is used to evaluate the congestion level of one section of the transportation network, and a value obtained by dividing the section traffic volume (V) by the section traffic volume (C) is used. This study analyzes the robustness of highways by using the actual traffic volume data of the departure and arrival points of domestic highways, and analyzes the changes in traffic volume due to partial blockage through experimental calculations. Although this analysis cannot reflect the exact reality of domestic highways, it is judged to be sufficient for the purpose of confirming the basic robustness of the overall network.

  • 하천에서 부유사의 형태로 이송되는 점착성 유사는 입자 표면의 전자기적 점착력의 영향과 하천의 흐름 및 난류에 의하여 지속적인 응집과 파괴의 과정인 응집현상을 겪는다. 이러한 응집현상을 통해 플럭을 형성한 점착성 유사의 크기 및 밀도는 끊임없이 변화하며 침강속도 역시 변화한다. 점착성 유사의 이동을 예측하기 위해서는 유사의 부유에 직접적으로 관계하는 침강속도를 이해하는 것이 중요하며 많은 연구에서 점착성 유사의 농도와 침강속도의 관계를 그래프로 보여주고 있다. 일반적으로 그래프에서 침강속도는 처음에 농도가 증가할수록 증가하는 비례 관계를 보여주다가 농도가 어느 정도를 넘어 더 증가하게 되면 감소하여 반비례하는 모양을 그리고 있다. 또한 연구들은 농도와 침강속도 두 관계가 분명한 멱함수법칙(Power Law)을 가진다고 언급하고 있다. 그러나 이전의 연구에서는 그래프가 보여주는 두 관계의 분석이나 메커니즘에 대해 중점을 두고 논의된 바가 없다. 본 연구는 점착성 유사의 응집현상과 이동을 모의하는 1차원 연직 수치모형으로 수치 실험을 실시하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 농도와 침강속도가 갖는 관계를 면밀히 분석한다. 플럭의 크기 및 농도는 유사의 부유를 결정하는 침강속도와 매우 밀접한 관련이 있는 특징이며 특히 플럭의 크기는 침강속도를 결정한다. 즉 플럭의 크기와 농도가 갖는 관계가 침강속도와 농도가 갖는 관계에 크게 관여할 것으로 예측된다. 앞서 언급한 연구들의 그래프에서 비례 관계를 갖는 구간은 일반적으로 수면과 가까우며 농도와 크기가 비례하는 경향을 보이며 반비례하는 구간은 농도가 크고 난류가 강한 하상부근으로 두 관계가 반비례하는 경향이 밝혀진 연구가 있다. 점착성 유사의 농도 및 플럭의 크기가 이러한 경향을 띠는 것은 하상부근에서는 난류 전단과 그에 따른 플럭의 파괴와 응집의 결과로 나타나는 응집현상과 관련이 있으며 이러한 결과들을 바탕으로 점착성 유사의 침강속도와 농도가 가지는 관계를 분석한다.

Notes On Inverse Interval Graph Coloring Problems

  • In this paper, we study a polynomially solvable case of the inverse interval graph coloring problem. Given an interval graph associated with a specific interval system, the inverse interval graph coloring problem is defined with the assumption that there is no proper K-coloring for the given interval graph, where K is a fixed integer. The problem is to modify the system of intervals associated with the given interval graph by shifting some of the intervals in such a way that the resulting interval graph becomes K-colorable and the total modification is minimum with respect to a certain norm. In this paper, we focus on the case K = 1 where all intervals associated with the interval graph have length 1 or 2, and interval displacement is only allowed to the righthand side with respect to its original position. To solve this problem in polynomial time, we propose a two-phase algorithm which consists of the sorting and First Fit procedure.

An analysis of Point to Point Speed Enforcement Systems Using TRANSIMS (TRANSIMS를 이용한 구간과속단속시스템의 효과분석)

  • 기존 과속단속카메라의 한계와 더불어 차량의 속도 거동이 더욱 순화될 필요가 제기됨에 따라 국내에서는 2007년 12월 16일 영동고속도로 둔내터널에서 처음 구간과속단속시스템을 도입하였다. 현재 고속국도 6개소를 포함하여 총 8개소에서 구간과속단속시스템을 운영하고 있다. 하지만 해당 시스템의 도입효과가 명확하지 않아 시스템의 효과에 대한 의문도 꾸준히 제기되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 미국 Los Alamos연구에서 개발된 TRANSIMS(TRansportation Analysis and SIMulation System)의 시뮬레이션 결과를 이용해 시스템 적용 전 후의 거시적 교통류 특성을 수집하여 효과에 대하여 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 구간과속단속시스템의 효과를 분석하기 임의의 네트워크를 제작하여 모의실험을 해 보았다. 네트워크는 총 연장 12km의 직선형 구간으로 제작하였다. 모의실험에 사용되는 링크의 Cell크기는 3m로 설정하여 TRANSIMS의 내정값인 7.5m보다 더욱 상세한 결과가 나오도록 설정하였다. 링크는 편도 3차로로 설정하여 모의실험을 실시하였으며, 구간단속이 미치는 영향을 실제와 유사하게 적용하기위해 모의실험을 하는 링크의 제한속도를 구간단속 실시 전에는 160km/h, 실시 후에는 100km/h로 설정하였다. 구간단속 실시 전 링크의 제한속도를 160km/h로 높게 설정한 것은 실제 통행이 발생하는 속도를 구현하기위해서이며, 차종별 최대 속도를 제한하여 속도분포를 나타내었다. TRANSIMS를 통한 구간과속단속시스템의 효과를 분석하는 모의실험 결과 그림 1의 그래프에서 나타나는 것과 같이 구간단속 전 후에서 속도저감효과가 나타나는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 특히, 교통류율이 낮을 때 속도가 높게 나타나던 부분이 구간단속 실시 후 속도가 낮아지는 것을 보아 실제로 교통류율이 낮은 고속국도에서는 높은 효과를 기대할 수 있다고 판단된다. 표 1에서 구간단속 전 후의 주행차량의 속도변화를 살펴보면 과속운행의 비율이 상당히 주는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 이러한 특성 때문에 교통량이 비교적 적은 고속국도에서는 뛰어난 효과를 발휘할 것이라고 예상된다.

  • Precomputation and materialization of parts. commonly called views of a data cube is a common technique in data warehouses The view is defined as the result of a query which is defined through aggregate functions In this paper we introduce the concept of fine granule view. The fine granule view is the result of a query defined through aggregate functions and the range on each dimension, where the subdivision of each dimension is based on queries access patterns. For the representation and selection of fine granule views to materialize, we define the ANO-OR cube graph and AND-OR minimum cost graph. With these structures, we propose a fine granule view materialization method. And through experiments, we evaluate the performance of the proposed method.

Influence of Microcrack on Brazilian Tensile Strength of Jurassic Granite in Hapcheon (미세균열이 합천지역 쥬라기 화강암의 압열인장강도에 미치는 영향)

  • The characteristics of the six rock cleavages(R1~H2) in Jurassic Hapcheon granite were analyzed using the distribution of ① microcrack lengths(N=230), ② microcrack spacings(N=150) and ③ Brazilian tensile strengths(N=30). The 18 cumulative graphs for these three factors measured in the directions parallel to the six rock cleavages were mutually contrasted. The main results of the analysis are summarized as follows. First, the frequency ratio(%) of Brazilian tensile strength values(kg/㎠) divided into nine class intervals increases in the order of 60~70(3.3) < 140~150(6.7) < 100~110·110~120(10.0) < 90~100(13.3) < 80~90(16.7) < 120~130·130~140(20.0). The distribution curve of strength according to the frequency of each class interval shows a bimodal distribution. Second, the graphs for the length, spacing and tensile strength were arranged in the order of H2 < H1 < G2 < G1 < R2 < R1. Exponent difference(λS-λL, Δλ) between the two graphs for the spacing and length increases in the order of H2(-1.59) < H1(-0.02) < G2(0.25) < G1(0.63) < R2(1.59) < R1(1.96)(2 < 1). From the related chart, the six graphs for the tensile strength move gradually to the left direction with the increase of the above exponent difference. The negative slope(a) of the graphs for the tensile strength, suggesting a degree of uniformity of the texture, increases in the order of H((H1+H2)/2, 0.116) < G((G1+G2)/2, 0.125) < R((R1+R2)/2, 0.191). Third, the order of arrangement between the two graphs for the two directions that make up each rock cleavage(R1·R2(R), G1·G2(G), H1·H2(H)) were compared. The order of arrangement of the two graphs for the length and spacing is reverse order with each other. The two graphs for the spacing and tensile strength is mutually consistent in the order of arrangement. The exponent differences(ΔλL and ΔλS) for the length and spacing increase in the order of rift(R, -0.08) < grain(G, 0.14) < hardway(H, 0.75) and hardway(H, 0.16) < grain(G, 0.23) < rift(R, 0.45), respectively. Fourth, the general chart for the six graphs showing the distribution characteristics of the microcrack lengths, microcrack spacings and Brazilian tensile strengths were made. According to the range of length, the six graphs show orders of G2 < H2 < H1 < R2 < G1 < R1(< 7 mm) and G2 < H1 < H2 < R2 < G1 < R1(≦2.38 mm). The six graphs for the spacing intersect each other by forming a bottleneck near the point corresponding to the cumulative frequency of 12 and the spacing of 0.53 mm. Fifth, the six values of each parameter representing the six rock cleavages were arranged in the order of increasing and decreasing. Among the 8 parameters related to the length, the total length(Lt) and the graph(≦2.38 mm) are mutually congruent in order of arrangement. Among the 7 parameters related to the spacing, the frequency of spacing(N), the mean spacing(Sm) and the graph (≦5 mm) are mutually consistent in order of arrangement. In terms of order of arrangement, the values of the above three parameters for the spacing are consistent with the maximum tensile strengths belonging to group E. As shown in Table 8, the order of arrangement of these parameter values is useful for prior recognition of the six rock cleavages and the three quarrying planes.

Rheological Properties of Bread Dough Added with Flour Ferments by Seed Mash and Lactic Acid Bacteria (Seed Mash와 유산균 발효액을 첨가한 밀가루 반죽의 물성학적 특성)

  • This study was carried out to determine the rheological properties of bread doughs containing flour-ferments prepared with seed mash obtained by Koji incubation, yeast, and lactic acid bacteria, using farinograph, extensograph, amylograph, and large scale-dough mixer. According to farinograph, the addition of the flour-ferments did not influence the water-absorption rate of doughs, regardless of the kinds of flour-ferments, however, it increased development time and decreased stability of doughs. According to extensograph, both dough resistance and resistance-to-extensibility ratio increased with the addition of flour-ferments. Especially the dough containing the flour-ferments prepared with seed mash, S. cerervisiae, and L. brevis showed the highest resistance-to-extensibility ratio. According to amylograph, although the doughs containing the flour-ferments did not show the differences in gelatinization temperature and temperature at maximum viscosity with the control which does not contain the flour-ferments, they showed lower maximum viscosity than the control. They also showed lower development value and faster development time.
