  • Internet becomes absolutely necessary tools due to rapid progress of information technology. Educational correspondence about an age of information demand is focused on a learner and remote education based on information technology WBI(Web Based Instruction) is a formation that remotly educate a learner using web, possible mutual reaction between instructor and learner, submit various studying material, has a good point to overcome spatial restriction. Internal and external standardization working is accelerated and recently XML security studies are activated using XML which is next generation web standard document format. In this paper, we propose multi-Certification of agent system using XML digital signature to satisfy security requirement.

  • Recently, internet applications for efficient cyber education have drawn much interests. The world-wide web provides new opportunities for cyber education over the internet. This paper presents a virtual lab system which can be used on the world-wide web. The proposed virtual lab system provides the improved learning methods which can enhance the educational efficiency in engineering experiments. If the students enter the virtual lab system on the web, they can make an experiment on basic electrical and electronic principles through simple mouse manipulation. Since proposed virtual lab system is implemented to describe the actual lab system, the students can obtain similar experimental data through it. Several sample Java applets are illustrated as examples.

  • Recently, there is change the environment of education due to development of Science Technology Specially, As education information on web increased by internet, using education web data by mean of medium that aids learning by computer. Also It studied method that used the Computer as learning medium through the CAI(Computer Assisted Instruction), ICAI(Intelligent CAI), and ITS(Intelligent Tutoring System). But legacy system are not support efficient method that learns to vary learner suitable learning method by individual level. Specially It is not suitable the education course to direct current course of education, and not consider different of student capability, aptitude, need, interesting, not maximized the individual growable power and effect of education. To solve the this problem, our paper suggest the web-based self-directed MITS(Multimedia ITS) that supply the needed the information on web, make the environment that can self-directed learning. To maximized effect of individual learning, our paper structured coursed, characterized, related learning contents in region of numeral at mathematics of primary school. And then integrated contents and class, design and implement the web-based MITS that consist of 4 module to escape from limitation of learner grade, learning time, learning place.

  • The study has developed the scope and sequence of information literacy instruction's curriculum for integration strategies of traditional reading education, library use education and information literacy. For this purpose, this study compares and analyze the scope and sequence of reading education, library use education and information literacy instruction's curriculum in Korea, American and Japan. Basing on the comparative result, it proposed the scope and sequence of information literacy instruction's curriculum in Korea. The scope and sequence which it proposes based on the skill and process of information literacy model, it includes contents of traditional reading education, library use education. Also, supposed scope take in all format of information media, the process and strategies of information use, library and information system. the supposed sequence divided into elementary school(1-3), elementary school(1-4), middle school(1-3), high school(1-3)

A Study on the effectiveness of computers and mobile devices on learning foreign languages

  • This study aims to show that "Computer-assisted language learning (CALL)" and "Mobile-based language learning (MALL)" actually influence education, deviating from the traditional "drill and practice" method in foreign language education and learning due to the development of information and communication technology (IT). Specifically, for first-year college students who have relatively poor English skills and do not feel enough motivation for English learning, I will produce educational video content using multimedia authoring tools and upload it to the e-learning system. Video content is configured to be accessed and utilized through various media such as computers, smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc. Ultimately, an exploration of educational value behind the utilization of IT devices in English language Teaching(ELT) and the Second Language Acquisition (SLA) theory behind effective instructional use of such technology are presented. That is to say, the effectiveness of language learning using information and communication technology (IT) is introduced. The article closes by suggesting how to use computers and mobile media for 'Flipped Learning'.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of creativity education on creativity of college students through educational medium such as film, animation, documentary, cartoon, advertisement, etc. Therefore, D university in Busan Metropolitan City held a 15-week creativity program for team college students in the second semester of 2016 "creative convergence". In this study, the data collected by the pre - test and post - test using the creativity questionnaire were analyzed by SPSS 18.0 program. The results of this study are as follows. First, the creativity of college students showed a significant difference in problem solving ability scores in the curriculum for media literacy. Second, the creativity of university students showed a significant difference in creative tendency score in media literacy curriculum. The fact that various media such as movies, animations, documentaries, cartoons, advertisements, etc. are educational media that can be easily accessed in everyday life, suggests that the improvement of creativity suggests educational effects to college students and future students.

  • We call WBI the educational program of this new teaching method which uses the web system. The instruction in WBI settings can make students feel more excited and interested in learning activities because it combined various sorts of multimedia materials such as moving pictures, graphics, and sound.. The diverse learning contents of this program not only supplement student's needs but also stimulate their creativities and application abilities. Based on the internet web courseware, this paper attempts to suggest the new program. This design implements the text, image and sound by using Explorer 5.0 in HTML, Javascript, Photoshop 5.0, Flash 4.0, and finally Gif Construction.

  • 수학 교수-학습에서 기호 연산 조작이 가능한 수학 응용소프트웨어인 Maple을 활용한 지도 방안을 모색해 보고자 한다. Maple의 내장함수를 단순히 이용하는 것보다 모듈을 사용하여 학습자가 학습내용에 능동적으로 단계적인 풀이과정과 수학적 개념을 찾아갈 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 위해 Maple Procedure를 사용하여Package를 생성하고, 이를 Cell sheet에 적용시켜, 이차곡선에 대한 일반화된 개념 확립과 교사 - 매체 - 학생간의 원활한 상호작용으로 학생들의 문제해결력 향상에 도움이 될 수 있는 교수-학습 모형을 탐색해 보고자 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 어린이들이 따분하고 어렵게 느낄 수 있는 재활용 교육 방식을 지양하고, 재활용품의 수집 및 분류 그리고 재활용 공정을 자연스럽게 체험할 수 있도록 하기 위해 어린이들의 흥미를 유발시키고 과학적인 호기심을 충족시키는 방식으로 3DMax와 DirectX를 이용하여 3차원 재활용 레이싱 게임을 개발한다. 결과적으로, 재활용 관련 전시관에서 어린이들이 직접 사용해 볼 수 있는 자료로 활용되거나 교육기관 및 관련 관공서에서 홍보 및 교육용 매체로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 기후변화, 도시화 등 다양한 요인에 의하여 도시 침수 위험성은 더욱 커지고 있다. 높은 인구밀도와 더불어 학교, 병원 등 인프라가 집중된 도시지역의 경우 대규모 홍수가 발생할 경우 수많은 인적, 경제적 피해로 이어지게 된다. 도시지역 내 침수 위험성을 최소화하기 위해 정확하고 빠른 도시침수모형의 개발과 더불어 사전에 이를 최소화하기 위한 방재교육의 중요성이 더욱 강조되고 있다. 가상현실 (Virtual Reality, VR) 기술은 높은 몰입감을 통해 사용자의 자발적 참여를 유도하여 기존의 교육매체 대비 높은 교육적 효과를 보이고 있다. 특히 침수 등 인명피해 위험성을 내재한 재해에의 VR 적용은 위험성을 동반하지 않아 더욱 효과적이다. 종래의 VR 기반 침수 방재교육은 침수의 동수역학적 거동과 대상 지역의 지리적 특성을 적절히 고려하지 못하여 방재교육에는 효과적이나 방재시스템으로의 활용엔 한계가 있다. 본 연구는 몰입형 파랑해석모형인 Celeris Base를 토대로 몰입형 도시 침수 수치모형을 개발하였다. Unity3D로 개발된 Celeris Base는 가상현실 장비인 HMD (Head Mounted Display) 기술을 이용하여 실시간 모의결과를 360도 가상현실 공간 내에 가시화할 수 있다. 도시지역 내 강우에 의한 침수를 모의하기 위해 연속방정식 내에 강우, 침투 항을 고려하였다. 침투모형으로는 도시지역 내 침수모의에 일반적으로 사용되는 NRCS-CN 방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구는 개발모형을 이용하여 2022년 8월 발생한 집중호우에 의한 강남역 일대 침수 사상을 수치적으로 재현하고, 이를 가상현실 모의환경 내에 가시화하였다. 모의결과는 집중호우 발생 시 지형적 특성에 따라 강남역과 역삼역 인근에서 집중적으로 침수피해가 발생하였음을 확인하였다.
