생생인터뷰-맹광호 가톨릭의대 명예교수

  • 가톨릭의대 예방의학 교수이자 대한결핵협회 부회장을 지낸 바 있는 맹광호 교수가 최근 창립된 한국의사수필가협회 초대 회장직을 맡았다는 소식이 들려왔다. 의사와 수필, 잘 어울리지 않는 듯 어울리는 조합이다. 지난 3월, 40년간 몸담았던 교직에서 퇴임한 후, 더욱 바쁜 나날을 보내고 있는 맹광호 전 가톨릭의대 교수를 만났다.

우리나라 사서교사 양성현황과 수급문제에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Present Educational Aspect of Korean Teacher Librarians and Their Supply-demand Problems)

  • 우리나라 사서교사의 양성현황과 수요전망을 통해서 사서교사 양성체제와 수급의 문제점을 지적하고 대안을 제시하였다. 특히 사서교사의 교육체제, 양성기관 현황 및 양성인원을 바탕으로 사서교사의 양성능력을 전망하고, 사서교사 선발현황과, 한국도서관협회 기준, 학교도서관진흥법의 기준을 적용하여 필요한 사서교사의 수요를 분석하였다. 그 결과 사서교사 수급불균형의 문제점을 지적하였고, 미래의 수요에 필요한 적정 인원을 양성하기 위한 방법으로 일반대학 문헌정보학과 교직과정 승인인원의 재조정과 사범대학의 문헌정보교육과의 신설을 제안하였다.

특수교사들의 정보통신기술 활용에 관한 실태 및 인식 (Study on application of information and communication technology in special education)

  • 본 연구는 특수교사들의 정보통신기술 (ICT; information & communication technology) 활용에 관한 실태 및 인식을 알아보기 위하여 특수교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 103부의 설문지를 토대로 교사들의 ICT 활용 현황과 수업에서 ICT 활용에 대한 태도와 시각, ICT 활용과 관련된 교원 연수의 필요성과 연수에 필요한 교육 내용을 분석하였다. 특히 ICT의 활용 교과목이 대학의 특수교육과에 반영된 시점을 기준으로 교직경력을 구분하여 그 차이를 검증하였으며 두 집단에 대한 ICT 활용 현황과 수준은 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

마와 인조섬유 교직물의 물성 및 평가 (The Evaluation of Physical Properties and Hand of Bast/Man-Made Fiber Mixed Fabrics)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the physical properties and the hand of bast/man made fiber mixed fabrics compared to linen. The mixed fabrics were made by rayon, polyester and modal fiber as warp yarn, and ramie, flax, rayon/flax and cotton/flax as weft yarn. The crease resistance, drape, tensile strength/extension, water absorbancy and warmth retention were measured for test fabrics. The mechanical properties were measured by Kawabata system, and the hand value was calculated by previously developed equation. The results obtained from this study were as follows: The crease resistance and drape properties of bast/man made fiber mixed fabrics were improved compared to those of linen. The tensile strength of polyester/bast fiber mixed fabrics increased compared to those of linen, but rayon/bast and modal/bast fiber mired fabrics decreased. The extension of all mixed fabrics was increased compared to that of linen. The rayon/ramie and modal/ramie mixed fabrics showed lower warmth retention than linen. The mixed fabrics used rayon and modal as warp yarn showed higher water absorbancy than linen. The Koshi and Hari hand value of all mixed fabrics showed lower than those of linen. Fukurami hand value showed little difference between mixed fabrics and linen. Shari, Kishimi, and Shinayakasa hand value of rayon/bast and modal/bast fiber mixed fabrics showed higher than those of linen.

  • 이 연구는 사서교사들이 직무에 적응하는 과정에서 만나는 어려움의 내용과 그 원인을 규명하고 해결방안을 모색하였다. 대구와 경북지역의 사서교사들을 대상으로 심층면접하고 일상의 기록을 통해 사서교사들이 생활하는 학교사회의 문화적 구조와 특성을 재구성하여 사서교사가 효과적으로 직무에 적응해 들어가는 데 방해가 되는 조건들에 대해 탐구하였다. 사서교사들이 학교 현장에 잘 적응하여 효과적으로 기능을 수행하기 위해서는 교직 문화의 개선과 더불어 사서교사 양성 과정의 개선이 요망된다고 할 수 있다.

중학교 교사의 교직사회화 단계별 교직의식 및 직무만족도 분석 (An Analysis of Middle School Teachers' Teaching Profession Consciousness and Job Satisfaction by Level of their Professional Socialization)

  • The purpose of this study is to help improvements of education and effective management of school organization by grasping interrelationship between middle school teachers' job satisfaction and their teaching profession consciousness based on the different levels of professional socialization. To accomplish the purpose stated above, two questions were selected. First, how different are the middle school teachers' teaching profession consciousness according to the different levels of professional socialization? Second, how different are the middle school teachers' job satisfactions according to the levels of professional socialization. To answer these questions, a theoretical investigation into previous studies was made, and survey method was adopted for the inquiry. 500 questionnaires were given to teachers of 14 middle schools in Busan Metropolitan City, 470 questionnaires were collected. The results of the analysis may be summarized as follows: First, the teaching profession consciousness of middle school teachers show high level. Especially, there are much difference of teaching profession consciousness between the period of adaptation and maturity. Second, job satisfaction of middle school teachers show low level, and the job satisfaction points of compensations, school administrations, changes of educational environments are lower than the points of human relations, extension of profession, stress of duties. Especially, there are much difference between the period of adaptation and growth, adaptation and maturity, growth and maturity, growth and mellowness.

보육교사의 임파워먼트와 교직지향성 및 교직지향 이유의 관계 (The Relationships between Empowerment and Child Care Teachers' Intention of Teaching, the Reason for Teaching Intent)

  • This study was designed to examine the relationships between empowerment and child care teachers' intention of teaching, the reason for teaching intent. The subjects were 181 child care teachers from Chungcheongnamdo and the city of Daejeon, Korea. This study was conducted using questionnaires. The results were as follows: first, there were significant relationships between empowerment and child care teachers' intention of teaching and, the reason for teaching intent. There were positive relationships between decision making, professional growth, status, self-efficacy, autonomy, impact empowerment and child care teacher' intention of teaching and, the reason for teaching intent. Second, child care teachers' intention of teaching and the reason for teaching intent were affected by empowerment. Status and professional growth empowerment were the most predictive variables for the child care teachers' intention of teaching. The impact and self-efficacy empowerment were the most predictive variables for enjoy working with children, impact and professional growth empowerment were the most predictive variables for finding meaning in teaching, impact and status empowerment were the most predictive variables for opportunities to face ongoing challenges, and achievement motive. Status empowerment were the most predictive variable for reasonable pay and working environment, stability and skill. Therefore, status and impact empowerment were the most predictive variable for the reason for teaching intent.

예비수학교사의 교직 적성·인성 검사에서 분할점수 변화에 따른 다양한 신뢰도 탐색 (Investigation of Various Reliability Indices of Pre-service Mathematics Teachers' Teaching Aptitude and Personality Test based on Setting Cut Scores)

  • The purpose of this study is first to examine the relative influence of each error source and to investigate the optimal measurement conditions to ensure satisfactory multiple reliability coefficients based on the teaching aptitude and personality test for pre-service teachers. Participants were 33 students enrolled in mathematics education in a graduate school of education located in the Seoul metropolitan area from 2013 to 2017. The main results were as follows. First, the estimated variance due to residual was highest, followed by nesting of items within domains, graduate students, interactions of graduate students with domains, and domains. Second, total 96 items, with 12 domains containing 8 items in each domain, with cut score of 598, and original 210 items, with 14 domains containing 15 items in each domain, with cut scores of 615 or 716 were optimal measurement conditions to reach acceptable reliability levels based on the joint consideration of dependability coefficients, cut score dependability coefficients, adjusted dependability coefficients, and standard errors of measurement. Third, larger deviations between the arithmetic mean and the cut score indicated higher reliability coefficients of the test results. Finally, this study suggests ways for practitioners to consider how to apply generalizability theory for criterion-referenced tests and how to develop future research based on limitations.

  • 본 논문은 PSCAD/EMTDC프로그램을 이용한 제주-해남 HVDC시스템의 해석모델 개발과 해석모델을 이용한 제주-해남 HVDC시스템의 운전특성에 대한 분석 내용을 기술하였다. 제주-해남 HVDC의 안정적인 운용을 위해서는 HVDC시스템의 이해와 함께 제주교류계통의 계통특성도 같이 고려되어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 제주-해남 HVDC와 제주교류계통을 포함하는 시뮬레이션 모델을 개발하여 다양한 상황에서의 시뮬레이션을 수행하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 AC계통과 DC 계통의 상호작용에 의한 영향 분석과 교직연계계통의 계통운용 특성에 대해서 EMTDC 제주-해남 HVDC모델과 제주 AC계통 등가축약 모델을 이용하여 분석한 결과를 설명하였다. PSCAD/EMTDC는 EMTP와 더불어 전력시스템의 과도현상 해석을 위한 신뢰성 있는 프로그램이다.

가정과교사의 교직 의식과 교직 활동 수행 방식 (Home Economics teacher's conscious teaching and modes of teaching performance)

  • This study is used to understand the characteristics of home economics teachers that could to help develop personal development in home economics teacher and home economics education. The questionnaire survey was conducted on 150 home economics teachers who belong to either the home economics teachers' study association or Korean home economics education essociation. The survey was processed with frequency analysis, standard deviations, factor analysis, independent sample t-test, and reliability analysis using SPSS 12.0 depending on the contents of the research. The study results are as follows. First, for home economics teachers' conscious teaching, they build their own identities as experts, and have a vocation and sense of duty for their job. The culture of research and investigation community to study education and to maintain collaborative relationships with teachers of home economics teachers' associations has evolved. Second, home economics teachers have the ability to analyze and manage students' demands in order to perform teaching activities, and understand individual student characteristics. They understand new study trends and curriculum, develop sources for class, use appropriate teaching and learning theories, and create students' reflective activities. In addition, they grow their learning ability as specialist and study in self-oriented ways.
