  • 적응하기에 너무나 빠른 속도로 정보의 물결이 굽이치는 현실에서, 초등교육 현장은 지, 덕, 체를 겸비한 조화로운 인간 교육, 즉 참된 인간 교육의 필요성이 강조되고 있다. 그러나 교육 자체의 본질과 목적에 비추어 조화로운 인간을 육성하기 위한 기초교육이 어떤 모습을 띠어야 할 것인가에 대한 문제의식에서 Pestalozzi의 기본 사상, 초등교육의 원리, 수학교육학의 체계를 고찰해 봄으로써 우리의 초등수학교육에 시사하는 바를 찾고자 한다.

  • This study is to design Flipped Learning classrooms of learner-centered education on the pre-service math teachers education. The study aims to explore the feasibility of teaching and learning method. To achieve the objectives of the study was to explore the teaching and learning model. Flipped learing classroom design includes a main step of a typical process of teaching system. And we designed the model based on the ADDIE Model. This model contains the design steps and the Flipped learning component of the teaching and learning design model. Designed classroom presented in three steps that are before classroom, during classroom and after classroom.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an early childhood artificial intelligence education programs in kindergartens. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, a four-step program development procedure was taken: documentary analysis, program design and development, execution, and assessment. This study presented the purpose and goals, educational content, teaching-learning methods, and evaluation of the early childhood artificial intelligence education program in kindergarten. By implementing an artificial intelligence education in the process of developing the program, the practicality and utilization of the program were secured. This study is meaningful in that it derives practical support measures to apply and activate artificial intelligence education programs in the field of early childhood education.

  • This study briefly analysed the situation of rehabilitative education in Korean prisons; examined the purposes of the prison and prison library, and the relationship between the prison library and rehabilitative education; and explained the literacy, open teaming, self-directed study and higher education provided by the prison library.

  • 미국의 코넬대학(Cornell University)은 컴퓨터그래픽 분야에서 선두주자의 하나로서 알려져 있다. 수년동안 그들은 교육성(Dept. of Education)의 연구비를 받아서 교육용 소프트웨어를 개발하는 "Socrates(Study of Complementary Research and Teaching in Engineering Science)"라는 연구사업을 수행하였다. 이 연구사업의 목적은 컴퓨터를 이용한 교육을 증가시키기 위한 목적에서 수행되었다. 이 대학은 다른 대학들보다 컴퓨터시설이 매우 충실한 것으로 알려져 있으므로, 개발된 소프트웨어들의 사용이 모든 대학들에서 받아들이기에는 어려움이 많다. 그러나 다소의 차이는 있지만 컴퓨터의 사용을 강의실로 끌어들여야 하는 문제점은 어느 대학에서나 존재한다. 따라서 본 고에서는 Socrates에 대한 소개와 함께, 이의 이용방법에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

Science Education Based on Constructivist Perspectives (구성주의 특성에 따른 과학교육)

  • Constructivism has had a great influence on science education over the last two decades. The purpose of this article is twofold: First, to describe the characteristics of constructivism and, second, to suggest an ideal forms of science education in Korea as implied in constructivism. A review of the literature in the first area shows that constructivism is the philosophical/ psychological view which believes in the social nature of the construction of scientific knowledge and its learning. And the analyses of a few schools of constructivism suggests decision-making as a goal of science education, loaming as the active construction of meaning through interaction between learner and learning environments, and discussion and cooperation as appropriate teaching strategies. At the same time, the results necessitate teaching ethical aspects of science in the secondary schools, and also imply that performance assessment must be emphasized in evaluation of science education.

  • This paper's aim is to articulate the educational ideas and methodology of Confucian philosophy in contrast with western classical Philosophy. The ideas and methodology of western classical philosophy is manifested on "the similes of cave" in The Republic of Plato. "The similes of cave" teaches us that 1) philosophy begins with criticism of everyday's consciousness, 2) philosophy is based upon radical philosophical attitude, 3) philosophy request absolute knowledge of the ultimate, 4) philosopher enlightenments the people with absolute knowledge of the ultimate. Confucius said, "at fifteen, I had my mine bent on learning, ⋯⋯ at fifty I knew the decrees of Heaven, ⋯⋯ at seventy, I could follow what my heart desired, without transgressing what was right." This is a typical of philosophical life. Therefore, What the Great Learning as one of confucian Four Books represents, is 1) to illustrate illustrious Virtue, 2) to renovate the people, 3) and to rest in the highest excellence.

Determinants of Demand for Alternative Education in Korea (한국사회의 대안교육 수요 결정요인)

  • Using a sample from Korea Education Employment Panel(KEEP), this study attempts to ascertain determinants of demand for alternative education in Korea. It found that children's gender and duration of computer use exert a strong effect on demand for alternative education. Also, those parents, who show more interest in government's education policy; are less content with the schools their children are attending; and exhibit the higher likelihood of migration for children's education, appear to have the stronger tendency to seek alternative education for their children. Meanwhile, there was a significant difference between male and female students in the factors that influence demand for alternative education. For male students, duration of computer use and the parents' interest in government's education policy tend to matter. For female students, however, health condition seems to be associated with demand for alternative education. For both male and female students, those parents' who are more discontent with the schools their children are attending and/or have the higher likelihood of migration for children's education seem more likely to send their children to alternative schools.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 최근 학문분야별로 체계적인 직무능력 매뉴얼이 개발되고 있는 상황에서 전문대학원 교육이 현장에 필요한 맞춤형 인재양성이라는 교육목표의 수월성을 위해 역량 있는 교육과정 방안을 직무능력에 근거하여 살펴보고자 한다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 먼저 국내외 전문대학원 문화콘텐츠(융합콘텐츠 포함) 관련 학과들의 교육과정을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 전문대학원 교육의 목표, 내용, 방법에 대한 종합적인 시사점을 도출한다. 다음으로, 전문대학원의 고유한 전문성과 주체성을 가진 현장밀착형 교육과정 사례를 통해 교육과정의 특성화 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 국가의 직무능력표준이 정한 문화콘텐츠 기획, 제작, 유통 및 서비스별로 요구되는 능력수준, 정의, 능력단위 요소를 체계적으로 제시함으로써 교육과정의 개념틀(framework of curriculum)을 마련할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 최근 정보영재교육에 관한 필요성이 국가적으로 매우 중요하게 이루어지고 있다. 정보영재 교육의 많은 부분 가운데 중요한 영역 중의 하나가 프로그래밍 교육이다. 본 연구에서는 초등정보영재교육을 위한 C언어 학습시스템을 제공하는데 목적이 있다. C언어는 초등학생들이 접근하기에 다소 어려운 언어이나 정보 영재를 대상으로 점에서 프로그래밍 교육이 이루어지도록 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 시스템에서는 초등정보영재 C언어 교육을 위한 학습 코스웨어를 설계 및 구현하고 상에서 프로그래밍 실습이 가능하도록 하는 모듈을 제공하고자 한다.
