교사들의 과학 교수 효능의 신념을 조사하고 이해하는 것은 과학 교수를 향상시키는데 가장 유력한 요소가 될 수 있음에도 불구하고, 이를 연구한 사례는 거의 없었다 본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 예비 교사들의 교사 양성 과정중 과학 교육 과목이 예비 교사들의 과학 교수 효능의 신념 즉, 자신의 과학 교수 효능감과 과학 교수 결과에 대한 기대감에 미치는 영향을 조사하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 서울교육대학교와 인천교육대학교에 재학중인 예비교사들이 한 학기동안의 과학 교육 과목을 마치고 나서 그들의 과학 교수 효능의 신념이 어느 정도 변화했는지를 측정하였으며, 이에 대한 결과를 t-test로 분석하였다. 연구의 결과로 미루어보아 예비 교사들이 학습한 과학 교육 과목은 그들의 과학 교수 효능감과 과학 교수 결과에 대한기대감을 모두 향상시켰다. 그러나 앞으로는 과학 교육 과목의 어떤 요소들이 그들의 신념을 변화시키는지 구체적으로 알기 위해 질적 연구와 함께 더욱 긴 기간 동안의 연구가 행해져야하며, 변화된 그들의 신념이 실제 초등학교 교사가 될 때까지 지속되는지를 조사하고, 지속될 수 있는 방법들이 연구되어야 할 것이다.

Edutainment refers to the form of entertainment designed to educate as well as to amuse. It typically seeks to instruct its audience by embedding messages or educational contents in some familiar form of entertainment such as computer games, films, websites, multimedia software, etc. The purpose of this study is to identify the determinants of attitude toward online game-based edutainment. This study proposes the attitude, fun, usefulness, social interaction, challenge, and educational story as major research variables, and collected the survey responses from game players having experiences with online game-based edutainment. Factor analysis confirmed that 19 questions can be categorized into 6 factors : attitude, fun, usefulness, social interaction, challenge, and educational story. Regression analysis shows that fun, usefulness and educational story significantly and directly affect the attitude toward these edutainment games, and that educational story influences the level of usefulness. In addition, challenge and social interaction were found to have significant impact on fun. In conclusion, the wider implications of the findings for utilizing online game-based edutainment are provided.

Gifted education, receiving private tutoring and prerequisite learning, is emerging as a remarkable phenomenon currently in Korea. Hence, we need to find out that whether prerequisite math learning influences academic achievement in any aspect after they enter the center. In this paper, we investigate the effect of mathematics prerequisite learning of gifted students focused on the their self-efficacy, achievement motivation and academic achievement. As a result, the period of mathematics prerequisite learning did not influence academic achievement of gifted students. However, the correlation between self-efficacy and achievement motivation was positive.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how task value, twitter self-efficacy, and social presence affect learning satisfaction on twitter discussion. In addition, this study examined the mediating effects of social presence. Participants were 46 undergraduate students in A university in Seoul, Korea. They responded the following surveys: task value, twitter self-efficacy, social presence, and learning satisfaction. Baron & Kenny (1986)'s mediation analysis approach with correlation and multiple regression analyses were applied to this study. Findings showed the significant effects of task value, twitter self-efficacy, and social presence on satisfaction on twitter discussion. In addition, social presence mediated task value, twitter self-efficacy, and satisfaction. These results suggest that the twitter discussion should be designed to accommodate different learners characteristics such as task value and twitter self-efficacy and promote greater social presence between learners.

This study was aimed to compare nutrition knowledge, dietary attitude and habit of elementary school children with and without education. Eighty-four subjects with unbalanced eating behavior were selected and assigned to either control or education group. The subjects in education group participated in a nutrition education program once a week for 8 weeks. The contents of nutrition education were on food tower, balanced nutrition, nutrient function, food group, importance of breakfast, and nutrition label, etc and the program was performed by a school dietitian. The effects of education was assessed by self-administered questionnaire prior to and after nutritional education. Nutrition knowledge except on snack, dietary self-efficacy except on low fat/ low calorie, attitude except on functional food and favorite, and general dietary habits of children in education group were significantly improved while those in control group showed no changes. Also, factors for unbalanced eating was improved by nutrition education indicating the need for correction on unbalanced eating was diminished. However, children's adherence to snack, instant and fast food remained to be corrected. The dietary habit of balanced eating was improved by education reducing the percentage of unbalanced eating on grain and meat.fish.milk groups. The nutrition education appears to be effective to provide nutrition knowledge thereby to improve dietary attitude, dietary self-efficacy, and partly to reduce children's unbalanced eating factor.

The previous studies of online entrepreneurship education were conducted only on the effect of education on actual entrepreneurship, but did not analyze the effectiveness of education. In this study, beyond of limits of previous studies, we investigated the effect of social presence on learning expectancy and educational satisfaction. In addition, we examined the influence of learning expectation on the relationship between social presence and educational satisfaction. For the research hypothesis test, we conducted a questionnaires survey on 189 graduate students who taken online courses related to entrepreneurship, hypothesis and questionnaires were made based on the research hypotheses precedent theories. And educational satisfaction was divided into operational satisfaction and content satisfaction. As a results of the analysis using the structural equation model, social presence has a positive effects on learning expectancy. Next, the learning expectancy has a positive effects on the operational satisfaction and the content satisfaction. Finally, when social presence affects operational satisfaction, learning expectation has a complete mediation effects and content satisfaction has a partial mediation effects. The implications of the results of this study were as follows. There was a need for a way to interacted with learners when conducted online entrepreneurial education. When increased the satisfaction level of the learning operation, it is necessary to reduced the burden of learners and raised the expectancy.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of education service quality (quality of professor service, quality of curriculum service) on career decision-making, self-efficacy, career decision level, and career preparation behavior. Appropriate measures were developed and tested on 426 respondents of Gyeongnam province in South Korea with a cross-sectional questionnaire survey. To ensure the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, and validity analysis were conducted. To ensure the reliability and validity of the measurement model, the CFA(confirmatory factor anlaysis) were conducted. The SEM(structural equation modeling) analysis was undertaken to perform the path analysis among the variables and to assess the suitability of the model. MCFA(multi group CFA) and MSEM(multi group SEM) were performed to confirm the moderation effect. Results of the study are summarized as follows: Firstly, education service quality has positive effects on career decision-making self-efficacy. Second, career decision-making self-efficacy has positive effects on career decision level and career reparation behavior. Third, career decision level has positive effects on career reparation behavior. Finally, it was found there exists a moderating effect of freshman/registered student between education service quality, career decision-making self-efficacy, career decision level, career preparation behavior. As a result of this study, it is suggested that investigation of extraneous variables which help to improve career preparation behavior and career decision level as for career of university student will contribute to university education.

This study aims to planned Elementary Multicultural Education Program for Promoting Self Esteem. To this end, consider the application force of education and teaching system designed to reorganize the ADDIE Model study was carried out in accordance with the analysis, design, development, process evaluation. To this end, analyzing the between self-esteem and group theory related to them and the social identity theory and key concepts to consider in the context of multicultural education programs for elementary self-esteem enhancement identity, prejudice, cooperation and was composed of equality. Four key concepts are sub-elements of self-esteem individuals, homes, schools, set up a detailed learning objectives in accordance with the social and selecting the learning content and organization, which was composed of a total of 16 class periods. Considering the characteristics and interests of the target students, the teaching-learning method was designed to utilize various methods, including games, quizzes, and discussions, and each class was designed to be developed by organizing them into subjects-learning goals-activities(recognition-exploration-clearing). Since in the three-member expert review, modify the content on the basis of opinions and presented the final program. The program planned by this study, further research is required to verify the effectiveness and utilization in the educational field and expects effective multicultural education.

This study was to develop a introduction program contents for first year nursing students and to verify the effectiveness of the program contents. The effects of introduction program contents for first year nursing students is to identify a career attitude maturity and self-efficacy. The study used a One Group Pre-post Test Design and the surveys were carried out form 5, March to 26, March, 2012. The participants were 129 students of nursing in K university. The data were obtained via questionnaires survey before and after taking the course. The collected data were analyzed by paired t-test using SPSS 15. As a result in analyzing the effect of introduction program contents on career attitude maturity and self-efficacy for first year nursing students, introduction program contents was appeared to influence the self-efficacy. The scores of self-efficacy(t=2.36, p=.002) showed statistically significant improvement after the education. Also there was significant increase in career attitude maturity(t=2.92, p=.004) after the education. The results of this study were the positive effects of introduction program contents on first nursing students' career attitude maturity and self-efficacy. These findings suggest that introduction program contents as a subject would be an efficient way for self-efficacy and career attitude maturity of first year nursing students. and I recommend that various professor teaching method and nursing education contents development with utilizing ICT.
