  • 본 연구는 자동차가 갑자기 고장이 나거나 사고가 났을 때 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 이용해 현 사고지점 위치정보를 사용자에 의해 서버에 전송하고, 휴대폰에 내장된 GPS 모듈 및 Bluetooth를 이용하여 삼각대에 부착된 Bluetooth와 연결하여 자동으로 서버에서 현 사고지점 위치정보를 받아들여 분석할 수 있는 시스템에 관한 것이다. 서버에는 사용자에 의해 등록되어진 현 사고지점의 위치정보, 사고다발지역을 분석하고 관리하는 시스템을 구축한다. 이 시스템을 활용하면 운행 중 사고지점의 정보를 실시간으로 활용할 수 있어 2차 사고에 대한 예방 및 최적의 운행정보를 감지할 수 있다.

  • For the last few years, LBS has attracted considerable attention from many industries and societies as a result of propagated smart devices. LBS has a high utilization of mobile users as it uses user positions as a significant factor. Current LBS has only taken user position into account and it makes some limits. So, it is necessarily suggested that support for personalized services which consider user's motion, traffic condition, weather condition, time, personal information and preferences that have a huge impact on the accuracy. The purpose of this study is to design the inference systems with user's motion, preferences and schedules and provide users with the personalized information. To achieve this, Movement Ontology, User Profile Ontology, Schedule Ontology and Work Ontology should be constructed and based on this, smart applications were developed. Developed applications induced appropriately recommended results according to user's preference, motion and directions.

  • 트래픽 텔레매틱스 어플리케이션으로 알려진 차량 무선통신 서비스는 현재 교통에 대해서 차량 주행환경에 대해 더욱 안전하고 효율적으로 연구되고 발전하고 있는 추세이다. 차량 통신에서는 WAVE (Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments) 표준을 채택함으로써 차량 간 통신 과 차량과 기지국 간 통신에 WAVE 표준을 지킨다. 차량 통신에서는 다양한 주행환경에 따라 전파에 따른 경로 손실 모델이 적용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 파라미터에 따른 주행환경을 구분하고 구분된 주행환경에 따라 적합한 경로 손실 모델에 대해서 연구한다.

  • 안전 거리 미확보는 교통 사고 원인 중 3위에 이르는 큰 위험 요소이다. 이러한 차간거리 미확보로 인한 사고는 조금만 빨리 대응하여도 사전에 방지할 수 있다. 따라서 주행 중 실시간으로 차간 거리를 추정하여 제공하는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 안드로이드 기반의 실시간 촬영 영상에서 차량의 에지와 후미등을 이용하여 차량을 검출하고, 검출된 차량의 폭을 이용하여 차간 거리를 추정하여 제공하는 시스템을 제안하고, 구현 결과를 제시한다.

Effects of computer and demonstration scenario simulation using smart fire evacuation guidance on evacuation induction and time (스마트 화재대피 유도 컴퓨터 및 실증 시나리오 시뮬레이션이 피난 유도와 시간에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined how the fire evacuation induction service system using a smartphone navigation application in the event of a fire affects the fire evacuation time, and the following conclusions were drawn. 1. The evacuation time was reduced by 22 seconds when the navigation application was used in computer scenario simulation. Even in the demonstration simulation, the evacuation time was reduced by 40 seconds when the navigation application was used. This indicates that the navigation application is effective in shortening the evacuation time in case of fire. 2. As a result of the demonstration scenario simulation, the time until the end of evacuation was 39 seconds faster in the case of evacuation guidance than in the case where it was not conducted. 3. No bottlenecks occurred in the evacuation route during the demonstration scenario simulation. As a result, there was a difference in the time required to complete the evacuation between the computer scenario simulation and the demonstration scenario simulation.

Exploring the Temporal Relationship Between Traffic Information Web/Mobile Application Access and Actual Traffic Volume on Expressways (웹/모바일-어플리케이션 접속 지표와 TCS 교통량의 상관관계 연구)

  • In the recent years, the internet has become accessible without limitation of time and location to anyone with smartphones. It resulted in more convenient travel information access both on the pre-trip and en-route phase. The main objective of this study is to conduct a stationary test for traffic information web/mobile application access indexes from TCS (Toll Collection System); and analyzing the relationship between the web/mobile application access indexes and actual traffic volume on expressways, in order to analyze searching behavior of expressway related travel information. The key findings of this study are as follows: first, the results of ADF-test and PP-test confirm that the web/mobile application access indexes by time periods satisfy stationary conditions even without log or differential transformation. Second, the Pearson correlation test showed that there is a strong and positive correlation between the web/mobile application access indexes and expressway entry and exit traffic volume. In contrast, truck entry traffic volume from TCS has no significant correlation with the web/mobile application access indexes. Third, the time gap relationship between time-series variables (i.e., concurrent, leading and lagging) was analyzed by cross-correlation tests. The results indicated that the mobile application access leads web access, and the number of mobile application execution is concurrent with all web access indexes. Lastly, there was no web/mobile application access indexes leading expressway entry traffic volumes on expressways, and the highest correlation was observed between webpage view/visitor/new visitor/repeat visitor/application execution counts and expressway entry volume with a lag of one hour. It is expected that specific individual travel behavior can be predicted such as route conversion time and ratio if the data are subdivided by time periods and areas and utilizing traffic information users' location.

  • 현재 스마트폰 시장에는 다양한 모바일들이 등장하고 있다. 심비안과 윈도우 모바일이 주를 이루던 모바일 업계에 애플사가 iPhone을 들고 나타나 큰 반향을 일으켰다. 애플사의 iPhone은 앱스토어라는 새로운 시장을 창출하여 모바일 폰의 거대한 변화를 일으키고 있다. 그리고 이제 구글이 지원하는 안드로이드가 나타나 자리를 차지해 나가고 있다. 휴대폰뿐만이 아닌 다양한 모바일 기기에 안드로이드 플랫폼이 올라가고 안드로이드가 우리 생활의 구석구석을 차지 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 부산버스노선, 지하철노선의 어플리케이션이 다른 지역에 비해서 개발이 미흡한 실정이다. 시민들이 많이 이용하는 버스, 지하철에 대한 정보를 스마트폰에서 구현함으로써 사용자가 실생활에 편리하게 이용할 수 있게 버스, 지하철에 대한 노선정보, 대기시간, 환승정보, GPS를 이용하여 현재위치에서 역검색을 할 수 있게 한다.

  • Although the demand of Variable Message Sign(VMS) has become pervasive in fulfilling the ITS policy, there are still several unsolved problematic issues. The most critical ones of them are inequality and inefficiency of providing traffic information. This paper proposes the Infra-free Variable Message Sign in order to provide useful informations such as road condition, weather, and traffic of the area, where constructing the infrastructure of communication and power supply is relatively very hard. First of all, the characteristics of infra-free Variable Message Sign are studied and analyzed in deep because of differences between normal Variable Message Sign and Infra-free Variable Message Sign in the configuration and the operating method due to the nature of the Infra-free Variable Message Sign. Futhermore, for effective power management of operating Infra-free Variable Message Sign with limited power acquired through stand-alone PV system, new battery connection structure and dynamically variable power managements for the differently shown messages on Variable Message Sign are proposed. The proposed structure in this paper can be applied to not only power management for Infra-free Variable Message Sign but also power management for the various applications using parallel connection battery system.

  • Annually more than three hundred thousand lost articles are found in Korea. These articles are only being nuisances kept in lost-and-found centers and storing them consumes a considerable amount of costs. In this paper, we developed a mobile application that helps to find lost articles quickly by using NFC which is the next generation short-distance telecommunication technique. We aim to increase NFC utilization that at this time is only used in limited areas such as public transportation card and Smart Wallet. In addition to this, we seek to reduce the cost for keeping annually lost articles as well.
