In this research, it was developed an instructional analysis program by computer to support the improvement of teachers' inst겨ctional profession and was tested the efficiently of the program. This program include 6 modules such as Flanders' analysis, Tuckman's analysis, Movement pattern analysis, Concentration of instruction analysis, Analysis method for each factor and Users' training contents. It was made for all modules to guarantee the convenience of use, efficiency of analysis, customized support for each person, strengthening the training feature, standardization and continual updating. The results of instruction analysis are continuously stored as DB, which teachers can frequently confirm the improvement of class skill in daily or monthly base. It also is verγ small for the size of the program to sure that it works at a normal notebook computer or a lower performing desktop computer. The developed program was applied to actual classes for 2 months, and it was compared the difference of instruction efficiency before and after use the program to test the efficiency of the developed computer program. The result shows that this instructional analysis program could meaningfully improve the instruction efficiency. Therefore, if the program is used in school's Instructional supervision, it can be improved the instructional efficiency, which means that a teacher can teach students more confidently and systematically.

Scientific observation has been recognized as one of the fundamental aspects in scientific inquiry. However, more detailed discussions and practical guides for teachers' and students' understanding about the nature of scientific observation have not been conducted. Therefore, based on literature reviews, we described the nature of theory-laden scientific observation as 11 detailed statements. Using theses statements, we investigated science teachers' and students' recognition of each statement. According to results, certain aspects of theory-laden scientific observation were determined as important aspects to be considered for science teachers' in-service programs or for students' learning activities in understanding the nature of science.

This case study focused on three science teachers who participated in the Research Experience for Teachers (RET) program conducted by the Center for Bridging Advanced Science and Education (CBASE). The RET program provides opportunities for participants to experience experimentations in a science laboratory for six months, enabling teachers develop teaching materials based on their experience from the RET program. The purpose of this study was to explore how the teachers had developed their professionalism through participation in the program and which factors promoted the professional development of science teachers. In this research, we defined pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) as the required knowledge for teachers to develop for their professional development. As a result of the RET program, all three participants showed integration of PCK elements: orientation to teaching science, knowledge of science, knowledge of students, knowledge of teaching, and knowledge of sources. The PCK elements which had been developed by the RET program were applied in school context and the teachers' belief became clear and strong. The teachers were able to understand the process of authentic science as they learned it from 'legitimate peripheral participation' in the authentic research context. They also showed dynamic integration between newly established elements of PCK by reflecting on the school context while developing the teaching materials. The professional development of each teacher was different depending on the purpose and PCK, which participants had already possess. This study will provide meaningful implication for the development of professional development program for science teachers based on research experience.

This exploratory study investigated the real time adaptability of industry training for college professors. For this study, the researcher whose college's professor in the department of early childhood education used collaborative action research. This research was conducted in a class of five year old children of a daycare center in D city. The researcher and the homeroom teacher interacted with each other through 4 steps during the researcher's training period. The first step was group formation between the researcher and the teacher. The second step was problem identification. The third step was a review of the literature. The forth step was problem-solving. The researcher and teacher finally developed a rhythm movement program that was based on fundamental motor performance of young children. Through this collaborative effort, the researcher and teacher had the opportunity to improve their professionalism. Especially, the researcher improved her understanding and knowledge of teaching young kids. The result of this study is meaningful in that it provided basic data to improve training of college professors.

For developing mathematics teachers' professionalism, it is necessary to construct PDS to provide training programs which are appropriate for Korean context and needed by mathematics teachers. This study is a preliminary study for constructing PDS and aims to design PDS model for Korean mathematics teachers. Firstly, components of model were elicited by theoretical review. Secondary, focus group discussion with 8 teachers and individual interview with 1 educational profession and 3 foreign mathematics education researchers were conducted. Finally, by reflecting FGD and interview results, the final version of PDS model was designed. The final model is constructed by 3 components, which are life cycle, program types, and participants. In addition, professional development topics for each life cycle according to PDS model are presented.

There is growing recognition that secondary students must be given the opportunity to write in their science classrooms as well as in scientific inquiry based learning situations, yet the development of writing education standards for secondary school science teachers still needs to be addressed. The primary objective of this research was to explore the writing education standard for secondary school science teachers. The research objective was attained through the use of literature analyses. Drawing upon those results of the related literature analyses, this study suggests a list of writing education standards for secondary school science teachers. The list consists of 17 education standards and includes 42 sub-standards in total across four education areas.

The purpose of this study is to examine the perception of early childhood teachers on ecological art activities oriented to education for sustainable development. The research results are as follows. First, Early childhood teachers recognized the visual art of natural media, the pursuit of community values, and the participation and communication of social members as educational significance of ecological art activities. And difficulties in practicing ecological art were recognized as lack of educational environment, lack of ecological art teaching materials and specific examples, and teachers' lack of understanding of ecological art. Also, they recognized that ecological art activities foster core competencies in art experience area, such as nature-friendly communication skills, eco-friendly sensibility, and creative convergence skills. Second, regarding ecological art activities and sustainable development education, early childhood teachers considered the difficulties in practice as lack of awareness about sustainable development, lack of play meia and materials, lack of educational policies and support, and insufficient teacher training programs. Also, regarding the SDGs that can be practiced in ecological art activities, teachers were found to be highly aware of 'grow affordable and clean energy', 'improve clean water and sanitation', 'provide quality education' in the order. In the contents of education for sustainable development that can be practiced in ecological art activities, teachers are given the order of 'climate change response', 'clean energy', 'water and sanitation', 'quality education', 'health and well-being' and 'marine ecosystem'. was highly recognized. If an ecological art activity program is developed, the rate of responding that it will be used is high, so it is considered that the development of an ESD-oriented ecological art activity program is urgent.

현대 사회는 미래의 지식과 정보의 시대에 대비한 인재를 양성하기 위해서 컴퓨터교육에 대한 필요성이 날로 커져가고 있다. 이에 제7차 교육과정에서도 컴퓨터 교육의 활성화를 위하여 연간 34시간 이상 컴퓨터를 교육하도록 명시하고 있지만 가장 기초적이라 할 수 있는 초등학교에서의 컴퓨터 교육이 교사들에 의해 제대로 시행되고 있지 않고 있으며, 그에 대한 교사들의 인식과 실태를 파악하여 개선방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 얻은 결과를 바탕으로 초등학교 컴퓨터과학 교육 활성화를 위한 개선방안을 다음과 같이 제안하고자 한다. 첫째, 정보통신윤리 개정 지침안에 대한 교사 교육이 의무화되어야 하며, 컴퓨터과학 교수학습 방법 및 교육과정 운영에 필요한 프로그램의 기능 연수가 개설되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 정보통신기술 교재 교사용 지도서가 전문화, 체계화 되어야 한다. 셋째, 컴퓨터과학 교육을 수업 현장에서 쉽게 실현할 수 있는 다양한 자료를 개발하여 보급해야 한다. 넷째, 초등학교 컴퓨터 교육 과정의 재정비가 필요하다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze demands of education training about copyright for Infant and early childhood education institutions. This study investigated demands of education training about copyright for infant and early childhood education institutions targeting 248 directors and teachers. Using a questionnaire, research data was analyzed using the program spss. Demands of education training about copyright for infant and early childhood education institutions appeared differently depending on education institution type, position, education career, etc. copyright training topics include the highest demands for understanding of the copyright associated with the work of the early childhood education. Training contents had higher demands for using typeface(font) and video material. So these results reported that directors and teachers require copyright education relating to the work of Early childhood education. The results of this study suggest the implications for developing and implementing copyright training programs for Infant and Early childhood education institutions.

The purpose of this study is to research factors determining satisfaction on the short-term training courses offered to vocational school teachers, and to analyze the case of the overseas training for developing countries. An empirical study is performed by surveying 226 trainees having participated in international HRD program of the HRD Korea during 2008~2011. The results show that the training demand survey, training period and fitting to the trainees' major and the educational level positively affect the satisfaction on the short-term training for teachers of vocational schools. The implication of this study is that programs customized to personal attributes and educational level are needed in the ODA overseas training and the short-term training for teachers of vocational schools.
