This study evaluated the ecological value of waterside parks by investigating the animal distribution and ecological feature in 92 waterside parks and analyzed the change of ecological awareness by users and non-users of waterside parks through ecological education and promotion based on the investigation results. The result confirmed inhabitation of various animals including 9 endangered species (Pernis ptilorhynchus orientalis, Accipiter soloensis, Falco subbuteo, Charadrius placidus, Felis bengalensis euptilura, Lutra lutra, Kaloula borealis, Polyphylla laticollis manchurica, and Leptalina unicolor) in waterside parks. Although waterside parks were constructed to be hydrophilic areas for human use, some of them with high natural characteristics are valued as biological habitat. We investigated user status in 5 areas (Daejeon, Sejong, Cheongju, Kongju, and Buyeo) located at Guem river basin to evaluate people's perception of waterside parks and carried out the ecological education and promotion based on the investigation result. The survey of 200 people showed that there were more users of waterside parks than non-users and that people in their 40's showed the highest use rate. The use frequency of waterside parks located in Daejeon and Cheongju was lower than in other areas (Sejong, Kongju, and Buyeo). We considered it was because Daejeon and Cheongju were urban areas and had relatively more leisure areas such as sports facilities and cafe than other areas, and thus the residents had a lower reliance on waterside parks. Moreover, users used waterside parks more frequently when they were nearer to users' residence. It is because most users perceived waterside parks as the leisure sports facility and thus preferred them to be within walking distance. The users' perception of waterside parks as the ecological space "to be preserved" increased after the ecological education and promotion. The change of the perception was higher among users (80%) than non-users (38%). Therefore, ecological education and promotion were potentially more effective to people who user waterside parks and thus had a higher understanding of the characteristics and specification. In conclusion, 1) although waterside parks were constructed for human use, some parts had high ecological value for the distribution of endangered species and outstanding natural beauty, and 2) it is necessary to change the perception of waterside parks from the hydrophilic attribute to the conservation attribute. Such change of perception would contribute to establishing waterside parks that feature both hydrophilic and conservation attributes in the management or upgrading plan of waterside parks in the future.

In this study, in order to develop a manual for the AI convergence education competency strengthening project, project personnel were interviewed and an overall analysis of the business process was made. As a result of analysis, the manual includes methods to solve problems currently being raised in the field such as recruitment of graduate students, education program management, academic registration management, and budget management. In order to increase the continuity and efficiency of the project, it is necessary to build an administrative management site that provides information on the overall project, to strengthen publicity for general teachers about AI convergence education, and meet the educational needs and level of enrolled students.

최근 지식, 정보, 기술의 새로운 패러다임으로 대표되는 지식정보화사회에 대응하기 위한 준비가 전 세계적으로 추진되고 있으며, UN해양법 발효, WTD체제 출범에 따른 어장축소와 수산물수입 전면자유화 등 많은 어려움에 처한 수산업을 고부가치적인 수산업으로 육성하고, 경쟁력 있는 산업으로 육성하기 위해서는 어업인 상호간 지식정보교환, 수산기술의 보급 및 교육을 위한 평생교육 체계, 어촌관광자원의 홍보 및 활용을 통한 국민에게 사랑 받는 어촌건설이 필요하며 특히 현재 급속도로 진행되고 있는 사회 전반적인 정보화의 물결이 어촌에는 확산되고 있지 않으며, 정부의 정보인프라정책에도 소외되고 있어 어업생산기반인 어업인에 대한 정보화마인드 함양 및 어업에 대한 정보인프라 조기구축이 시급하다. 본 연구는 급속히 보급되고 있는 인터넷을 이용하여 정보화에 소외된 어업인이 정보화 격차의 해소와 보다 신속하고 살아있는 정보와 지식을 제공하고자 시스템을 구축하였다.

본 연구는 사망원인통계의 질과 밀접한 관련이 있는 사망진단서 첨부율이 지역간 큰 격차를 보인다는 사실에 기초하여 어떤 요인이 이 현상에 영향을 미치는지 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 1991년부터 2000년까지 10개 년 간 6개 대도시 및 9개 시도의 지역별 사망진단서 첨부율과 각 지역의 사망자, 신고자 및 기타 지역 특성을 사망신고자료와 지역통계연보를 통하여 수집하였다. 이 패널자료를 분석함에 있어서 진단서 첨부율에 영향을 미치되 불가피하게 누락된 요인의 영향은 가변수를 사용하는 고정효과모형을 이용하여 보정하였다. 분석에 포함된 변수 중에서는 사망자의 교육수준과 병원사망자 비율이 사망진단서 첨부율의 지역별 차이를 낳는 주요 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 사망원인통계의 추가적인 질 제고를 위해서는 국가정책수립에 있어서 사망원인통계의 중요성에 대한 홍보 및 교육과 농어촌 벽지 및 도서 지역 등 의료이용이 여전히 어려운 지역에서의 의료기관 이용률 제고를 위한 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다.

Recently, UCC, which stands for User Created Content, has emerged in various media industries including Internet. However, there exists little research regarding interaction to overcome the drawback of UCC, one way superficial form. In particular, little research has been done on the creation and effect of experiential UCC type. In the existing research, the interactive feature shows to bring the effectiveness in the field of education or promotion. So, in this study, we examine the problem of provider-centered UCC and to solve this problem, we propose a new experiential UCC form with interactive functionality by adapting the product test between UCCs. From the results of the analysis on the effectiveness of UCC after users experience the proposed UCC related to water industry, watching the interactive UCC represented the values of the higher levels in the aspect of recognition change than watching the existing UCCs. Also, the outcome showed that if this interactive UCC invigorates, UCC application will be very useful in eduction, industry, and promotion. From the analysis of the question instrument on whether an interactive UCC would be helpful or not, the positive response ratios was 84% in promotion, 70% in education, and 52% in industry, respectively.

The purpose of this study was to provide practical support methods of the library education and cultural programs for people with physical disabilities through the qualitative investigation. To collect data, focus group and individual interviews were conducted. Fourteen people with physical disabilities and six parents were interviewed. From the qualitative analysis, three themes and thirteen subthemes were emerged: (1) cognition about library, (2) difficulties of using the library, (3) support methods for activating library use. Finally, discussions, implications and future directions of library education and cultural programs for people with physical disabilities were presented based on the results of the study. We expect that this research can serve as a basis for further effort to develop library education and cultural programs suited for the unique needs of people with physical disabilities.

Most homepages of schools are available to publicize activities of education, to load educational materials efficiently. But we can't use current homepages of schools in making characteristic information or sharing educational resources. In this study, this CUBE system with RSS and mobile phone was designed and embodied for sharing characteristic educational activities and works in schools. Currently, CUBE is being under experimental test in elementry schools at Sancheong area, and instructors and students are operating CUBE for sharing education activities and making community in this system,.

This study aims to identify the effects of experiencing health promotion education on the present health status of elderly people. The subjects of this study were a total 10,532 elderly people (aged 65 years or older), and who were selected from the data of the '2017 Community Health Survey'. The health promotion education experience consisted of handwashing education/campaign, a non-smoking campaign and non-smoking education. The chronic disease control education experience consisted of education on hypertension, diabetes mellitus and arthritis. Psychiatric counseling consisted of consultations on stress, depression and suicide. The present health status consisted of the patients' ability to exercise, their self-care ability, their activities of daily living, their pain/discomfort and their anxiety/depression. The data was analyzed utilizing the chi-square test, the Mann-Whitney test and multivariate logistic regression analysis. The general characteristics of the subjects were 4,075 males (38.69%) and 6,457 females (61.31%). The average age was 73.71(±6.18) years old. The significant factors influencing the elderly peoples' present health status were age (OR=0.909, 95% CI=0.886-0.933), handwashing education/campaign (OR=2.463, 95% CI=1.703-3.563), a stop smoking campaign (OR=1.624, 95% CI=1.146-2.301) and consultation for mental problems (OR=0.533, 95% CI=0.359-0.791). In conclusion, to modify the personal habits that the elderly have had for a long time and to show the effects of education, long-term continuous education that focuses on the characteristics of the people will be effective.

This study aims to analyze and compare the activating factors of domestic and overseas scuba diving resorts. Our delphi survey was conducted three times in 30 experts who involved in operation and management including scuba diving resort management representative and training team leader. As a result of comparing the activating factors at domestic versus overseas, it was found that common important activating factors included expansion of convenient facilities at public diving places, installation of safety and medical facilities for divers, development of first aid system including AED and oxygen ventilator, requirement of convenient facilities such as water lift and toilet in diving boat, installation of diving boat screw safety system, local boat operation guideline, regular course training program for scuba diving, employment of professional scuba diving instructor and guide, communication and promotion through various SNS portals, promotion by divers' word of mouth, involvement in regional Diving Resort Association, involvement in Korean Diving Association, communication and mutual benefit with local fishing villages, and linkage policy with local tourism industry.

ITU에서는 매년 5월 17일 ''세계전기통신의 날''로 정하여 해마다 특정 주제를 갖고 이를 기념하도록 권장하고 있다. 이에따라 협회는 제3회 ITU교육 프로그램을 개최하여 경제적, 사회적, 문화적 발전에서 전기통신의 중요성을 공동으로 인식하고 전기통신에 대한 관심 증진 및 국제협력에 대한 인식의 제고와 ITU국내 연구단 활동의 격려 및 홍보를 도모하고자 하였다. 이날 교육프로그램은 ITU사무총장의 메시지 및 슬라이드 시청을 시작으로 한국통신 개발연구원의 김은주 박사를 초청하여 ITU 조직과 활동에 대한 강연회를 개최하였으며, TTA$\cdot$ITU-RS(구 CCIR)$\cdot$ITU-TS(구 CCITT)의 조직과 활동사항에 관해 협회 각 담당자의 발표가 있었다. 이에 제128주년 세계 전기통신의 날(World Telecommunication Day)을 맞이하여 ITU사무총장이 전세계 177개 ITU회원국에게 보낸 메시지 전문을 소개하고자 한다.
