  • The latest programming paradigm has been mostly geared toward object-oriented programming and visual programming based on the object-oriented programming. However, object-oriented programming has a more difficult and complicated concept compared with that of existing structural programming technique; thus it has been very difficult to educate students in the IT-related department. This study designed and implemented a Java robot training kit in which the Java virtual machine is built so that it may enhance the desire and motivation of students for learning the object-oriented programming using the training kit which is possible to attach various input and output devices and to control a robot. The developed Java robot training kit is able to communicate with a computer through the USB interface, and it also enables learners to manufacture a robot for education and to practice applied programming because there is a general purpose input and output port inside the kit, through which diverse input and output devices, DC motor, and servo motor can be operated. Accordingly, facing the IT fusion era, the wall between the academic circles and the major becomes lower and the need for introducing education about creative engineering object-oriented programming language is emerging. At this point, the Java robot training kit developed in this study is expected to make a great commitment in this regard.

  • Educational robot was introduced as an effective educational tool is to foster scientific creativity and learn the basic principles of science are applied to change the configuration of the educational after-school learning kits for science education. SMEs as a tool to foster scientific creativity center and a variety of educational robot technology and the wide range of games for students and robotic technology development, existing e-Learning by downloading mp3 music or learning content for the robot, such as the provision of specialized content Although the technology is still being developed to take advantage of the professional community formation is insufficient side. Currently, one-point linkage drag Smart Touch control dynamic motor development does not need this motor development is possible for users to easily.

  • Purpose: This study aimed at understanding meal kit purchasing behavior and investigating its relationship with the Nutrition Quotient (NQ) of young adults. Methods: We conducted a survey on adults in their 20s and 30s covering their meal kit purchase experience, satisfaction, recognition, and purchase intention, and examined the relationship between the meal kit purchase and their NQ from February to March 2021. Results: Among the 404 subjects, 37.9% of males and 48.0% of females had experience in purchasing a meal kit (p < 0.001). The highest response indicated that the purchase cost of meal kits was 10,000-20,000 Won at a time, and the frequency of purchase was less than once a month. The convenience of cooking was the main reason for the purchase of meal kits, which were consumed mainly in the evening with family. The satisfaction with the purchase experience of a meal kit was rated 3.6 points for males and 3.7 points for females out of 5 points, and the satisfaction experienced by women was significantly higher than men in terms of freshness of ingredients, packaging design, and adequacy of the quantity of content (p < 0.05). Recognition of the meal kit was rated 3.5 points for males and 3.7 points for females out of 5 points. The purchase intention of the meal kit was rated 3.8 points for those with prior purchase experience, 3.2 points for the non-experienced, 3.3 points for males, and 3.6 points for females out of 5 points each (p < 0.001). The NQ score of dietary behavior in females with experience of meal kit purchases was significantly higher than non-experience (p < 0.05). Conclusions: The dietary behavior of female showed a significant difference by the meal kit purchase experience. It is necessary to understand the consumers' meal kit purchasing behavior to enable the development of various health-oriented meal kit products.

  • Recently, makers who do not have huge production equipments and who actually make products that they thought by utilizing digital production tools are emerging as new trends. As these makers shared how to make products, the 'maker movement', an open source manufacturing movement, spread. In the case of the domestic market, the maker movement is being activated through the government's policy support. However, compared to developed countries, there is not enough awareness and environment of maker culture, and only open platform hardware and software are used without specialized education / development equipment or kit for maker. Therefore, in this paper, we implement a MQTT protocol based Internet object maker kit for real service interworking rather than simple data connection through hardware connection.

  • In the fourth industrial revolution era triggered by the popularization of smart phones, Human daily life and all industrial sites are becoming software and intelligent. With the universal software education for all students nationwide from 2018, Demand is surging, and hardware is interlocked using software technology and Arduino. However, expensive control boards and dozens of different electronic components have to be prepared separately and problems are occurring. In addition, if the same training is repeated, Significantly many parts are lost or destroyed. Being prepared to start a new class is also becoming a very serious problem. In this study, we implement VR technology based on virtualization technology of Arduino board and various electronic parts. In addition, 3D graphics realistic Arduino kit and various electronic components are provided in API form. In this paper, we propose a method of interworking software and virtual hardware on virtualization base.

  • Microprocessor is widely used in various industries. So it is very important to learn about it. But it is very difficult because students must know about both hardware and software of it. Student usually learn about it with a complete educational product in many technical high school. It make them to have no chance to mixed various electronic parts such as sensors, motors and so on. It cause them to low the creative product making ability. So we adjust new course with the arduino instead of the complete educational product to microprocessor education. It help student to high the electronic part mixing ability and the creative electronic product making ability.

  • Elementary students are studying software training to teach coding education using text-based languages such as Python. In general, these higher-level languages support learning activities in combination with a kits for physical computing or various programming languages, in contrast to block-coding programming languages. In this study, we conducted a coding project based on computational thinking using the ARCS model to overcome the difficulties of text-based language. The results of the experiment show that students are generally confident and interested in programming. Especially, the understanding of repetition, function, and object was high in the change of computational thinking power, so this trend is believed to be due to the use of text-based languages and the Python module.

  • The aim of this thesis is to develop a robot C programming curriculum with the subject of the students in the middle & High School and to prove the effect of the programming on creativity and programming ability. The content of the robot C programming curriculum consists of the introduction, basic knowledge and assembling of the robot (usage of kits and the theory of mechanism); the learning of the robot c programming; the assigned robot making; the original robot making, which is ultimately designed to improve the creative robot programming ability of students. The subjects are divided into two groups(38); one groups(11) taking the course of C++programming and the other(27) taking the robot C programming as well as C++programming. Then each group's improvement of creativity and programming ability is measured in both pretest and posttest. The students taking the robot C programming curriculum gain the product of the assigned robot and the original robot. Besides, it turns out that the curriculum have a meaningful effect in that students acquire the enhanced creativity according to the result of TTCT Creativity Test. Self evaluation also indicates the improvement of C++programming ability.
