Reconsideration on the Scientific Educational Validity of EBS Education Broadcasting (EBS 교육방송 강의의 과학교육적 타당성에 관한 재고)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the educational validity of EBS education broadcasting. The purpose of science education is not only to improve metacognition, but also to make student acquire scientific knowledge. So, this study present the question of whether EBS education broadcasting could raise students' metacognition or not. At ㅂ highschool, the VOD texts provided by EBS education broadcasting was used for all curriculums including science in 2002 and 2003. It was accepted that the model wpuld be using considered VOD texts as materials and focusing on students' voluntary acting. But the students couldn't be given a stimulus raising metacognition by these models. The metacognition such as metaknowledge, metaexperience, and monitoring must be mediated during school hours for valuable science lessons. First, the manipulation such as teacher's pertinent question or comment reminding students about the materials was connected with teaming subject. Second, it is important for students to do an analogical experiment in odor to experience the reality. Third, feedback and the scripts of students' conversation must be given to students to monitor their own learning process.

  • In this paper, we have designed and implemented that PC management system has the function of monitoring and controlling system management MIB defined for PC management using SNMP in PC room. System management MIB consists of monitoring MIB for system and processor information and controlling MIB for backup and restoration. For this, we have added new defined MIB variables to standard MIB and displayed system information, processor information, backup and restoration information of managed PC. And the structure between management system and managed system is shown and process of system information, processor information, backup and restoration of managed PC is illustrated. On real environmental, by monitoring window version, CPU type, system memory and virtual memory and performing backup and restoration of managed PC, actual operation is tested. Management system gathers system information and processor information from managed system and performs backup and restoration for recovering fault of managed system. Hence PC managers can operate and manage many PCs on LAN, efficiently.

  • 고도의 지식기반사회에서는 사고력과 문제해결력을 길러주는 프로그래밍 교육이 필요하며 이를 초등학교 교육과정부터 도입해야 한다는 여러 연구들이 있었다. 본 연구에서는 그러한 프로그래밍의 기초능력을 배양하기 위하여 프로그래밍 변수 개념 형성을 위한 효과적인 학습 모형을 구안하고자 하였다. 구체적 조작활동을 통해 인지를 형성하는 초등학교 아동들에게 LOGO 프로그래밍 활동이 적합하다는 선행연구를 토대로, 영어에 미숙한 아동들을 고려하여 MAL-LOGO 환경을 선택하였으며, 프로그래밍 학습요소 중 변수 개념 형성을 위한 학습요소를 추출하고, 교수-학습 프로그램을 계획하였다. 인지적 모니터링 전략(cognitive monitoring strategy)을 발달시킬 수 있는 안내된 발견식 교수법(guided instruction teaching method)을 기반으로 교수-학습 모형을 구안 적용한 후, 사전 사후 평가를 통해 그 효과를 검증하였다.

  • 컴퓨터 교육은 2000년부터 실시되고 있는 7차 교육과정에 따라 그 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 컴퓨터 교육은 컴퓨터를 가지고 수업을 실시하는 실기 위주의 수업이지만, 교사가 모든 아동의 수업상태를 체크하거나, 효과적으로 학생들의 학업 진행을 제어 한 수가 없다. 이에 컴퓨터 수업제어 시스템을 도입하여 수업시간의 집중성과 능률을 높이는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 수업 제어 시스템은 모니터링 기능으로 학생들의 화면을 실시간으로 교사화면에 전송되며, 주목 기능으로 주어진 수업 이외의 다른 내용을 할 경우 해당 학생의 컴퓨터를 사용하지 못하도록 하는 잠금 기능을 사용할 수 있다. 본 연구는 수업제어 시스템을 적용하기전과 적용후의 수업 종류별, 성별, 학년별로 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 연구하였다. 수업제어 시스템을 도입하면 도입하기 전보다 학습자는 수업에 더 집중할 수 있으며 수업의 내용을 더 흥미롭게 여기고, 교사는 학생들을 효율적으로 관리 할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문은 스마트 팜 교육용 시스템을 IoT 기반으로 임베디드 환경에서 설계 및 구현하였다. 시스템 환경은 라즈베리파이 기반에서 노드-레드(Node-RED) 프로그램을 적용하였고 생육재배에 필요한 환경 센서와 구동장치를 연동하여 구축하였다. 센싱 정보는 유. 무선통신으로 서버로 전달되며, 데이터베이스를 근간으로 한 웹 설계는 PHP, MySQL을 사용하고, 스마트 폰 앱은 안드로이드 스튜디오를 사용하였다. 시스템 동작 과정은 센서값 인지 및 비주얼한 표시, 연동 구동장치 제어 프로그래밍, 서버 및 스마트 폰을 이용한 원격제어와 모니터링 과정을 수행할 수 있도록 설계하였다.

Middle School Science Teachers' Perceptions of Implementation and Challenges on Process-Based Assessment Emphasized in the 2015 Revised Curriculum (2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 과학교사들의 과정중심평가 실행 및 어려움에 대한 인식 탐색)

  • As a part of the second-year monitoring study on the implementation of the 2015 revised science curriculum in middle schools, this study focuses more on examining middle school science teachers' perceptions on the process-based assessment (PBA). A total of 105 middle school science teachers (44 teachers from science leading schools, 61 teachers from ordinary schools) responded to the survey questionnaire, and 16 teachers participated in interviews. The results include teachers' perceptions on the changes in their teaching and assessment methods, some challenges of implementing PBA, and educational implications of PBA. Survey results indicate that the teachers perceived themselves using more PBA methods after the 2015 revised science curriculum was launched. The teachers in science-leading schools present statistically higher average scores to the items on the PBA utilization than the ones in ordinary schools. However, the teachers felt confused in conceptually differentiating PBA from prior performance-based assessment. They also experienced some conflicts when implementing PBA under the achievement-oriented school atmospheres. In addition, they often faced difficulties in securing objectivity and reliability of PBA and felt the burden of evaluating individual students. This study suggests the necessity of giving more authority and trust to science teachers regarding PBA, constructing more supportive environment to cultivate teacher competency as evaluation experts, and the need to reduce task burden. However, some teachers who actively implemented PBA express some level of satisfaction as observing students' positive reaction to PBA.

A Study of Analysis Current state of the Apprenticeship Curriculum in Vocational Education and Training High Schools Participating in the Apprenticeship System (산학일체형 도제학교의 도제 교육과정 편성 현황 분석 연구)

  • This study aimed to make proposals to develop an apprenticeship program and organize the apprenticeship curriculum by conducting an overall analysis of how vocational education and training high schools participating in the apprenticeship system(apprenticeship schools) organized the apprenticeship program in the school curriculum. To that end, the study analyzed the current state of the apprenticeship curriculum of 33 apprenticeship schools and came up with the following results: First, the apprenticeship class and the general class had a similar relevance between 'departments' and 'areas and goals of student training' and between 'departments' and 'qualifications,' while the apprenticeship class had a higher relevance between 'areas and goals of student training' and 'qualifications' than the general class. Second, both the required and optional competency units of the apprenticeship program were relatively evenly included in the Off-JT and OJT. Third, the competency units of the apprentice program were included in the technical subjects of the 2009 revised curriculum as well as the NCS practical subjects of the 2015 revised curriculum. Fourth, although most of the competency units of the apprenticeship program have a high correlation with the technical subjects of the school curriculum, there were also many schools showing a low correlation. Fifth, although the hierarchy of organizing the competency units of the apprenticeship program by semester was mostly high, there were a considerable number of schools with a low hierarchy. As a result, this study made the following policy proposals: granting a grace period for approval of the changes in the curriculum of the apprenticeship, distributing the matching table before and after the revision of the NCS competency units, organizing subjects not included in the national curriculum, creating subjects specialized for companies, and monitoring and consulting the curriculum of the apprenticeship schools.

  • The creative productivity is regarded as an essential factor to perform the gifted education. While it is very important to cultivate and to expand a creative productivity through mathematically problem solving in gifted education, we have difficulties in actual education of the (mathematically) gifted, even are there few researches/studies which deal with teaching and guiding the creative problem solving in mathematically gifted education, it is hard to find a guideline that provides proper ways (or directions) of learning-instruction and evaluation of the mathematically gifted. Therefore in this study, the researcher would provide a learning-instruction model to expand a creative productivity. The learning-instruction model which makes the creative productivity expanded in mathematically gifted education is developed and named MG-CPS(Mathematically Gifted-Creative Problem Solving). Since it reflected characteristics of academic- mathematical creativity and higher thinking level of the mathematically gifted, this model is distinguished from general CPS. So this model is proper to provide a learning experience and instruction to the mathematically gifted.

Development of PLC-based Fieldbus Educational Equipment and Curriculum for building Smart Factory (스마트팩토리 구축을 위한 PLC기반의 필드버스 교육 장비 및 교육과정 개발)

  • Recently, due to Industry 4.0, there is a great interest in smart factory for productivity improvement and customer satisfaction in manufacturing industry, and construction is also actively pursued by government support. In particular, data integration and fieldbus communication technology to build an efficient production system are essential. Fieldbus is an open control system that is not tied to a specific vendor system and has various advantages such as compatibility with other products, accuracy of data transmission, and remote diagnosis. However, there are no educational equipment for training field buses, training courses and examples for practical training, and there are many limitations in improving the practical skills needed for building smart factories in the industrial field. Therefore, this study develops PLC based fieldbus education equipment and training course based on previous research results that selected PLC and communication technology suitable for domestic industry field for practical fieldbus training and develops the training program of Ethernet IP, Profibus DP, Modbus, CC-Link, and DeviceNet. In addition, it is confirmed that the control and remote diagnosis of distributed field devices are possible by data collection and monitoring.
