이는 학문적인 측면에서 기존의 통합적인 웹사이트 평가에 대한 연구의 확장을 가능케 하였고, 개인사용자 측면에서는 좀더 좋은 정보를 제공하는 검색 서비스에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있는 계기가 되었다고 할 수 있다. did not showed any characterized sign of acute or subacute liver damage or intestine lesion. • In the study, we introduce the trend in domestic and foreign web accessibility, as well as the legal system that ensures web accessibility. Based on Korean Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (KWCAG)1.0, we investigated the web content accessibility of 80 tertiary health-care hospitals and general hospitals in Korea. We evaluated accessibility by combining accessibility-based criteria (ABC) with usability-based criteria (UBC). ABC was limited to an alternative text for Guideline 1, using a small number of frames and keyboard accessibility for Guideline 2. UBC checked the voice service (TTS), resizing text, providing multi-lingual websites, and disclosing web accessibility policy. KADO-WAH2.0 was used for representing the compliance rate. The evaluation result was a considerable improvement from previous results, even though the rate of compliance with web accessibility was generally insufficient. There was a significant difference between those medical centers which did and did not comply with web accessibility. Incidentally, many hospitals were found to have attempted to confront and come to terms with web accessibility. In future, the following factors are advisable for medical centers with publicity or public interest: they must employ active and aggressive promotion of establishment of independent accessibility guidelines to secure web accessibility, they should effect an improvement of the realization of web accessibility, there can be constant education and promotion, and there can be an institutional supplementation, as well as others.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the social perception of disaster safety education for young children based on Textom big data and to explore the direction of young children's disaster safety education. Researchers collected and analyzed online text data using the keywords 'young children+disaster+safety education' from portal websites from 2014 to 2017. The raw data were then subjected to first and second data refinement process. Based on the frequency analysis results, 50 keywords were selected, and the selected keywords were converted into matrix data for network analysis. The results of the study are: first, the most frequently appeared keyword together with young children's disaster safety education was 'education', followed by 'experience', 'kindergarten', 'prevention', and 'school.' Second, keywords with high centrality in the analysis of centrality also were 'education', 'experience', and 'prevention'. In addition, keywords like 'prevention', 'life', and 'evacuation' appear higher in connection-centricity than frequency ranking, which means that the degree of connection between the words is high. These results suggest that young children need education in during early childhood in order to improve their disaster safety skills, and disaster safety education should be accomplished through 'prevention' and 'experience' in early childhood education institutions.

  • This paper proposes an educational community service system that manages information of good quality intensively without overlapping, and that provides an effective searching function by using a personal community with many user layers. This system raises the efficiency of searching and management by using Metadata and Category. It is a self-leading educational community system that brings merits into relief and improves weak points. We constructed an autogenous Blog chain service as a tool which verifies this system, which is called 'EduLOG(Educational Blog) service' Especially we extracted Metadata suitable for this service, which is on the basis of worldfamous Dublin Core Metadata. And we made a new category on the basis of categories which were proposed by some educational community sites and public educational authorities, and we applied it to this system. To ascertain whether this service system provide adequate function or not, we made a questionnaire on the basis of the appraisal table in websites, and evaluated it at the request of experts. In view of the results so far achieved, it returned good scores (above 3.5/5.0) in accuracy of evaluation, low-end reappearance ratio, easiness of registering and approaching information, and intensive management of a categorical information, confirming the efficiency of the ECSS system. Therefore we believe firmly that the ECSS system will play a efficient information storing and searching roles in the near future.

  • The Internet is changing or even eliminating old organizational schemes, including education. A growing number of universities and graduate schools are creating curriculums to reflect these changes. Business schools have prepared their students for a corporate world to offer some E-commerce courses. While E-commerce courses are proliferating in computer and information science schools, they are also spreading to other university departments including law and advertising. The objective of this paper is to suggest a prototype E-commerce curriculum for E-commerce departments. First, we survey and compare the E-commerce curriculum offered in many universities. Second, we provide the new E-commerce curriculum model for Korean universities. E-courses are classified as three knowledge areas of E-commerce courses such as business, technology, and core. We prioritize E-courses selected and rank their importance through an exploratory study for suggesting the undergraduate or graduate curriculum.

  • The presidential records reflect the era of the times, and it has valuable evidence to support the administrative transparency and accountability of government operations. People's interest in the presidential records increased in response to its recent leak. The presidential archives were moved to Sejong in line with its desire to provide public-friendly services. This study will help users access the archives and utilize archiving information. The Ministry of Education introduced the free learning semester, which all middle schools have began conducting since 2016. The free learning semester provides an environment where education can be provided by external organizations. As middle school students are still unfamiliar with archives, the free learning semester provides a good environment for accessing archives and records. Although it serves as an opportunity to publicize archives, existing related studies are insufficient. This study aims to develop the free learning semester program using the presidential archives and records for middle school students during the free learning semester based on the analysis of the domestic and foreign archives education program. This study shows a development of the education program using presidential archives and records through literature research, domestic and foreign case analysis, and expert interview. First, through literature research, this research understood the definition of the free learning semester as well as its types. In addition, this research identified the four types of the free learning semester education program that can be linked to the presidential archives. Second, through website analysis and the information disclosure system, this research investigated domestic and foreign cases of the education program. A total of 46 education programs of institutions were analyzed, focusing on student-led education programs in the foreign archives as well as the education programs of the free learning semester in domestic libraries and archives. Third, based on these results, This study proposed four types of free learning semester education programs using the presidential archives and records, and provided concrete examples.

The terminologies relevant to child and family domains in North Korea were selected from various sources including dictionaries that are developed to compare South-North Korean languages, reports and websites by ministry of unification in South Korea, magazines and news articles about North Korean daily life. The collected terminologies were analyzed using the content criteria on core concepts, 'development' and 'relations' from the 2015 proclamation of the ministry of education on home economics curriculum. The major differences between the two Koreas were as follows: first, the terms categorized under human development were more divergent compared to the terms categorized under family relations. Specifically, there were big differences in terminologies in the love and marriage section, the life and labor in pregnancy section in human development and the child caring section in family relations. Second, dissimilar terms were more frequently appeared in content area of kinship, marriage, and child-rearing. Third, the discrepancies of terms between the two Koreas were brought about primarily by differences in political and social system, language refinement, and transcription techniques. These findings including the terminology list would be a practical resources providing for students to familiarize with the differences in the usage of terms and for teachers to develop a home economics educational program in provision of reunification of the Koreas.

  • The increased interest in consumer health information(CHI) has brought about a rapid increase in CHI resources. There are diverse means for obtaining such information, and one CHI acquisition route is the public library. In the U.S. public libraries, the demand for CHI reference services is increasing, and a variety of projects to promote these services are in progress. On the other hand, Korean public library services for CHI is at a very basic level, and thus a very small amount of such research could be found. This study drew suggestions from a literature review of research studies in the U.S. and Canada, and analyzed public library CHI services in Korea. The findings are as follows. 1) Only 17.25% of public libraries in Korea provided CHI service, and it evidences very low needs and awareness for CHI services in Korea. 2) Only three kinds of services including CHI-related websites, users training, and promotional and marketing were provided, and only 13(1.74%) of libraries surveyed offered more than two kinds of services. 3) There were no CHI librarians, nor did any librarians receive CHI-related education. 4) ILL services, outreach services, and cooperation with CHI- and medical-related institutions for CHI services were not found. Therefore, this study suggests that more research on delivery strategies for CHI services should be conducted in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the health information use experience of middle-aged people in their 40s and 50s and to observe and analyze their health information search behaviors according to health consciousness and health information orientation. This study uses Information Foraging Theory with the concept of information scents which leads users to detect and collect cues in information searching. Types and contents of information cues that middle-aged people use when searching for health information were investigated. Also, how their health consciousness and health information orientation affected using information cues were analyzed. Three methods of research were used; (1) pre-interviews, (2) search experiments, and (3) post-interviews. Thirty-two middle-aged people participated in the study. Their performance on health information searching was recorded and referred to in the post-interviews using a think-aloud protocol. Findings presented that middle-aged people's health consciousness and health information orientation affected the perception of information scents in health information search; those with high health consciousness and health information orientation consider the text made by the government office the most critical information cues. We believe findings from this study could be used for public libraries or non-profit institutions to understand middle-aged people's health information behaviors to design education programs for information retrieval considering users' health consciousness and health information orientation. Findings could also contribute to Internet portal site or health-related web site designers developing strategies for middle-aged users to access health information effectively.
