The biggest strength of the Internet is to enable to access information without any limitation of time and space. As the Internet and IT technologies have been developed, various kinds of teaching ways in education field such as remote lectures, video lectures, and CAI(Computer Adapted Instruction) have emerged. In terms of education, evaluation can be a basic foundation to help teach students in the next learning stage according to each student's level. In addition, it is able to give the information of students'abilities and provides proper learning programs to teach students on a case-by-case basis. The purpose of the paper is to establish evaluation system on the WWW(World Wide Web) that can reflect learning activities part of students in their evaluation scores based on the two important learning theories, Behaviorism and constructivism, which are mainly used in evaluation procedures to judge learning ability of students. This system will give information about learners, and analyze the learning interest of learners. The proposed system enables teachers to evaluate learning ability of students through various kinds of information of learners, and to execute level-based education.

The objective of this study was to examine factors that affect service linkage and Satisfaction of Comprehensive child care services through Community resources linkage. The subjects were 370 child care center workers providing child care services in Busan. The results showed that: First, in personal factors, maintenance of service interchange for maintenance of relationship with other facilities had significant effect on the satisfaction level, Second, in the case of organizational factors, closeness with linkage facility, sufficient business capital, positiveness for linkage, and preparedness of internal provisions for linkage had significant effect on the satisfaction level. Third, in the case of environmental factors, proximity with linkage agencies, level of environment fostering, and level of cooperation with linkage agencies had significant influence.

The purpose of this study was to design and implement the smart system for supporting instructional materials employing characteristics of smart education and flipped learning and to examine the effects of the system on students' achievement and satisfaction in elementary education. The system was developed on the basis of the curriculum with the design strategies of the smart system. The results of the analyses showed that the achievement of the students was increased over the series of the tests. It was also found that the system positively influenced students' self-directed learning time and their satisfaction in social studies education. The implications of the results of the study and suggestions for the future study were discussed.

This paper presents a reinforcement learning framework for stock trading systems. Trading system parameters are optimized by Q-learning algorithm and neural networks are adopted for value approximation. In this framework, cooperative multiple agents are used to efficiently integrate global trend prediction and local trading strategy for obtaining better trading performance. Agents Communicate With Others Sharing training episodes and learned policies, while keeping the overall scheme of conventional Q-learning. Experimental results on KOSPI 200 show that a trading system based on the proposed framework outperforms the market average and makes appreciable profits. Furthermore, in view of risk management, the system is superior to a system trained by supervised learning.

Women engineering education programs in the United States, Europe and Australia were analyzed. From 1970s, these countries focused on the low representation of women in engineering, and carried out extensive research and programs. Numerous studies identified the causes of low representation as low interests in mathematics and science during K-12 years, classroom environments which treat women differently (often referred as chilly climate), and the masculine culture in engineering. Comprehensive approaches were taken in the development of the programs: the programs utilized the schools and universities as well as various local institutes, and the programs were designed not only for female students from elementary to graduate levels, but also for parents, teachers, professors, and school administrators. In order to adopt these programs in Korea, the problems that Korean female engineering students are facing in the education environment must be investigated first. Then, unified efforts to change the educational system, environments and culture are needed by all in engineering fields, along with nation-wide policies and funding.

The objective of this study is to analyze the cases related to the lingual and non-lingual metaphors used in the math class at elementary school and consider the values of metaphors as a teaching method for the subject of mathematics. Throughout this study, teachers' gestures are analyzed as lingual and non-lingual metaphors shown between teachers and students in the class for the topic of the inverse proportion in quartic equations for direct and inverse proportions in Chapter 7 for the first semester of the 6th grade at elementary school in terms of the amended curriculum for the year of 2007. According to the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there are mechanical and hypothetical movement metaphors in the mathematical metaphors observed in this study. Also, in terms of gestures, iconic, metaphoric and deixis gestures are found. Such metaphors seem to be evenly distributed throughout the math class and expressed in various forms. Based on the results of the analysis, the educational meaning given by the utilization of metaphors is considered for the math class.

Outdoor play for young children can promote the development of physical development, emotional development, and creativity development. However, due to safety accidents that occur in outdoor play, outdoor play is not progressed sufficiently. In this paper, we have developed smart functional educational games for AR education which can be easily used in early childhood education. In order to maximize the educational effect of the developed game and to provide customized education on the field, we conducted a focus group interview with a group of in - service child care teachers in the game design stage. Through this, we developed a functional game with AR system and verified the educational effect.

The purpose of the study was to examine the mediating effect of self-esteem on the convergent relationship between respect for human rights and school adjustment of adolescents. Data came from the Korean Survey on the rights of Children and Youth in 2016 and a total of 2,366 of the 2nd grade students in middle school were employed. Structural equation modeling approach was utilized to test the goodness of research model fit and especially the mediating effect was tested by bootstrapping method. Results showed that goodness of model fit was acceptable and self-esteem mediated the convergent relationship between respect for human rights and school adjustment of adolescents. This indicates that the more experiences in respect for human rights and the higher their self-esteem students have, the better school adjustment they acquire. The results of the study imply that it is necessary to expand the human rights education for teachers and develop a new educational program that links between respect for human rights and self-esteem.

In line with the recent job insecurity, the preference for teaching jobs has been increasing for private and educational colleges. However, the T.O., announced by the Ministry of Education in tandem with the decreasing number of people, is decreasing every year, while the competition rate is rising steeply due to the increase in the number of students. As a result, the university is becoming a huge hagwon for teacher-nominee competitive tests as it tries to concentrate on the recruitment exam at the same time as entering the university. In this study, we will present a blueprint for school life to students enrolled in private universities by identifying the connection between the overall use of school life and study groups by students using deep learning.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between individual and parent factors and school factors of adolescents. To this and, 2,394 first-year middle school students were selected and analyzed using the Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS 2018) data. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, self-esteem and attention, which are personal factors of adolescents, have been confirmed to have a significant affect on the grit. Second, refusal, compulsory and inconsistency, which are the parental factors of adolescents, have been confirmed to have a significant affect on the grit. Third, teacher relationships, which are school factors, have been confirmed to have a significant affect on the grit. Based on the results of the analysis, the factors affecting the grit in adolescence were predicted and suggested for further research.
