Cloud computing is an Internet-based computing paradigm that provides services in a virtualized form composed of plenty of resources sharable. In Cloud computing environments, gossip protocols are engaged as a method to rapidly disseminate the state information for innumerable resources. Although gossip protocols provide a robust and scalable multicast, there is a drawback that requires redundant messages in satisfying 100% of reachability. In our study, we propose a Group-based Gossip Multicast Protocol in order to reduce the message overhead while delivering the state information efficiently. Furthermore, we verified the performance of the proposed protocol through experiments.

In this paper, we suggest performance enhanced Mobile Web service architecture. Mobile Web Services are new technology that integrates different applications to provide interoperability. SOAP is a lightweight message exchanging protocol and is a principal factor that decides the Web Services performance. When a mobile Web Service is implemented with the Java technology, it should be implemented with both a SOAP message processor like AXIS, and Java Servlet container (e.g. Tomcat). This typical implementation is not efficient because it requires an additional communication port and process. In this paper, we suggest a new method that replaces this typical approach to enhance Web Service performance.

In IEEE 802.16 system, it is important to allocate resources appropriately in order to the efficient utilization of resources among a variety of real-time and non real-time packets. although a lot of the real-time and non real-time packet scheduling schemes in OFDMA system have been proposed, it need to be modified to apply to IEEE 802.16 system. Since IEEE 802.16 supports five kinds of service classes, it is important to take QoS constraints of these classes into consideration. In this paper, we propose a efficient scheduling scheme to support various services by considering the QoS constraints of each classes.

The aims of this study are to investigate the influence of the newly developed cataloging rule, RDA on the LIS cataloging education and to propose Korean LIS cataloging curriculum in a time of RDA. This study specially intended to examine the coexistence of the AACR and RDA and its implications on the LIS cataloging curricula design in the limited time of the course of study. For this purpose, this study examined the rapidly changing cataloging circumstances and how it affects on the cataloging education in LIS. This study also explored the students' as well as instructors' opinion and demand on cataloging education specially regarding RDA. As a result, this paper designed a cataloging education model including RDA curriculum and it also suggested cataloging syllabus based on the education model.

Recently, elementary schools has assigned students information communication technology class for 1 hour in every week, all more than 34 hours a year during the discretion activity classes in every grades. However, the guidelines for information communication technology class is only suggested, but the teaching materials that can be used in the information communication technology class are not various. We did an analysis of a guide to information communication technique education that the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development announced. And then, We developed the materials which can improve fifth and sixth grade children's creativity. We tried to find out how this materials affect their creativity.

다양한 사회의 문제를 여러 각도에서 담고 있는 신문은 교과서의 한계를 보완하고자 하고 다양한 교수학습방법을 필요로 하는 교육계의 요구와 결합하며 NIE학습을 등장시켰다. 정보통신기술의 발달과 시대적 요구에 의해 종이 신문은 인터넷 신문으로 변화하였고, NIE학습은 정보통신기술의 인프라 기반이 완비된 학교, 가정에서 지식정보화 사회의 급변하는 환경 변화에 능동적으로 대응해 나갈 수 있는 창의적이고 전문적인 인적자원의 육성을 목적으로 하는 이러닝(e-learning)의 학습방법과 결합하여 e-NIE로 발전하였다. e-NIE학습이 이루어지기 위한 필요조건을 알아보고, 기존의 NIE학습이 가지고 있던 장점을 살리면서 이러닝의 환경 속에서 보다 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 e-NIE의 학습 활동 종류를 4가지 영역으로 나누어 각 영역의 활동을 구체적으로 제시해 보았다.

대학이 급변하는 환경에 적극적으로 대처하고, 경쟁력을 제고하기 위해서는 대학 시스템의 근본적인 변화가 필수적이다. 이를 위해서 대학은 기존의 교육 공급자 입장에서의 행정 위주의 운영 방식에서 탈피하여 대학 본연의 목표를 재정립하고 교육과 연구의 수월성 을 확보하여야 하며, 이 목표를 성취하기 위해 대학의 자원을 합리적으로 투입·분배하는 과 정과 방법을 설계·구현하여야 한다. 대학의 정보화는 이러한 경영혁신의 중요한 추진 도구 가 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 대학 본연의 목표인 교육·연구를 효과적으로 지원하기 위한 대학정보화 추진의 틀을 제시하였고, 정보화 대상 프로세스들 중에서 핵심 프로세스를 분 류·정리하였으며 정보화 추진 전략을 수립하였다. 또한, 대학정보화의 사례를 들어 구체적 인 정보화 추진 정보화 추진 과정을 소개하였다.

학교 현장에서 이루어지는 교육의 대부분은 교수자 중심의 내용 전달식이다. 프로그래밍 언어와 같은 실습을 필요로 하는 학습에 교수자 중심의 교육을 적용할 경우 문제점이 많다. 실습을 통한 활용보다 언어 자체의 기능 설명에 비중을 두기 때문에 학생들의 흥미와 관심을 유발하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 최근 주목받고 있는 Web 2.0 패러다임인 참여, 공유 및 개방을 교육 분야에 적용하는 것은 당연할 것이다. 본 연구는 C 프로그래밍 언어 학습에 있어서 Web 2.0 클라이언트 기술 중 Ajax를 활용하여 학습자의 참여를 북돋우며, 또한 학습 시스템의 효율적인 자원 사용을 도모하고자 한다.

대부분의 대학생들은 재학기간 중에 학교에서 운영되는 교육프로그램, 자원봉사, 어학연수, 동아리활동 등 다양한 경험을 하게 된다. 최근에는 학교에서 운영하는 교육프로그램이 더욱 다양해지고 많은 학생들이 참여하고 있다. 하지만 학교에서는 학생들이 어떤 활동을 했는지 효율적으로 관리하고 참여 학생의 적극적인 참여율 유도가 필요가 있지만, 이를 효율적으로 관리하는 것은 어려운 일이다. 본 연구는 학교에서 시행중인 다양한 프로그램들에 대하여 학생들이 참여함에 따라 학생들의 참여현황을 조사하여 관리하고 참여율과 학과별 통계를 Dashboard로 열람할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하여 운영하였다. 교육 참여 관리 시스템을 활용함으로써 담당자의 업무 효율을 기대할 수 있고 체계적인 학생들의 교육 프로그램을 효율적으로 모니터링하고 관리할 것으로 기대된다.

현재 교육기관에서 사용되고 있는 컴퓨터 기자재 관리 방법은 컴퓨터 기자재의 사용 현황, 관리 실태 등에 대한 실시간 모니터링이 힘들고, 기자재 조사에 많은 인력과 시간이 요구되는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 클라이언트-서버 모델을 이용하여 하급 기관에서는 컴퓨터에서 적절한 자료를 데이터베이스에 전송하고, 상급 기관에서는 교육기관의 컴퓨터 기자재 관리를 실시간으로 할 수 있는 교육 기자재 관리 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템을 사용함으로써 기자재 관리에 소요되는 많은 시간과 인력 낭비를 줄일 수 있으며, 컴퓨터 기자재에 대한 실시간 관리를 통해 분산된 교육용 컴퓨터 자원의 효율적인 관리를 가능하게 할 것이다.
