A Study of Follow-up Test' and Related Factors in Students Who have Positive Result in Urine Tests (학생뇨검사 유소견자의 추후검사율 및 관련 요인)

  • This study was conducted to investigate follow up tests and related factors in students who tested positive for in urine tests. For the purpose of this study, the authors analysed a self-administered questionnaire collected from 316 middle school students and 451 high school students who had positive urinalysis results in Kyungpook province during the month of February, 1996. The major findings of this study were as follows : The proportion of follow up tests among students was 39.2% in middle school students and 34.1% in high school students. There was a significant relation among a number of factors : parents' environment, health concern, and knowledge of urinalysis results, existence of nursing teachers, education concerning urinalysis, medical facility visits, and notification methods. In a multiple logistic regression analysis a higher economic level, parents' concern, knowledge of urinalysis results, medical facility visits, anti direct notification of parents were all significantly related with the follow up tests. On consideration of the above findings, in order to perform practical and effective follow-up management of students who have a positive result in urine test, direct notification of urine test result to parents as well as active health guidance in school are required.

Analysis of the Differences in Students' Content Interest related to Family Life in Home Economics during Middle-high School Transition (중·고등학교 학교급 전환기 '가족 및 가정생활' 내용에 대한 학생의 흥미도 차이 분석)

  • Curriculum content interest has been studied in terms of teachers rather than students in ways that help revise curriculum and develop textbooks. In this study, 227 first-year high school students were interested in what they learned in middle school and what they learned in high school, focusing on meaningful assumptions and contents for middle school and high school students. We analyze this difference in interest by gender and achievement level. According to the research results, first-year high school students, who are in the middle and high school transition period, have relatively high interest in themselves, such as youth development, compared to family needs or interest in family life. There were no gender differences, but there were differences in content interest depending on the level of achievement. This means that the content interest should be interpreted by considering various variables such as the development of learners, the situation of learners in the school-level transition period, and the entrance examination of universities. The results of this study will provide implications for future curriculum revisions, textbook development, and curriculum considerations, and will need to be carefully analyzed and utilized based on a learner-centered perspective.

An Experimental Study for Determination of the Material Diameter of Riprap Bed Protection Structure (사석 바닥보호공 재료 입경 결정을 위한 실험 연구)

  • 하상유지시설의 하류에 설치되는 바닥보호공은 국내의 경우 일반적으로 사석(riprap)이나 돌망태(gabion mattress) 등을 이용하여 시공되고 있으며, 바닥보호공에 사용되는 재료는 유속에 따라 적절한 입경의 재료를 결정하여 사용하게 된다. 1970년대 중반부터 적절한 하상보호공 재료를 결정하기 위한 연구는 사석, 돌망태, 콘크리트 보호 블록 등에 대하여 순차적으로 이루어져 왔다, 초기 연구는 주로 사석에 대해서 이루어졌으며, 중량과 유속 관계를 이용하여 사석 입경 결정 공식을 제안하였으며, 점차 수심 및 하상 경사, 난류 강도 등을 고려하여 재료 입경 결정 공식을 정밀화시켜왔다. 공식에 난류 강도를 고려하기 시작하면서, 단순한 하상보호공 재료를 결정하기 위해서 제안되었던 공식들은 하천 구조물 하류에 설치되는 바닥보호공으로 관심의 대상이 옮겨가기 시작하였다. 기존의 공식들이 일반적인 평탄한 하상보호공으로부터 구조물 하류의 바닥보호공 까지 그 적용이 확장되었던 반면에, Escarameia와 May는 연구의 대상을 수리구조물 하류의 강한 난류 흐름이 발생하는 구간으로 범위를 한정하여 연구를 진행하였으며, Izbash 형태의 식을 기초로 하여, 난류 강도가 주요 변수가 되는 입경 결정 공식을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서는 Escarameia와 May의 연구 결과를 기초로 하여, 국내 하상유지시설 하류에 설치되는 사석 바닥보호공 재료의 입경을 결정하기 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 하천설계기준을 만족하는 실험용 보를 설치한 후 유량 및 실험에 사용된 사석의 입경을 변화시키면서, 유속을 측정하여, 입경별 한계 유속(threshold velocity)의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 실험 결과, Escarameia와 May가 제안한 공식을 더 확장하여 적용할 수 있는 실험 공식으로 개선하였으며 다양한 조건에 대한 실험을 수행하여 보다 정밀한 공식으로 개선할 수 있었다.$10,924m^3/s$ 및 $10,075m^3/s$로서 실험 I의 $2,757m^3/s$에 비해 통수능이 많이 개선되었음을 알 수 있다.함을 알 수 있다. 상수관로 설계 기준에서는 관로내 수압을 $1.5\~4.0kg/cm^2$으로 나타내고 있는데 $6kg/cm^2$보다 과수압을 나타내는 경우가 $100\%$로 밸브를 개방하였을 때보다 $60\%,\;80\%$ 개방하였을 때가 더 빈번히 발생하고 있으므로 대상지역의 밸브 개폐는 $100\%$ 개방하는 것이 선계기준에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 밸브 개폐에 따른 수압 변화를 모의한 결과 밸브 개폐도를 적절히 유지하여 필요수량의 확보 및 누수방지대책에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.8R(mm)(r^2=0.84)$로 지수적으로 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 유거수량은 토성별로 양토를 1.0으로 기준할 때 사양토가 0.86으로 가장 작았고, 식양토 1.09, 식토 1.15로 평가되어 침투수에 비해 토성별 차이가 크게 나타났다. 이는 토성이 세립질일 수록 유거수의 저항이 작기 때문으로 생각된다. 경사에 따라서는 경사도가 증가할수록 증가하였으며 $10\% 경사일 때를 기준으로 $Ro(mm)=Ro_{10}{\times}0.797{\times}e^{-0.021s(\%)}$로 나타났다.천성 승모판 폐쇄 부전등을 초래하는 심각한 선천성 심질환이다. 그러나 진단 즉시 직접 좌관상동맥-대동맥 이식술로 수술적 교정을 해줌으로써 좋은 성적을 기대할 수 있음을 보여주었다.특히 교사들이 중요하게 인식하는 해방적 행동에 대한 목표를 강조하여 적용할 필요가 있음을 시사하고 있다.교하여 유의한 차이가 관찰되지 않았다. 또한 HSP 환자군에서도

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate provedly the effectiveness of the practice for the arts and crafts by machine for project based learning upon improving industrial high school students' key competency for vocation, and to provide the incumbent teachers and future teachers who want to conduct research, a similar study with the basic reference materials. The vocational key competencies interested in this study are communication ability, information usage skills, team work skills, problem solving skills, tool usage skills, and responsibility and confidence areas. Because the result of pre and post testing over these six areas has insignificant differences statistically, we reach a conclusion which project based learning is more effective than traditional practice methods at improving the vocational key competencies of industrial students. On the basis of the results of this study, I would like to suggest some kinds of things needed to improve the vocational key competencies of industrial high school students. First, we require the diverse research to investigate the best teaching and learning methods to cultivate people of ability with the vocational key competencies Second, it is required that to measure the extent of the improvement of the vocational key competencies of industrial high school students, we have to develop a more objective test tool than that used in this study. Third, in the light of facts that project based learning influences on improving the vocational key competencies of the industrial high school student, we will have to make an effort actively to find the best teaching and learning methods, like project based learning. Therefore, we need to give diverse training opportunities and financial support so that teachers can conduct research to find the best teaching and learning method at improving the vocational key competencies for industrial high school students.

  • To support the expansion of diversity for schooling and make a plan for systematic robot education Ministry of Knowledge Economy did Pilot Project of Hands-on Robot at 68 Elementary Schools after building up the supporting system for teachers to practically use robots such as training course with Hands-on Robot. According to this, this paper will be shown about the analysis results of preliminary data about next expansion project of Hands-on Robot through analyzing the current status of Pilot Project of Hands-on Robot at Elementary After-School. For this, status of offered lesson and usage of teaching aids and materials, the number of regular/part-time teachers, students' satisfaction and so on at schools which are listed for the Pilot Project. The results show that at most of elementary schools students' creativity and interests about robots was increased and they tried to take the classes actively with high concentration. In spite of these positives, improvement needs for textbooks were also ascertained, therefore proper textbooks for student and teaching aids to bring on variable activities of students shall be based on additionally for the success.

Activation plan and Status of English Experience Center (영어체험센터의 현황 및 활성화 방안)

  • English as official languages of the world has constantly increased the necessity. Since 1997 the government has adopted English as a regular subject in elementary school and Currently, an English specialist teacher has been employed, and native speakers have been hired in schools. In addition to, Teaching English in elementary schools was common. The importance of English was emphasized not only private organizations but also government, As the early 2000s, local provinces were interested in English education. To reflect the phenomenon is an English village. Seoul, Gyeonggi province and almost all other municipalities built the English village for each region. The English Experience Center and the English village surveyed how they are being operated and also checked students who have completed English Experience Center Research methods is to survey currently running the English Villages, and the experience centers by analyzing the programs. As a result of the programs, most English centers achieved its own purposes. Thus, This study checks Busan, Seoul, Gyeonggi English Village and Jeollanam-do English experience camp used for data analyzes and suggests improvements for English education.

The Development of a Behavioral Assessments and QR Code Based Mobile Web Application for Classroom (성격유형검사와 QR코드 기반의 모바일 학급 웹앱 개발)

  • According to the fast supply of the SMART device, many people have a lot of interests about SMART education. The Korean government is showing a lot of effort towards the promotion of SMART education. In this study, I developed a behavioral assessments and QR code based mobile web application for school education. The developed system works seamlessly across all popular mobile device platforms and if you save the data after the assessment, this system will automatically create each person's mobile web page. Students and teachers can add comments to this page and can improve the accessibility for finding the address of this page to QR code. The developed system can contribute to the class members understanding the personality of each other and make communication run smoothly. As a result of application of developed system, it is expected to contribute to increasing the interaction between a students, parents and teachers because the developed system provides a service based to education consumer's TPO(Time, Place, Occasion).

Educational Drama Skills to Improve the Expressive Ability of Korean Language (한국어 표현능력 향상을 위한 교육연극 기법)

  • The early stage of Korean language education was to understand grammar. However, recent Korean language education aims to improve expressive ability for smooth communication. Hence, educational drama for education has gained attention as one of the effective ways of improving communication skills. Educational drama provides an actual conversational situation in which one can use appropriate words and grammar depending on the situation. Non-verbal expression such as body language and facial expression could be picked up so one also improves one's communicative abilities naturally. This means that educational drama shares Korean language education's goal of improving communicative ability. Moreover, the student becomes the core of the activity and finds solutions through cooperation with others, and this also helps improve social skills and self-esteem. This thesis covers methods of having interviews, re-writing texts to scripts, writing up post-script by imagining the following text, role-playing, and improving expressive ability by debating educational theatrical techniques. To make these activities successful, good quality VOD and learning materials shall be developed and used. Also, efficient training programs shall be created so that teachers make use of what they learn and improve their teaching skills.

Case Study of Software Education for Students of Child Welfare Center (지역아동센터 학생 대상 소프트웨어교육 사례)

  • Software education enhances creative thinking and critical thinking for students living in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and helps them choose jobs in software-related industries. This study is an example of software education applied to the vulnerable students of the child welfare center to narrow the software gap and achieve the equity in education. This education was conducted in Unplugged activity, Entry coding, and Physical computing classes for 170 students from 20 institutions in South Chungcheong Province, North Chungcheong Province, and Daejeon city in Korea. The curriculum utilized a total of four types of student and teacher level materials, with a total of 10 hours of classes per child welfare center. In addition, the surveys of the students and institutions confirmed that this education influenced their interest in software education and their desire for continuous software education.

  • As the interest in software education grew, the Ministry of Education was also required to provide software education for practical course of grades 5-6. In this study, learner-centered evaluation was applied to software education to analyze its effectiveness. It is hoped that many teachers will apply learner-centered evaluation to software education to become more effective software education in school. In a learner-centered evaluation, students can expect positive effects by actively participating in classes and engaging in active learning activities. Through learner-centered evaluation, we have taken into account the various background variables to see how students' three aspects, creativity, problem-solving ability and information-use ability change, and how learner-centered evaluation affects these abilities in software education. The result of research have shown that in software education, learner-centered evaluations have all had significant effects on creativity, problem-solving ability and information-use ability, as well as the existence of entry/scratch study experience.
