A Study on the Development of Subjects-integrated Career Education to Improve Career Development Competency in a Career Education Intensive Semester & Grade System: Focusing on 2015 Revised Technology & Home Economics Curriculum (진로교육 집중학년·학기제에서 진로개발역량 강화를 위한 교과통합 진로교육 방안 연구 - 2015 개정 기술·가정교육과정을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to activate Home Economics integrated career education for strengthening career development competency in a career education intensive semester & grade system. To do this, the trend of subjects-integrated career education, and the relationship between achievement standards of Home Economics in high school and career development competency were analyzed, methods for Home Economics subjects-integrated career education were investigated, then a case study was developed. The main research results of this study are as follows. First despite the importance of subjects-integrated career education, there are much rooms to improve in operation of the career education intensive semester & grade system. Therefore, the systematic preparation for subjects-integrated career education is required at the time of application of the 2015 revised curriculum and the expansion of the career education intensive semester & grade system. Second, all achievement criteria in three domains of Home Economics were shown to be highly related to career development competency. Eventually it could be confirmed that the Home Economics is a core subject that meets the goals of career education and hones career development competency to be prepared as future human resources. Finally, in order to strengthen the career development competency, a case study of Home Economics integrated career curriculum focusing on the association with curriculum-teaching & learning-evaluation was developed and proposed. Even though the developed case study of curriculum has not been proven yet in the class, this study is expected to contribute to the enlargement of career education of Home Economics in the career education intensive semester & grade system as fundamental data for integration of Home Economics and career education.

An Analysis of the Stages of Teachers' Concerns Regarding Education on Mobile Application Development: An Application of CBAM (교사의 앱 개발 교육에 대한 관심도 분석: 관심중심수용모형(CBAM)을 중심으로)

  • As the necessity of maker education is being emphasized and the app generation is now entering school, expectations concerning the impact of app development education are rising in the field of education. The introduction and rise in popularity of a new type of education, such as app development education, requires a change in attitude among teachers. Therefore, this study focused on the concerns of in-service teachers regarding app development education by applying the Concerns-Based Adoption Model (CBAM) of Hall and Hord (2015). For this purpose, the data was collected from 23 in-service teachers who attended a short teacher training session that introduced app development training. The data was converted to the relative intensity based on the stage of concerns questionnaire (SoCQ) scoring device and was expressed as the SoCQ profile. The results of the survey concerning app development education showed that the stage 0 concern (unconcerned) was reported most frequently by teachers and the stage 4 concern (consequence) was reported least frequently. This kind of result, which is typical at the beginning of the introduction of a new education program, indicates that teachers recognize app development education but do not have sufficient information regarding it. Qualitative results also showed that teachers understand the educational possibilities of app development education, but they were worried about the difficulties expected to be applied in the field. Based on these results, we suggest that more detailed information on app development education be provided through teacher training.

Development of Educational Program for Cultivating of Intergrative Thinking Person : Centering on Robot, New Materials, Space Exploration (고등학생을 위한 융합인재교육 프로그램 개발: 로봇, 신소재, 우주 탐사를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a Educational programs for cultivating of intergrative thinking person. For the study, various literature researches were reviewed intensively about STEAM, STEM, robot, new materials, space exploration. As the process of the Study, the strategy for educational program development, workbook for students and instructional Guide for teacher were developed. The workbooks and instructional guides were tested by pilot test. And the interviews with students and teachers were feedback. The result of the feedback, the programs for the 10 educational Programs for cultivating of intergrative thinking person were developed. Based upon the conclusion of this study, the theoretical rationale of educational program for cultivating of intergrative thinking person was presented. Finally, the application method of this study and subsequent studies for effectiveness vertification were proposed.

  • This study is aimed at developing the STEAM instruction materials for mathematics subject-based advanced technology and ICT teaching tools. In order to develop the STEAM materials, a PDI model in which the implementation and evaluation steps were simplified to Improvement was used. The developed STEAM materials were revised and supplemented by a group of experts. The subject of the STEAM class material developed in this study is 『Graph! The bridge that connects the past, present and future』 , 『You are the same but different!』 , 『Creating a virtual reality three-dimensional space together』 , 『And making interesting figures』 and 『Cover the roof of the turtle ship!』 . As a suggestion based on the results of this development study, various STEAM education materials should be developed and shared so that STEAM education can be performed in the elementary education field. And for the spread and settlement of STEAM education, the cultivation and expansion of STEAM education capabilities of on-site elementary school teachers or pre-service teachers will be an absolute prerequisite. And this suggests the need for a continuous and long-term approach to follow-up research on STEAM education.

  • The purpose of this study was the development of green technology education program for elementary school creative activities. The result of this study were follow. Basically this program was developed through three steps of preparation, development and improvement. First, in the preparation step, Need analysis were analyzed by investigation the needs of the society. Then the themes of this program were determined by thestages based on the National and social issues.   • This study examined performance-related competencies for vocational training teachers and development process of Competency-Based Curriculum(CBC). Based on literature review of competencies, education and training of vocational training teachers, we developed competency modeling integrating job analysis, Behavioral Event Interview for vocational training teachers and Competency Dictionary and analyzed validity of competency modeling and competency need and proposed education and training program across competencies and training module. Finally we proposed necessary operating and management methods to effectively develop competencies for vocational training teachers using CBC.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 예비 교사의 소프트웨어 교육 수업 전문성 함양을 위하여 백워드 설계 기반으로 교육프로그램을 개발하는 데 있다. 백워드 설계는 학생들의 심층적인 이해를 고려한 수업 설계 기법이다. 백워드 설계 대한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 차시 당 4시간 수업으로 총 8차시(32시간 분량)의 소프트웨어 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이는 예비교사의 소프트웨어 교육에 대한 심층적인 이해를 돕고, 직접 백워드 설계를 기반으로 하는 수업 계획을 실습함으로써 교육과정에 대한 깊은 이해도 도울 수 있다는 점에 의의를 갖는다. 하지만 본 연구에서 개발된 교육 프로그램이 어떤 효과성을 지니는지에 대한 검증이 이루어지지 않았다는 제한점이 있다. 따라서 추후 연구에서는 효과성을 확인하기 위한 실험 및 통계적 검증이 요구된다.

Critical Review on Discourses of Learning in Global Education Agendas (글로벌 교육의제에 반영된 학습 담론에 대한 비판적 고찰 : 교육의제에'학습'은 어디에 있는가?)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze how the debates on learning and learning outcomes in global education agendas have changed and to understand the discourses and issues about learning under the agendas, and finally based on the understanding, to know what is the implication we should take in international education development cooperation in Korea. To do this, this study critically analyzed 1) what is the main features and directions, and 2) the method and limitation in handling learning concept on three major global education forums which are Jomtien global education forum in 1990, Dakar in 2000, and Incheon in 2015. Major finding shows that there are little learning concept discussed in Jomtien and Dakar forums and in SDGs education agenda, learning is vaguely defined and discussed and there are problems of too much focus on learning outcomes itself and absence of study on proper assessment system. Major lessons and implications for international education development cooperation could be stated that postcolonial perspectives and learner centered approaches is required in developing countries's education ecology. And continuous support for sustainable development for learners' capacity should be underlined. We needs to focus on developing software not hardware from the first of educational ODA. Finally, it is needed to embed within pedagogical approaches.

  • 현재 웹 상에서 진행되는 교육용 컨텐츠들은 날로 인기가 놀아지고 그에 부응하여 많은 교육용 웹 애플리케이션들이 만들어지고 있다. 그러나 증가되고 있는 컨텐츠 개발을 위한 기술과 도구들은 빠른 발전을 이루고 있는 반면 개발 프로세스에 대해서는 관심을 두지 않았다. 분석과 설계가 결핍된 상태에서 개발된 웹 애플리케이션은 품질 저하와 생산성 저하 등의 부정적인 파급효과를 가지게 된다. 따라서 교육용 웹 애플리케이션은 개발 초기에 적절한 모델링이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 소프트웨어 공학 기술을 컨텐츠 개발에 적용하는 접근 방법을 사용하여 웹 애플리케이션 설계를 돕는 메커니즘을 제공하고 웹 기반의 맞춤형 교육을 위한 컨텐츠 모델링 방법에 관하여 논의한다. 웹 애플리케이션의 구성요소의 기호와 의미를 정립하고 교육용 컨텐츠의 구조를 정의, 분석한 후 웹 기반 시스템 모델링을 위한 구조로 재정의 한다. 적절한 모델링 과정을 거쳐 교육용 웹 애플리케이션을 개발함으로써 교육용 웹 컨텐츠의 체계적인 개발 및 관리 지원이 가능하게 된다.

  • 현재 발전소의 시뮬레이터 교육은 교재 위주로 시행되고 있어서 발전소의 입체영상이나 가상사고 진행에 따른 동적 상태변화 등을 실감있게 교육할 수 있는 교육설비가 없다. 이러한 문제점을 보완하기 위해 가상현실 및 멀티미디어 기법을 적용하여, 발전소 전반 및 주 제어실 등을 3차원 모델로 개발하고 이를 입체영상으로 시각화하여 발전소의 복잡한 구조와 기능들을 설명하고, 운전 중 발생 가능한 다양한 사고에 대한 시나리오 선정 및 저작으로 운전원 교육시 시뮬레이터실이 아닌 강의실에서 사고현상 시뮬레이션을 가능하게 하는 시스템을 개발하기 위한 설계를 완료하였다. 본 논문에서는 3차원 CAD 데이터 구축, 가상현실 시스템 개발, 웹 환경의 교육시스템 개발, MMI 화면개발을 통한 시뮬레이터 연동 시스템 개발 등을 구현하기 위해 현재까지 설계된 컴퓨터 지원 교육훈련시스템에 대한 전반적인 내용을 제시 하고자 한다.
