The purpose of this study is to analyze the invention-related content of foreign science curricula and investigate the perception of science educators about the degree of relevance between science curriculum and invention. For the analysis of foreign science curricula, we investigated the programs of 10 nations, including the US, Canada, UK, Japan, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, France, Finland and China. To analyze the relevance between Korean science curriculum and invention, we examined common topics such as science, integrated science, and science inquiry experiment, and investigated that the elements related to invention education were included in each 'achievement standard' and 'teaching and evaluation methods'. Science educators including science teachers were asked to evaluate the degree of relevance of invention education. The results were as follows. First, science curricula in many countries contained invention-related content. Second, science educators recognized that invention education was related to science curriculum, but the systematic connection was insufficient. Third, because it is mainly limited to the results of designing and device design, they recognized that the relevance of invention education, which focuses on various processes such as problem design, inventive techniques and intellectual property, was not revealed. Therefore, it is necessary to be process-oriented when developing invention education teaching-learning methods and related materials in science education for the future.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the duties and competencies of the teacher librarian required by schools as consumers to operate the curriculum, and to suggest ways to improve their professionality. To this end, the duties and competencies included in 20 job advertisements posted by IB schools to select teacher librarians were analyzed based on the IFLA School Library Guidelines. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the duties and competencies of IB schools are based on the IB curriculum guidelines and this guideline is based on the educational philosophy and learner image that IBO curriculum aims. And the job that schools want the most from the teacher librarian is teaching through library collection management and collaboration, and the main competencies for this are communication and collaboration skills, teaching-learning·curriculum·education design and operation, and digital & media literacy. The results of this analysis show that the professionalism should be based on the vision for the educated person and learner capabilities presented in the curriculum. Based on this results, in this study the ways for developing teacher librarians' professionalism were presented in the following aspects. First, including the educational responsibilities of the school library in the Arrangement and Implementation Guideline of National Level Curriculum. Second, Classifying human resources' duties through revision of the Enforcement Decree of the School Library Promotion Act. Third, reorganizing of basic courses to acquire teacher librarian qualifications and introducing a demonstration of collaborative teaching in the eduactional practice and the certification examination.

An image is a comprehensive result that you have experienced about an object and means the image that you have on the surface of your consciousness. The image of the subject has an important influence on learning the subject. The image analysis of the subjects that the learners have will be good data to decide the direction of teaching and learning. The purpose of this study is to develop and apply measurement tools for physics image and discuss its educational implications. The research method is to develop the measurement tools for the physics image by semantic analysis method and apply it to the secondary pre-service physics teacher. The subjects of the study were 39 first graders, 31 second graders, 37 third graders, and 38 fourth graders at the University of Education, a total of 145 students, 82 of whom were male and 63 were female. The study results show that the image measurement tools for physics consisted of 25 items from five elements: 'interest,' 'feeling,' 'scope,' 'evaluation,' and 'viewpoint.' There were statistically significant differences between the male and female students in applying the measurement tools developed for the physics image of secondary pre-service physics teachers. Male students showed significantly higher statistical significance than female students in the 'interest' and 'feeling' elements of measurement tools for the physics image. In the 'scope' element of measurement tools for the physics image the second grade was statistically higher than the fourth grade. Finally, we discussed educational implications for image analysis of physics and the usefulness of using measurement tools in physics image.
The purpose of this research was to confirm one of constructivists' assumptions that even children 조o are with low reasoning ability can make reflective abstracting ability and cognitive structures by this ability can make generation ability of new knowledge by themselves. To investigate the assumption, learner-centered instruction were implemented to 2nd grade classroom located in Suseong Gu, DaeGu City and with lesson plans which initially were developed by Burns and corrected by the researchers. Recordings videoed using 2 video cameras, observations, instructions, children's activity worksheets, instruction journals were analyzed using multiple tests for qualitative analysis. Some conclusions are drawn from the results. First, even children with low reasoning ability can construct mathematical knowledge on multiplication in their own. ways, Thus, teachers should not compel them to learn a learning lesson's goals which is demanded in traditional instruction, with having belief they have reasoning ability. Second, teachers need to have the perspectives of respects out of each child in their classroom and provide some materials which can provoke children's cognitive conflict and promote thinking with the recognition of effectiveness of learner-centered instruction. Third, students try to develop their ability of reflective and therefore establish cognitive structures such as webs, not isolated and fragmental ones.
The purpose of this study was to confirm the degree of other behaviors among university students in the department of radiology(science) who experienced online classes in the COVID-19 situation and to investigate the effect of self-directed learning ability, flow and academic achievement on other behaviors. The research method was descriptive research. Data were 200 students collected from June 1 to 30 in 2022 using structured questionnaires as students in the Department of Radiology(science). Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Cronbach's pearson's correlation, multiple regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 21.0. The result of the study showed that the other behaviors were in the order of 'having s different thought, and 'sending text messages'. other behaviors was 1.75, self-directed learning ability was 3.60, flow was 3.23 and academic achievement was 4.29. There was a significant negative correlation between other behaviors and self-directed learning ability, flow, academic achievement. Factors influencing other behaviors were academic achievement, age, flow, self-directed learning ability in that order. As a result of the above research. it is expected that specific measures and various teaching methods to be flowed in the class are need as the way to lower the other behaviors of university students in the Department of Radiology(science) is to increase academic achievement.

The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of non-face-to-face classes conducted due to the COVID-19 crisis. In order to achieve this goal, a non-face-to-face class with flipped learning was applied in one subject of clothing major held at 'S' University in Cheongju, Korea. In addition, this study tried to analyze the differences between pre- and post-non-face-to-face classes in problem analysis ability, resource/information/technology literacy, convergent thinking ability as core competencies, and overall learning satisfaction. As a result, after participating in the non-face-to-face class in which the flipped learning was applied, the students recognized that their abilities improved in the three problem-solving competency sub-areas, and their overall learning satisfaction also increased. The effectiveness of non-face-to-face classes in the field of clothing and fashion has been mainly measured in fashion design and clothing construction courses. However, based on the results of this study, it can be suggested that non-face-to-face classes in a theory-oriented lecture-type class can be effective methods for improving students' core competencies such as problem-solving skills if teaching-learning methods such as flipped learning are applied. Therefore, the results of this study will be useful data for designing differentiated non-face-to-face class strategies in a theory-oriented lecture-type class to improve the core competencies of college students.
In this study, we tried to secure basic data to create an environment necessary for distance learning through a survey on professor demand. Among the 184 full-time faculty members of the university, 73 (39.89%) respondents in 2021 and 87 (47.28%) in 2022 were included. As a result of the research on professor demand, in the 2021 school year, 27 people (37%) were classified as LMS improvement items when checking attendance, 38 people (23.3%) were pin-mics as content development support items, and 26 people (35.6%), 33 people (45.2%) of GOM Mix and 25 people (34.2%) of the distance education support center wanted to learn video editing program as the item of video editing program they are currently using. In the 2022 school year, 27 people (31.03%) said mobile upgrade as an LMS improvement item, 52 people (59.8%) of pin-microphone as a content development support item, 33 people (37.9%), but currently using the content creation intention using a studio. As for the video editing program they are working on, 47 people (54%) of GOM Mix Pro and 23 people (26.4%) of the distance education support center want to learn content creation method. In addition, the intention to produce content using the studio for the 2021 and 2022 academic year and the desired educational topic of the distance education support center in the future appeared insignificant (p > 0.05). In this distance education support center, we are working to solve the class of LMS attendance, upgrade mobile, and plan to distribute pin microphones. We are planning to increase the usability of the studio and provide training on how to use video editing programs and how to create video content. In order for a smooth class to take place in a university distance class, the university authorities should seek ways to support the instructor so that he/she does not have difficulties in performing his/her role as a teaching designer, such as setting learning goals, organizing and organizing content, motivating learning, and establishing effective class participation plans. there is a need

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of distance education experience using users' avatars in virtual reality space on their teaching efficacy belief. There were 9 participants who were enrolled in a course in doctoral program of education department in J University for the study. The first class of six sessions was face to face class on how to use Second Life and the 14 classes of 3 sessions were done in a classroom of Second Life. According to the analysis of reflection notes, interviews, researcher's observations of 5 participants, their experiences of presentation and taking classes in distance education using their own avatars in Second Life had positive influence on participants' teaching efficacy belief in their future working for distance education using avatars of Second Life. The implication of this study is to show some conditions for successful distance education as well as to see the potential of distance education in 3D virtual reality space using avatars. This study will contribute to promote the future study in distance education field.
The purpose of this study was (1) to examine the present state of English education for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics preparations, and (2) to identify the need for an English language training program for international sports events. With these goals in mind, the information was gathered from telephone interviews with educational administration officials who were responsible for international sporting events. For the survey, a total of twenty-six participants responded to a questionnaire designed to gauge their self-perceived English instructional needs for international sporting events. The principal results obtained from this study were: the Pyeongchang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games signed an agreement with an official supplier of language training services. In addition, Gangneung city is providing a 'Global Leaders' Academy' and English programs for taxi drivers and citizens. The result of the survey shows that the majority of participants reported that an English language training program is essential for international sporting events and it should be different from general English language education.
Infinitesimal did not play an explicit role concerning definite integral in the textbook nowadays. But studies which investigate understanding of students on definite integral show that many students comprehend definite integral with infinitesimal. Formally infinitesimal is not taught at mathematics classroom, but many students identify definite integral as infinite sum of infinitesimals. This means that definite integral itself contains some structural elements that allow infinitesimal interpretation. In this study we investigate the role of infinitesimal In the historical development of partition-sum in definite integral, extract didactical issues concerning understanding of definite integral, and analyse Korean mathematics textbooks. Finally we propose some suggestions on the teaching of definite integral which contains the process of refinement intuition.
